  1. well theres rich people every dude.... say it costs 250,000$ when it reaches AUS.......id say its safe to say that according to some peoples wallets...that 250,000 is the ratio of $2,500 or even $250 to thier budgets..so if thats the case i would buy it too... well i do know of its intended differences to the original GT-R but u know...all this HYPE....i was reading magazines since 2002 regarding GT-R Prototype...it just seems like it was taking things forever ... and then since it was released years ago in Japan and USA....it took the world by storm....and we australians ...STILL havent officially got the standard GT-R even. so when it said the spec-v was going to be released ...just didnt know what to beleive thats all....u get me?
  2. well seriously the thing is....if your replacing a top of the line fuel pump for eg..and not getting the mods.....then its kinda pointless... but i think you should replace a simillar kind of pump whilst getting a dyno tune. but there some workshops may want the work u know... i think the second mob you mentioned, says its pointless getting a high end pump... if you really need to replace it....then id say replace the pump with a tune up. mods can always come later on
  3. well sometimes i think secruity might even play part in some of these things and prolly get a cut out of it for watever. a mate of mine had his 2001 WRX stolen at the carpark in Mounties... the crooks somehow by passed the immobilizer as well as the alarm and the Satelite tracking. the satelite tracking didnt even pick it up as being stolen..... and end up finding the car wrapped around a pole a few Km away in the same suburb....
  4. well what sort of mods are you looking at? you would at least need it to be dyno tuned to get it running properly
  5. hi guys i thought it might be an intrerest to some with this link i saw of a Spec V http://www.pistonheads.com/SALES/896961.htm possibly from a UK site that is selling them soon
  6. lol well its not very nice to joke around when someone is really asking for help anyhow, like i mentioned...it is possible to some extent..... like the mice in the aircondition system that got chopped up
  7. yeah trolley poles are a crap..... extenable batterns are ALOTTTTTTTTTTTTT better!
  8. well maybe they didnt like the fact it was automatic and dumped it and probably thought at the time that they had to take something off the car now that theyve taken it..... may as well be the stock rexy buckets and the aftermarket stereo. i know what you mean though, stereo now days are just getting better and better....and dirt cheap. i recall being the first ones to buy the Mp3 Pioneer decks...from memory it was around 399$ for the head unit. but now all manufactuers make Mp3 and cost next to NOTHING....
  9. "emoswa"? LOL i recon its highly unlikely that its a rat dude...there shoouldnt be holes big enough for it to get in....unlless the hole for the wiring of the elctric windows the rubber bush is gone..but still....you'd be able to see that
  10. did it have the stock rexy seats or some fancy buckets? gee, thats all they wanted hey?..... no comment........
  11. do tell! this is interesting... ive never heard of this kind of problem... well not in the doors anyways.. ive heard of mechanics telling me of rats getting into the air condition system....(how? i donno..) but then the impellers in the fan chopped it up and gave the car a foul wrentch. taking them hours to dismantle the system to get it out.
  12. LOL i just added that to my favourites... i was starting to feel depressed due to the whether and extensive rain periods... but i kinda feel better now....
  13. yes the ACC valves and throttle position sensor etc can also have build up which can cause rough idle and sometimes stalling as well.... imi not sure where they are located on the RB25 but if you look aaround the intake to the throttle body, im sure you could figure it out. it may need to be dismantled and cleaned out with Carby cleaner
  14. i wouldve thought up there past the north shore wouldve been a great place... AKA "Gods Country" but looks like its not.....
  15. yeah......and then he will be charged for Attempted Murder as well as well as attempting to inflict grevious bodily harm.... then he'll end up getting bumjacked in prison......just for those inbreds out in that rural place?! its not worth it....
  16. you had a car stolen from there? gee... im never going there again!!!
  17. lol i would never let a GF drive my car i dont even let my wife drive any of my cars at all!!!! anyhow... i dont know if you experienced anything with the cops im guessig the law has tighted up in recent years? previously the TT supra i had few years ago had a loud custom muffler.. it was actually 135db when tested at the exhaust shop. it was louder than any WRX... but on low gear it wasnt that loud....even the 3 times ive got pulled over for speeding......they did not pick it out & got away with defects. well if i were you id personally get a better quiter muffler and leave the pod for now....
  18. GT-R you mean.............GT-R = Godzilla..... GTS-t + GT-T = NOT godzilla well how could they....if Porsche cant even figure out how to beat the latest R35?! and had the biggest dummy spit and made a conspiracy against the GT-R but to be honest, those new VE maloo utes are shit HELLA QUICK! and they look really nice too
  19. sometimes it could be the igniton coil failing. but this idle fault can be caused by a no# of things...like the ECU, Injectors etc it could be your ignition leads also firstly, did you wash your engine bay by any chance? i reacall doing this and caused a shortage on the ignition system. if not..what i would do first.. get an ohm meter or a multi meter - test all the ignition leads one by one..... dont pull them all out cause you may be confused where they go. the longer ones, the resistance should be within 20 - 30 Ohms.... the shorter ones should be between 10 - 15 Ohms.... let us know how you go
  20. yeah from what your ttrying to explain, it doesnt sound like the radio, since your telling us its from the motor area on the drivers side.. just make sure...that it isnt splits on the stereo with little tweeters near the front window frame on your side. some cars do have them there
  21. was the R33 set up like this also?
  22. you mean GODZILLA returns to tear up bathurst?
  23. thats pretty shitty news isnt there security cameras in the parking complex there?! did it go missing on the weekend?
  24. whats with the GIF picture bakes?!
  25. yeah jap wreckers is the best bet.....for a used second hand one. 3rd party? that wont cover you even if you wanted to.........your only covered for the damages to the other party..... (geee your pretty brave to drive a car on 3rd party.....) anyhow good luck try not to be too upset........cause id bet you people down that way especially the guy who threw the beer bottle has been through 3 Generations of inbreeding already
