  1. Asking: SOLD for the EGT with sensor SOLD for the OT with one sensor, or $40 for all SOLD for the OT sensor only SOLD for the OP with sensor $50 for the boost gauge SOLD for the gauge holders or $5 each. Apexi boost gauge still for sale
  2. I re used mine, just shortened to fit and no problems on a HKS cast low mount.
  3. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/91...ump-t23957.html Same sh1t different bucket..............
  4. I wouldn't bother washing or waxing it, car covers let fine dust and pollen through all the time. So you'd only have to wash and wax it when you get back as well. If you go with a car cover you'll need a waterproof one and they aren't always lined on the inside, so you may need to get a lined one and a waterproof one as well and double skin it. I'd also buy a bag of longer occy straps and use these to hold the car covers on because they never have enough tie down straps on them and will blow off. Your tyres and such will be OK, might flatten a bit but will round out again in the first few miles, you'll notice a slight patter patter and shudder until they do. Battery, as everyone says, disconnect it. Steering lock, disconnect the fuel pump and probably remove a front wheel and take it away, that won't stop the expert but will slow everyone down to the point where they'll look for easier pickings. If you can afford it, go to Vinnies [or Clark Rubber] and buy three foam matresses/foam sheeting and attach these to the car with some of those occy straps, instant hail protection for under $50 or so.
  5. A 3076 will set you back around $1500 or so, this may influence your asking price/s
  6. Price drop: Asking: $40 for the EGT with sensor $20 for the OT with one sensor, or $40 for all $20 for the OT sensor only $50 for the OP with sensor $50 for the boost gauge $10 for the gauge holders or $5 each. Sick of hoarding stuff!! Please read the first post though!
  7. Thanks for that, I'll remember for future use, Torques = BS not PS
  8. do you have a std bov?? and is it working?? Probably gearbox related though, dragging/friction when in gear.
  9. drivers side is much easier to use anyway, its short ah=nd direct, I've got all my stuff throught there, boost hose, 3 x gauges, WMI, WMI solenoid, and probably stuff I've forgotten.
  10. means you have blow by. try renewing the o ring on the top of the dip stick [i think R33's have one, but I haven't looked] will make it a snugger fit.
  11. too exe anyway, be better off with what axe s says or troll the for sale section on here. I know this one is sold, but its an example of what you can buy http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...rt-t293148.html Also, forget all the shiny bits, they only stay that way until your first drive, then they start to tarnish and colour up, so a near new s/h one is worth a look.
  12. You'll end up with a wet floor, if the big grommet under the inner gaurd isn't seated properly every time it rains you'll get a leak unless you use heaps of silastic as well PS in english does cable = hose or electric wire? just trying to convert to colony speak............lol
  13. you can check your knock levels on the hand controller display, go to the correct page and it will give you a read out with peak hold, but if your light is coming on then its +60 or thereabouts.
  14. measure a new one!!!!!or get some one on here to do it for you, helps if you know the brand and part number though, you want to compare apples with apples you can ask a mechanic, but its a 64 million dollar question
  15. If your measuring a used gasket then it has already been compressed, and won't rebound at all when you take it out [it is now flatter, it won't spring back or puff up]. The amount of compression [of the gasket] depends on the gasket material used. I've seen paper ones go from 0.7-0.9mm to so thin you can see through them. Copper ones seen to compress the least. Composite gaskets it depends on their make. To compare gasket thickness you need to have two new ones otherwise your kidding yourself.
  16. 256's probably won't change the peak power all that much, they lift the mid range. If you want cams that lift the peak power you have to go bigger
  17. Get new ones from Lincorp or s/h ones from a wrecker.
  18. Not if you use the rebate tool and turn it down till its flush.
  19. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Br...84#entry4908684 read this
  20. I wouldn't use helicoils, use Time Serts, much better option.
  21. I could have done with one when I drove to QLD, and also SA. Long straights, speed camera's and cops. Been thinking about it for a while, but usually end up spending my $$$ on GFB's. One day............one day..........
  22. I thought he couldn't do this method, not enough exposed stud left, but I agree is works very good if you can do it.
  23. If its really stuck, be very careful not to snap an ezi out or hammer in stud remover off in your drilled hole cos then your up the creek........no drill or dremel will touch them [they will slowly and using heaps of them, but you'll end up gouging the thread and parent material because it is way softer than the ezi out metal].
