Car Seems To Be Cutting Out Of Fuel?
eeiko321 replied to Sky Sim's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...=idling+problem from what your saying... problems like these are common in old cars like yours... alot of people experience this with a Dirty AAC valve (idle control valve) check all vaccume hoses also -
that rattle isnt created by the Twin plates.... its most likely the lack of the Dual mass flywheel.
-
no, its a quiet rattle like a loose syncro sorta... most aftermarket clutch kits come with a dual mass.......so MAKE SURE IT COMES WITH A FLYWHEEL Yes the OEM GTR Clutch system is a push type alot of aftermarket clutch kits like OS-Giken etc are a pull type conversion...... push type are not a bad thing.. in most designs, the Push type is better than the Pull.
-
yeah could be a number of things but i would personally check the most obvious things like spark plugs...make sure they arent rusty... then check the coil by seeing if there is spark at all leads.. check if fuel filter is blocked, sometimes the symptoms of blockages cause irregular idling and drives like shit. by the way does it rev past a certain limit??? does it cut out? if it doesnt then it may be in limp mode..... try reseting the ECU

SERIOUSLY.... you still dont get it do you? P'platers problem is that...not only are they inexperienced, they are over confident with the "oh i finally can drive...ill show you all!" attitude.. thats when shit hits the fan... and the pics shown above gives you ONE example out of, MANY! i dont mean to sound blunt, but your going around in circles here.... you know what the BEST thing is for you???? TO just try it.................. let us know how you go............. just do it.... ok? you must be the type that is really thick and never learn or Know unless you try......... keep us posted show us any pics too..... -

do not get a brass button type they feel shit house.... be aware that the OEM flywheel is a DUAL MASS... which cannot be machined and is recommended to be replaced whilst replacing the clutch. alot of GT-R owners piss the Dual mass flywheel off.... but in doing that........ a slight rattle sound will appear.

not every single one of them...... but statistics have shown that MOST are....... why do you think these restrictions took place?... they didnt do it for the love of god you know... theres a reason for everything no matter what anyone says...either way P-platers lack the experience on the roads.. and its not a good mix with an unexperienced driver with a high powered car, end of story. -

lol My friend... from what i read...The way you think is evidently shows that you must be VERY, young.... well if the pamphlet clearly says you are not allowed then why are you nominating yourself to drive this car? and then worry about him getting in trouble and not yourself?! as for your question, at this point....im pretty sure you cop the fine.....your friend walks free. but they were actually looking into charging the owner of the vehicles whom lend thier cars out to people whom are not legally allowed to drive the certain vehicles. because too many young people were buying high performance cars and registering it under thier parents names etc to make it less obvious. yep, copz are really cracking down on this shit.... seriously you better watch out... -

would you get in trouble if you were drink driving and your mate is in the passanger seat sober? would you get in trouble if you were speeding and your mate is the owner of the car in the passanger seat? and would you get in trouble if you wrapped the car around the pole and your mate is the owner in the passanger seat? ABSOLOUTELY! -

Rb25 & Rb26 Cams Chasin Specs
eeiko321 replied to ELMOHASA33's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
No i beleive there wont be much gains with this excercise.... The Camshafts look simillar but i beleive that there is a slight difference when fitting. Apparently the VCT must be removed as well as slight Valve length adjustments/modifications will be needed so its not a direct bolt on. lifters on the Rb25 causes the differences with the Rb26 tappets the your better off buying a Tomei Kit than wasting it on Rb26 camshafts -
true true the R35 has shocked the world...... taken the world by storm & REvoloutionalised the motor industry. and not many makes or models upset porsche the way the R35 GT-R did....

Abs Removal Causing Attesa Faults?
eeiko321 replied to hossboss's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
heya well someone has done this before...... i think it was someone on this forum years ago but it may be a bit fiddly with the electricals but should be pretty straight forward... so how good are you with handy work? -
Abs Removal Causing Attesa Faults?
eeiko321 replied to hossboss's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
was your car always like this? ok... well what happens is... the ATTESSA depends on the ABS sensors to operate... as well as the AWD system. so when removing the ABS system, you need to trick the ATTESSA by rewiring a few electricals... and apparently this does the trick. -
my opinion, you should take it off yourself... its easy and then take off the boot...... then give it to a spray shop.. for them to re-spray it... that way its cheaper for labour...and you dont have to leave your car there for apprentices to do dounuts in........... yes it has to be re-sprayed.... because they putty up the holes and they sand it smooth then coat it.

R33 (nismo) Speedo Calibration
eeiko321 replied to some_cs_student's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
yeah i think it is i feel that anything technical that someones makes the effort to writting a DIY on to help others definately deserves credibility and to be displayed. the UK GT-R forum article definately help you didnt it? but the problem is, dunno how many people have the same Speedometer as yours.. and if they do, im not sure if they would be picky with it. -
ok most problems like this is the Oil in the ATTESSA is running low.... the resevoir, is there sufficient fluid in it???????? if not, top it up with special power steering fluid .. your workshop manual should tell you what type unless there is a problem with the pump keep us posted
