nope. im pretty sure the R34 GT-R has a different headlight... and the R34 GT-T is very very simillar....i spoke to an importer who pointed out the differences between GT-R R34 models...thats what he mentioned. but a good way to be sure is to take picture of both cars close up...and match it. im pretty sure from memory they look slightly different also. lol this is a GT-R R34 differences thread...dont compare the inferior GT-T to the GOD GT-R... i personally would like to think the GT-R as a different car to the GT-Ts heya sorry champ... yeah i worded it wrong. as far as i know the GT-R R34 has only got reflector type... ok here is the pic... the shift panel has a darker satin colour... and the headlight picture you can see the lining on the lights... and i think the PLastic inside...is a darker black compared to the earlier ones. the other thing i might add...is that...a few changes to the car were made due to the fact that the factory that manufactured the car moved... giving for e.g the bayside blue a slightly different finish. and from a few peoples comments...was that the earlier one actually had the nicer paint job. lastly, i cant get the picture any bigger online...but for the original pic you can see quite a few things in detail...i can send it to you if you want

let me rephrase... sorry i meant reflector type ...i wrongly stated it as projector. its ok to make mistakes you know....unless your just perfect yourself? anyhow...ill post a pic up of what i mean its the outline of the grey of the high beam, headlights and indicator.....

well thats good to hear so far.... ok ...so spark plug and coolant is good. next... i would check the ignition......... like did u wash the engine by any chance? like a degrease? because this happend to me a while ago..... i washed the engine and it was not sparking...water got into the spark plug & earthing out the ignition.... so start the car, pull the first ignition lead out from the spark plug with a set of pliers (so u dont get zapped) then put it on the earthing bracket on the engine block .. if theres spark...put it back...then do it to the next one........ thats to see if there is spark to the cylinders. once thats all good... if the turbo is worn...you can generally check the state of the turbine fans.... you may need to pull it out... let u s know

firstly..... i recon you should fix that problem of yours first you dono how much ur gonna pour out for that yet...... secondly i think TT is a waste of time.... alot of the high horse power cars...single turbo is popular......im not saying large TT isnt.....

P plater ..."P" stands for "POOFTER" LOL yeah bloody P-platers! well maybe your not the culprit type... but i cant understand why P platers are the main ones causing prangs like this... you see them all drive so recklessly EVERYWHERE, no matter where you go.... particularly in low socia suburbs like south west and the west. (and i dont need to mention about a car FULL of Habiby hectic broz with the crew cut hair) im guessing its just the mentaility of the people from the area.... because the new laws for P-platers, i must admit are pretty tough...... but it just doesnt seem to do the trick........ im guessing they might have to start crushing cars for repeat negligent driving offenders... and i think its just a phase that people go through, particularly boys... they seem to settle down a fair bit after they get thier full liscence. but when theyre on thier P's...its like "great, im off my Ls... i dont need supervision YAY!... or god im so good i passed my L's im gonna show the whole world how good i am that im on my P's to drive quick and rally bash" retards........

firstly im not.....WRONG this thread is about differences in models...if the poster researched...he wouldve found it everywhere. but lets refer to post #20: (Is there any diffence between a 1999 mdl and a 2000mdl v spec or are they the same besides on being newer? I know the 2001 is a vspec 2 and i know the differences there but unsure about 1999 and 2000mdl vspec's.) & post #24: (are there any differences/updates made on a year basis? i.e. '99 34 GTR Vspec comapred to an '02 34 GTR Vspec?) so, i answered thier questions in my post.... and beleive me dude....things ive stated there no one will tell you. that kind of information ive searched for months and MONTHS online... and all i ever found was differences between "models" NOT "year models"!!!! the only reason i got the information ive posted was from a dedicated Importer who actually personally stated each differences from his experiences. you and your N1....i recall you going on about it asking more info about N1s previously. thats what i meant about widely available online.... im not anal......its just the fact that when i was looking for the answers i seeked...all i ever found was mass info of the "carbon fibre bonnet".."ATTESSA PRO" etc etc well as i said before ...to me... the little bits mean alot ...... like how the later model has darker headlights and satin chrome surroundings on the projector.... and like i said i would fork out the 3,000$ for a pair of headlights that are from the newer YEAR MODEL.....as i wont be content with the older version yes the itty gritty bits are useless.....

didnt you read what i wrote champ?! i think EVERY Tom, Dick & Harry in this planet Earth knows the differences between GT-R, V-Spec, V-Spec II, N1, M-spec, NUR etc etc etc that craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap is WIDELYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYy distributed online............ i was narrowing down the itty gritty bits that nissan made changes. e.g the dashboard aluminium is darker on the later models....

and what does GTS-T stand for? and GT-T? all i know is that GST stands for "Goods and Services Tax" lol maybe thats what inspired Nissan to name these UNHOLY non-GT-R........ things.!

also come to think of it.... i would also check the spark plugs, make sure they arent fouled.. if they are OK.... start the car and pull each of the Ignition leads one by one and earth it out on the engine block...see if all have a spark for each cylinder... because if you are chewing through fuel withought any Oomph.... then it could be Spark plug or the ignition leads or even the ignition Coil. its hard to saay withought seeing your car but try the above., this is just diagnostic....narrowing things down...

ohh come on man.....he wouldnt be that naieve would he? anyhow nickandsarah.. check your coolant, the resevoir and open the radiator cap when the car is cold.....have a look....... im not 100% on this but this is what ive heard from tradesmen when i was doing the mechanic apprenticeship donkeys years ago. when a car blows black smoke...its either running too rich or its burning oil...a black/purple tint in the smoke. and when a car blows smoke that is white...means its combusting water.... it makes sense though.. so maybe thats your problem? theres a problem with water getting in the chamber and giving you shit house ignition/combustion.... let us know how you go... i would personally check the coolant.....then if it is hardly any in there or lacking...id drain the rest....observe it closely, see if there is that oil/fuel residue in the coolant... i hope this is not the cause, because if you have a hole in the water jackets and getting into the cylinders.... big probs.....big probs.... you would probably end up replacing most of the engine

well good to see some people have not lost any points or RTA likes to call them Gaining points.... yes it is like a cycle, its nearly coincidental theyve made things pretty tough i must add, the 3 year replenishing of the points...i recall it was 2 years many moons ago (im pretty sure?) and now theyve added the 3 year P's rule... but yet, i cant understand why there are an outburst of hoons these days....and MOST are on thier green p's especially. i was driving near Whetherill Pk yesterday arvo, and behind me was a Black 2005 - 2006 camry. tailgating me, on a 60km/h zone...then he overtook me at 100km/h...i looked it was a Fully Hectic Sick Habib with the crew cut hair, with the music blazing on his Green P's. and to my suprise, after overtaking me...he nearly caused 2 accidents within a 50m stretch. one, he was speeding and it confused the person turning/cutting across from up coming traffic. the person turned & didnt expect him to come up that quick. then, in front of him he tailgated someone else and that person turned in a driveway, and it seemed like he was estimating that the person went straight in withought even slowing down....missing them by a Bee's dick. (ive ac tually experienced being behind someone and the person turned into a driveway but STOPPED, with half a car out in the lane... and yes it was a car load of fully Habbiby hectic broz) anyways what an asshole... he should really lose his liscence on this double demerit day. i was kinda tempted to call the new Dob in a hoon NO# operated by the Police and council in the fairfield city...whom they guarantee whoever gets dobbed in...they will monitor thier cars & driving.

all good champ.... i thought i might add that because to me ...thats important... im the type of guy who is very particular with things.. a perfectionist.... for e.g if i had an earlier GTR R34 and it had yellow indicators, where the later ones have white........id feel like shit, i wont be able to sleep. LOL just like the supra i had......since the later model had darker tailights and darker headlights...and a red side marker at the rear that lit up when the parkers are ON...which indicates its a late model..... i would either get all those upgraded... OR....id SELL the car to get all that LOL or if my ealier model R34 GTR does not have a sheet metal over the ECU like later ones....im not content even if it doesnt do anything..... lol thats just me

Hi guys since i started a thread about losing points.... since day one i got off my L's and got my full liscence back in 1998, i have never had clean points, or 12 points left...or 12 points to lose ... everytime i get them back after 2 and 3 years...i always seem to do something silly and lose 3 again. so the question here is.. who HERE has not lost a any points from 12?! ON THIER FULLS!?

heya, which camera was that at? yeah i knwo what you mean, but this camera is right next to a set of traffic lights, makes it a pain in the ass not in a school zone... but after hours of school, its generally 60km/h so if you were going 80 you wouldve got done for 15 and over but in school hours...80 = Loss of liscence!

true...but if they use that kind of car for highway patrol, its not used to transfer suspects.. they will only be used soley for the purpose to encourage people doing something stupid. but like i said, its a good idea for a non domestic car unmarked... since i live in the west.....everytime i see a s15 200sx for e.g i picture a "fully hectic bro" driving it..so that will really throw people off if it was under cover
