eeiko321 replied to davinjones's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
your best bet is ringing Brant's car alarms.... but in the meantime.. try resetting the alarm....by Dsiconnecting the battery for 2 minutes...... sometimes this can resolve few issues.... -
Didnt you guys read his questions? he specifically asked for the OEM Part Number with X3 question marks "???" lol anyhow the Oem water pump number is 21010-21u25 for ALL......

in my opinion if it were a rear wheel drive, a Supra TT is a much prefered car than a GTS-T. or a GT-T Even..... Alot more power, Potential, over engineered reliablility & more rare than the tom, dick + harry + dog + bird + Fish ....GTS-T but like you said, everyones got thier own preferences & thoughts ...

R R32 Gtr Brakes Better Than R33 Gst-t Or Same
eeiko321 replied to ELMOHASA33's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
The R33 GTS-t brakes are also ventilated, most modern cars are... or the fronts at least. They are not Brembos however... -
Driving Mates Gtr R32 On P's
eeiko321 replied to cm712's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
you should not be allowed to drive on any coloured P's under the new law under any circumstance unless exempted..... the people you see with P's are either : 1.) breaking the law.... 2.) Got the car + Liscence just before the new law kicked in 2006 and is exempt. but by now....the people who did that shouldve moved onto the full liscnce...so dunno whats going on there. or 3.) people love the P's ..5 - 6 points or watever it is.. and just keep renewing thier P's plates and not wanting to move onto full liscence just to piss new P'platers off.............. 4.) got some sort of bogus exemption to allow them to drive the car i.e a mechanic apprentice or something along the lines. (which would probably change one day) so its either 1 of the 4. -

Need Info On Intercooler
eeiko321 replied to blitz r33's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Too big of an intercooler will cause lag, as well as negative attention from cops GT-R intercooler would be the better upgrade... they are painted black and is good for up to 350KW you will need a piping kit to do the conversion -
thats old news dude it was at the promotion for the release of the R35
-
yes but thats the way i see things anyway... theres no right or wrong in anyones personal opinion. you may think a Hyundai excel is crap... but to some people, its good as gold.
-
why wouldnt you generalise when nearly the majority of the population young people do in this day and age............... just because you may be the odd one out..... look at the rest of australias 21 Million population
-
guessing... *19 yr old *male *Ethnic background *apprentice mechanic's wage *blows, most of the money on his car... (for that kind of chump change, and spending all your dosh on your car, you would not even have enough for rent a week living on your own, let alone the expenses)

yep a lightened flywheel is a solid peice and thats probably what you had since it rattled here is a run down on the pros & cons: The dual mass systems are designed to transmit less engine vibration to the driveline, and give a better more car like driving experience. They also reduce some of the jarring and stress on the transmission and remainder of the drivetrain. They work fine as long as the engine remains unmodified and the vehicle is not used/abused beyond manufacturers recommendations. As soon as you start to increase the engine power over stock, or load the vehicle beyond design parameters, you run into problems. Dual mass flywheels are tuned systems and must be matched to the engine torque curve, engine resonant characteristics, vehicle load curves (including axle ratio/tire size calculations). They work by having a set of springs inserted between two rotating masses (thus dual mass). The springs are sized to soak up some of the resonant vibration from the diesel engine under load conditions. A dual mass fly wheel generally also contains an over torque friction release, so if it gets suddenly overloaded, rather than damage the springs, it slips. This works fine as a safety valve, but if it does it much it burns up. In short, overloaded they burn up and the springs get destroyed and they are worse than if it were a single mass FW. The single mass part WILL tend to transmit more engine pulse (vibration) tot he drivetrain, and will seem a bit rougher. But it is straight forward to design a single mass flywheel and clutch package for pretty much any engine torque curve and vehicle loading combo you can come up with. Drives more like a TRUCK, but has much better reliability at extreme use levels. Depending on what you have done to your engine and how you use and load your truck, we can supply a single mass flywheel and clutch system properly sized for your truck. Ballpark $600 for a mildly massaged engine, more for extreme applications.

read what Bozodos said..... when your 20, your alot more mature than you were at 17 giving a high performance car to a 20 year old is better than a 17 high performance car for any inexperiened driver is not the way to go........ EXACTLY... thanks Bozodos ^^^^^ -
yeah and what if the ignition leads have a fault?! and he doesnt have a Multi meter?!

i wouldnt call any of these things cheap but of course for someone whos apprentice mechanic that still lives at home with his parents with no Expenses but the car... i suppose to some people it wont... i think the same i personally dont like anything thats a Non GT-R.... in fact i HATE any skyline thats a NON GT-R but ive come into terms with the fact that not everyone can afford one even if they wanted to. as well as a public skyline forum...so people are free to ask whatever they want with thier car
