  1. feel bad to ask? dude, thats YOUR car............... the owner of the shop made money out of you for the work he has performed.....and the scratch his worker performed.... i would ring them up and talk to him about it..... u neva know.....doesnt hurt to ask.... he might even fix it for you to keep a good name for his buisness..... or he could just be a f$% witt about it...... thats when you ring the "office of fair trading" and explain to them what happend..... things on the dashboard arent cheap for some reason... especially an import. well if you dont..........your the one stuck with it....... thats why i try to do things DIY..
  2. yes thats the one! HUGE gigantic big lee warehouse that was just completed...and next to a TOYOTA & HINO dealership......its for a school next to it... that cameras is so new...that its not even listed on the RTA Speed camera website yet........ 'Wisey18' said its not completed yet so its not functional......im not sure...he hasnt replied yet....
  3. hi there actually i looked it up on that list.......i got the address wrong......the one mentioned is further up near parramatta in guilford... which is near a KFC i recall.....but this isnt the one..this one i think is working, it doesnt have organe painted posts. because on the list of cameras @ RTA.NSW.GOV.Au... the only one on woodville rd is the one mentioned above.. i figured it may have been too new to be put on there... the one i was talking about is next to a CALTEX petrol station between Fairfield St & Orchardleigh St... near the new huge Bing Lee & Western toyota dealer...is that the one your thinking of too? and how do you know its not functional yet?
  4. hi guys im just wondering, has anyone been done at a school zone camera out of school hours? because i was travelling towards parramatta on Woodville Rd Cnr of Kenelda St & Osgood St, in Guilford ... the cameras are new with Orange painted posts. Its for the school of Granville South Public school. i was trying to catch the lights, it didnt occur to me that there was a camera till i passed it. i didnt recall it flashing, but im starting to think that person who gets the flash, wont see it because your travelling the other way....oncomming traffic ive always witnessed people getting flashed. http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/roadsafety/speed...schoolzone.html thats the link, and it claims that speed cameras for schools also act as a speed camera. so can anyone shed some light on this?..... as in..have you been flashed afterhours in school camera? do you see the flash from behind at night???
  5. yeah as you can see i posted pretty much all the differences between the models of "GTR" cause all the bullshit you read online ..the differences between v-spec and non-v-spec, differences in N1 & nur.....and shit is MASS printed all over the web...blah blah "carbon fibre bonnet....", attessa pro 2................ sick of reading all that crap sometimes people want to know the itty gritty bits that changed... another e.g is the toyota supra...the later models have darker headlights....darker tailghts....slightly different intrument cluster & different clock.
  6. i dont think v-spec came out in 1999 yet "*Later models have different paint in the engine bay *later models have black interior instead of grey like the earlier ones. *the headlight housing is darker than the earlier ones. *the later model R34 GT-R has a metal sheeting over the ECU *later models have different mirror adjusting knob than the earlier ones *Color of shift pannel are differrent *Color of front and side market lens, early ones are yellow and later ones are white. *different pedals *type of radiator is different between year models *bigger rear rotor on the later ones *different "nissan" badge on boot/trunk in the year models *different available std color (stopped few colors on the older one and added some new colors for the later models) *engine oil cap changed back to R33 clicking type (not all) *Engine number changed from start of 0 to 7 and type of font used to stamp numbers have changed but this happened some where in year 2002 (I think when nur started manufacturing) " they are the main differences i know theres more but i just cant remmeber
  7. wrong! buddy! there are a fair few differences.............. you probably didnt get his questions....he said updates on a yearly basis.... these are the differenes i can think on of the top of my head.... *Later models have different paint in the engine bay *later models have black interior instead of grey like the earlier ones. *different pedals *type of radiator is different between year models *bigger rear rotor on the later ones *different "nissan" badge on boot/trunk in the year models *different available std color (stopped few colors on the older one and added some new colors for the later models) *engine oil cap changed back to R33 clicking type (not all) *Engine number changed from start of 0 to 7 and type of font used to stamp numbers have changed but this happened some where in year 2002 (I think when nur started manufacturing) so as you can see there are heaps! remember than mOSt car models vary within years
  8. i personally think unmarked polcie car a good idea... its proven effective..... so many people caught. and as they said...when people see a marked police car, they modify thier driving. but eveyrthing has its pros and cons. the disadvantages of unmaked cop cars is people impersonating police if they are unmarked or undercover. young girls can be targeted for sexual assault.
  9. well a supra TT cut is alot alot ALOT more common than a Aristo cut...(if any) try a R34 GT-R front cut............if thats expensive. well thats when your personal budget comes in to play. i personally dont think supra TT cuts are expensive. but its your call in what you wana buy id say buy a cheap car for now to get you to and fro........ and when you save up...buy something good..... not something haLF arsed.....
  10. i guess the long and the short of it is...shouldnt race anybody now days
  11. what do you wish to acheive with that???? you may as well get a custom cat from an exhaust shop with a better looking muffler with a better flow......that wont burn your wallet.....
  12. sorry to be rude........ but how the hell did you put diesal in??????????? the 2 pumps at gastations have 2 different nozzles...............the pump u used shouldnt even of fit into your car........ the diesal has a larger nozzle which helps pass high amounts of diesal to trucks etc...but also they made it NOT to fit a petrol cars tank...... the petrol pump has a thin nozzle........which can sometimes be accidently put into the diesal tank but NOT the other way around......
  13. i would say its electrical.......im not a professional auto electrician.......... but generally what happens is..... when your car is off....whatever you turn on.....fan, radio lights etc.........it uses the battery...... but when the car motor is running...it should transfer to the Altenator...which produces electricity via magnetic fields..(thats why you see copper coils through the fins in altenator) so all devices your using including the motor running is supplied by the altenator. and the altenator should also charge the battery. unless you were running on your battery only and the altenator stuffed....... look just take it to an auto electrician.....NOt just any dodgy mechanic..... and with a few tests with the multi-meter.....they should tell you whats not working
  14. dude, you sound like u know what ur talking about..... im saving u on friends list so when i get my GTR soon ..i know who to ask if i got the issue with keys.... also do you have the workshop manual for GTR R34? not the dodgy R34 GT-T or GT manual thats posted all over the bloody web...........
  15. yo.. why doesnt it fit? any esxplanation? yeah thats what i was trying to tell him............ the aristo 2jz-GTE is are rare as bat shit!!!!!!!!!!!!! let alone trying to find one fully wrecked as a half cut......... if there is any half cuts available........ plenty of supra cuts out there.......
  16. yes also keep in mind from memory if you upgrade to a turbo on a non-turbo car....something about the requirements is that you need to replace the brakes to be engineered... same for your non-turbo supra.....
  17. so he was able to keep the car did he? well he was lucky he didnt get shot while he was running how do u know someone desperate chasing you didnt want to get caught and since this man saw the guys faces........
