Police Plan To Seize Cars From P-plate Speeders

yeah i suppose but then again...as i said....the power restrictions was the best thing the government ever bought out..... -
i highly recommend you test driving a twin turbo supra. seriously... the non-turbo is a real dissapointment.....its slower than the 200sx and the wrx..... where as the twin turbo is quicker than both those cars. u wont be dissapointed... let us know how you go

yes like i said, the GT-R has a reputation in the motor industry....and in aust, its the monster whom ate Bathurst for breakfast.... the good thing about the GT-R is........its a GT-R......everything about it.... there is no mistake for its identity. Even if fags mock the GT-R with GTS-ts etc....you can always tell by the wider guards, different bonnet & blinkers etc. but as for the supra, the downside is that the Turbo model & the N/A is virtually Identical from the exterior as well as the interior. the N/A really gives it a bad reputation...

Caught For Speeding And I Wasn't Speeding

well if you have been issued a court hearing....then yes you have to attend.... e.g drink driving....is an instant courtcase... i guess just you gotta study the law a bit before hand so you know what your talking about and your rights etc. dont always rely on the solicitor or lawyer......coz at the end of the line its your balls not thiers..... -

Caught For Speeding And I Wasn't Speeding
eeiko321 replied to fullypaully's topic in New South Wales
firstly, i advise you to learn from your mistakes.... the things you did were were wrong.. secondly, i dont think its worth taking anything to court.... ive had mates whom thought theyd stand a chance...... sometimes you win...... but most cases you lose...... your a P-plater whom ..lets say lost your liscnece.... and NOT WEARING P -plates........ a RED p-plater...... and with all the P-plater rant raving on....... who do you think the judge and jury are going to take sides with? if i were the Jury id immediately refuse any sympathy towards the P-plater... anyhow . the mates ive mentioned....lost ALOT of money through court...and you will have to study study study study & STUDY the court rules and the law so you gotta constantly know what your talking about in there..eventually your just gonna exhaust yourself..... otherwise your gonna sound like a thick headed p-plater... theres some guys here whom have taken things to court....put all thier effort, time and money in.. and lost the case and come out as a broke man feeling like an idiot with the coppers laughing at them after the court hearing.... -
Police Plan To Seize Cars From P-plate Speeders
eeiko321 replied to d00dz's topic in New South Wales
Great.....more P-platers smearing shit over the p-plater image....... oh well..........the laws just gonna get tougher for now anyways.... i think raising the Legal age of driving to 18 or 20 will also help. as age has a big impact on a drivers behaviour.... -
http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9XrNoRqqkI check this out.. they all sound about the same..... simillar tone but some are more quieter than others

gee sounds like hes ripping you off... or like one of the guys said....he might of f**ked the car in a way and is getting it fixed or god knows..he might have got it impounded over the long weekend and is trying to get it BACK from his "HOLIDAY" Keep us posted...... im glad your pretty patient about this, i wouldve tried to trace his address via his mobile no# and shoot the guy hey....... f@#$ asshole........ good luck dude... hope he at least refunds you for your costs... keep all text messages & details of time etc... just incase you decide to take it to court

early bird gets the worm...... you probably couldve sold it on Ebay......

well if you are thinking about Braking.... watch the trailer on you tube for "Top Gear Toyota Supra" i recal when they were testing it.......at the time the best braking in the world was the BMW M5...and the supra was actually not far from it.... or something along those lines, i recon u should watch that video since you may be intrested in one. both cars are great..i dont like how people here look down to the supra just because this is a GT-R forum etc. but as i mentioned to all tuners, the 2jz is actually alot better engineered than the Rb26. but if you look at it in another view, the supra is more common than the GTR... because the GTR is simply a GT-R....we all know its Godzilla.. (but you may get some fags with GTS-Ts whom put GTR badges & GTR kits) but with the supra..you got alot of Non-turbo ones running around. and beleive it or not..there are alot more supra N/A then there is TT.. see how you go and let us know what you decide on..

well Fujitsubi is one of the most common exhausts for GT-Rs in japan... from memory they are decently priced... it depends, someone should write an article on comparison with exhausts..(unless they have already) because an exhaust shop can custom make whatever exhaust and whatever angle you like..... and these custom ones are like half the price of HKS for example... that might be something to look into.... on the previous supra i had, i went to a custom exhaust shop......got a 3" pipe with 4" x6" stainless steel muffler & got them to give it a little kick in an angle of the way the muffler stuck out. it was around 1000$ or so.... but these things may work just as good as Blitz or HKS..... but like i said...i dont think anyone has compared with a dyno..
-
of course.... but the3 supras gearbox and engine is reknowned for bullet proof capabilities....so im guessing you didnt BOTHER reading that article ive posted its also explaining the modification with power
-
it depends on his taste in design as well... the supra has a really nice cockpit-feel interior/dashboard. which is so much better than R32 and R33 GTR interior.... but R34 GT-R above all.......... in saying that.....The year/era of the R34 is different to the Supra. where as the R34 for e.g styling of interior looks and feels very simillar to the 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX..since it was built around the same era. and 350zs interior for another e.g ...the styling is very simillar to recent cars.
-
yeah 180 sounds a bit too hefty. especially with no boost control.... im guessing around 150kw or 160kw..... but like i said, u never know........take it to the Dyno....ring around for a price.....

anyhow, here is the Caption from High Performance Import Magazine.. ""...its possible for some of the best peddlers to hustle a 6-speed Supra down the strip in 13-second bracket. bump up the boost, free up the inlet & exhaust and 12s are quite acheivable. in the US, supras with the stock sequential turbochargers have dipped into the 11s (albeit with stripped interiors and slick tires). This is sensational for any production car, but at this stage only lineball with the sort of response that could be expected from a GT-R with the same mods. When the turbochargers get bigger, and the times start to move onto the jaw-dropping side of serious, its the 2JZ that makes the cudgels, you see its quite possible, with the correct tuning, to turn upwards of 800hp through these engines withought any major component concerns. Where the GT-R engine will start to distroy pistons, damage valves and break rod bolts, the 2JZ will soldier on. The key to this other than a better basic level of design from the factory, is in the additional capacity and bore/stroke ratio of the 2JZ engine. Where the GT-R is terrifically oversquare, requiring 9000rpm plus to make its best power, the supra needs a little beyond 7000rpm to show its worth. Being totally 'square' design, there is ample torque generated at low rpm; enough to leave most equally weighted GT-R floundering in the proverbial wake under normal cut and thrust traffic conditions. A good comparison was a tuning job we undertook recently, with a Trust T78-equipped 2JZ making 340KW (456hp) at the wheels with just 1.1bar boost and 7000rpm. compare that to the GT-R we dynoed on the same day, with twin HKS2540 turbos it needed 2.0bar of boost and 8800rpm to make 345KW at the wheels......" in saying that..... the american spec supra , is actually alot quicker than the jap spec or the jap export model, with the slightly larger turbochargers & steel turbine wheels & minor adjustments to the engine.

i agree... the 2JZ is amongst one of the BEST 6cyl ever built in the history of the history of automotives. ive actually read an intresteing articles of Supras Vs GTR written by the Editor of High Performance Imports.... the Supra is said to have a better motor......and "BETTER" as in reliability wise and getting more power with less mods than the RB26DETT and i recall from what a mechanic told me......."i hate toyotas!.......becoz i never make any money out of them.....coz they never go wrong!" i must say...the supra is alot more RESPONSIVE to modifications & the reliability is beyond! but the GT-R does have a better name in the Motor world..... ill go and find it and ill keep you guys posted.....
-
well ive owned a 1997 tt supra..... an d if your talking about RELIABILITY..............................EVERYONE knows TOYOTA is the kings..... e.g the Toyota 1987 Hilux that top gear beat up....2million km on the clock.......droped it into the sea......hit it with a demolition ball....drove it down the stairs and dropped it off a 30 storey building..... and they got it started with basic hand tools from the glove box..... and also im sure every car enthusiasts KNOWS that the supra GETRAG 6 speed is BULLET PROOF........ alot of worked v8s have that box installed......... theres 9 sec supras modified in japan that have blown the diffs but nothing has happend to the standard 6 speed gearbox.

well i have yet to see an R34 with a factory double din......i dont think anyone ever bothered getting that upgrade.. although, factory sterios are rediculously expensive.... the Toyota Hiace Double DIN factory stereo was over 500$ well i guess we covered all the differences by now eh? -
