  1. yeah dont bother dude you will be wasting so much petrol that way
  2. nice car....nice job but to be honest, i think your old gold rims look way better than the R34 GT-R rims for sure.......... it looks a bit too......i donno how to explain.....it just doesnt seem to match with it but thats just my opinion
  3. LOL Rhino beetles?! never heard of thier calls..... well try reving it and put your ear against the speaker of the stereo.... if its not there then its not that...
  4. well does 99kw : 1400kg comply with regulations? shesh........1400Kg thats heavy!
  5. hey owgasm......im CONFUSED with something too....... you car.....i was having a bit of a sticky beak on your website. and i recall seeing/reading your story about your car a while ago. is your car an actual R34 GT-T but converted to an R34 GT-R??? cause some of the body on it doesnt appear to be GT-R, neither did your old wing... as well as your motor.....it seems like its the R33 GT-R Rb26DETT with the black cover..... from memory it was posted saying it was a GT-T ---> GT-R conversion....
  6. its kinda hard to tell but if it does it in idle....... try opening the bonnet.....and accelerate in neutral with the butterfly/Throttle with your hand...and look in with a torch or something..... and then you will have a closer look at what it is..... let us know how you go......
  7. well the thing is...it may not be? because the R34 GT-Ts had that NEO version which is nissan version of V-TEC but alot of the tuning workshops which mod cars actually get it removed.... and if it were that good....the GT-R R34 in any model V-spec I + II, M-specs, NUR, N1 + Z-tunes never had it hmmm
  8. well the disadvantages of buying an early car is that......it will most likely have all the Manufacture faults that have not yet been either recalled or corrected. usually the last series is always the best...... but the problem when buying last of the series is that, your about to be out dated with a new shape & u wont be original anymore. where as when you buy the first when its released...you will stay original for a fair few years.
  9. the GTS(V) stands for V-TEC!
  10. yeah iron will sort it out. ok heres another bit of info from one of my sources.... May 1989 - R32 Shape released August 1989 - R32 GT-R released (280ps RB26DETT) August 1991 - R32 GTS25 released (RB25DE) Febuary 1993 - R32 GT-R V-spec released August 1993 - R33 shape released Febuary 1994 - R32 GT-R V-spec II released <-- when the R33 shape was out, as you can see they bought out a V-spec II just a year before they bought an R33 GT-R January 1995 - R33 GT-R released May 1998 - R34 shape released January 1999 - R34 GT-R released perhaps my suggestion was that the dates was that the GTR 1994 you know of....may have been built displaying the "date of manufacture" so technically, its a 1995 model car when the first owner bought it brand new in the JDM and it just displays on the plate 1994. so the with all the paper works.....mechanics, insurance companies, auction bidders, importers etc etc just went by whatever it said under the bonnet......... makes sense though but now come to think of it...... i recall seeing "1998 R34 GT-Rs" for sale... and refering to the info above, it wasnt released in JDM at that stage...but once again a date of manufacture plate. so this is obviouslt the same thing happening... well at least you know that the 1998 GTR R34 & the 1994 GTR R33 is the ealiest and first of the first GT-Rs on the front row......
  11. lol with what?........ 1994 VE Commodore Clubsport R8s?
  12. lol i was just playing with ya anyways... obviously something went wrong with the compliance process.... how do you know the people didnt get things muddled up during compliance? im pretty sure it states on the R32 GT-R Brochure that V-spec was released in 1994 so as babyskyline mentioned.....something might even be DOdgy...seller might have even bodged the books. but if you think with your brain of it logically.... say Nissan released the R32 GT-R officially in 1994.................. what........all of a sudden they skipped the introduction of the R33 skyline GTS, GTS-T and skip the introduction of the R33 GT-R standard.....and wooooooooooop.................here you go R33 GT-R V-spec?! like i said once again.....obviously something is suss......
  13. hmmm im not sure if this is the same problem i had few years ago. some cars have the Headlights and High Beams in the same globe........ the globe stays as a low beam usually and then when you hit High beams more power goes to the globe...making it brighter. but some cars have the high beams separate... thats my 2 cents... anyhow i recall these 2 forums were a good source of information on it http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/ http://www.kusoz.com/forums/general-h-i-d-xenon-forum/ they will know
  14. well obviously somethings not right?!
  15. well i have a 1993 R34 GT-R V-spec II NUR
  16. yeah so? your missing the point......... what it meant is that......the R32 GT-R V-spec was RELEASED, in 1994!!!! whilst the Standard GT-R was still on the market......get it? same as the R34 GT-R... when the V-spec was introduced, you could still purchase the STANDARD GT-R brand new......get it?
  17. well with the R33 the HR33 GTS is a 2.0L SOHC makes 96KW non turbo the ER33 GTS25 is a 2.5L DOHC 140KW non turbo the ENR33 GTS4 is a 2.5L DOHC 140kw Non turbo The ECR33 GTS25T or GTS-T is a 2.5L DOHC 184kw Turbo. some R33s were equiped with super/computer HICAS instead of Hydraulic HICAS and some R33 GTS25T have an ACTIVE LSD, which are standard feature on the V-spec R33. and a simple way to tell if one has it or not...is by the "A-LSD" and "SLIP" lights on the tacho. the RB25s both turbo and non turbo has NVCS (variable inlet cam phasing). in the Series 2 R33....had standard passenger air bags as STANDARD...the Ignition system was changed with the ignitor built into the coils... the Turbos for RB25DET was given a Nylon compressor wheel. and the Headlights on series 2 is slightly different in shape..with a different bonnet..as well as a Projector style lense/reflector...
  18. well according to wik the R33 GT-R was introduced in january 1995......as the 4th Generation GT-R as well as the V-spec as well. and the R32 GT-R V-SPEC II was introduced Febuary 14th 1994 but the R33 was introduced in 1993 he may have muddled the dates but make sure dude.........you dont wana buy a dudd...
  19. the thing is........ if you go buy a complete GTR R34 Bumper....rear bumper....etc.....it wont fit... look at the pictures ive posted....the rear bar for e.g sits flush with the widened guards...it wont work... but there may be specially made GT-T R34 body kits to MOck the GT-R.. theres a really good example of a fake R34 GT-R somewhere ive seen online.....do a search im sure you will find it. but like babyskyline said aswell...theres no point making it look like a car that its really not. thats equivalent to WRXs sticking on STI badges & kits... at the end of the day....its still a standard WRX.. if you really want a GT-R...... i would personally pick out of the 3 the R33 GT-R. to me....i dont like GT-Ts or GTS or GTS-T or GTS-25ts etc etc.. but if your going to use a car as an every day vehicle.....its more practical with the R34 GT-T.. more reliable & less fuel costs. let us know how you go...
  20. have you finally decided on what to get yet? make sure you keep us posted and take a pic for us to sticky beak...
  21. here are some of the basic examples...that make it hard to mock the GTR and if so...would cost alot of money to do so... i think there are kits sold on the market somewhere.... and there was a workshop that was reknowned to convert GT-Ts into GT-R with some great examples..... but why buy a car to mock the other? that would make you unsure of your purchase... where you could just buy an R33 GTR... the performance of it would be far superior than the likes of the GT-T R34
  22. dude, how can you not notice the difference?! Not only different kits.........the GT-R is wider......noticably wider too......different front guards, different rear quater panel on the Shell... different bonnet, Different boot lid. its harder to MOCK a GT-R with the R34 than the R33...thats why u dont see many FAKE GT-R R34s apparently the GT-R has an improved Chassis.....im pretty sure ive read that some where....
  23. yes a faulty injector could cause a simillar problem. but before we try and start to come to all sorts of conclusions.... firstly, were sure the Ignition leads are plugged in properly in sequence? secondly, by any chance...did you wash your engine bay after the mods or overhaul? ive had a same problem in my TT supra...i washed the motor and water got into where the spark plug sits...and caused WRX sounds....
  24. I saw a WHITE R34 GT-R heading Eastbound on the M4 motorway close to Penrith approx 2:00pm - 2:15pm not sure if it had a Black Carbon Fibre bonnet... some Aussie guy with a shaved head but the No# plate was ' N1 - GTR - 34 ' hmm IronChef? lol
  25. heya yeah i seen those pictures posted before.......
