  1. sounds OK, I'll PM you.
  2. what price, I can use them for front tyres
  3. s/s is forever, alloy fittings eventually corrode and fail even anodised - takes a while I'll admit, but it does happen. And it will always happen on the Hay plains or halfway to Nyngan etc never in town. And s/s its much harder to break if your doing/undoing stuff. Plus, I'll a big fan of anything s/s, even wedding rings.................lol
  4. Why does everyone want alloy [speedflow etc] fittings? I wanted stainless steel, but nobody makes them in 14mm, and I searched pretty much world wide via the www. If you could make stainless steel hoses AND fittings I'd buy a set tomorrow - everything s/s.
  5. Yep...............Wayne Carey!!!
  6. It's also interesting that you paid $19500 for it, a lot of cars barely get to $15K. Not questioning your purchase, I think that it actually reflects the true value. Just wondering if the market is rebounding now? I know I wouldn't value mine for less than $20K, but a lot of ppl would say I'm dreaming. I look at the market and how much it would cost me to replace and that stops me from even thinking about selling. So your price is interesting, maybe the start of a better scene?
  7. What sex shop do you own???
  8. 555 nismo injectors, 70% duty cycle, std internals except tomei sticks, 290+rwkw I have a SARD fpr, so may help a bit? I reckon 550's would be fine myself, but its your $$$$ and 555's cost nearly as much as 740's
  9. I think the concept has merit.............we all get sick of answering the same requests all the time and yes we do get short/abrupt and minimalist. But what we all have to remember is that we all started in that exact same position years ago ourselves - and short/abrupt and minimalist can be seen as downright rude. I'm no expert, and I've asked some pretty dumb questions at times, and there has always been somebody there with the patience to help. And I've stuck to it and learnt as I went along to the point where I can actually now help out at times.......all thanks to SAU [and spending $$$ modding my skyline]. As a forum, we don't want to see potential/members disenfranchised or leaving because we fail to answer what may be [to others] a simple question. And that is the danger.........
  10. Sterrenberg [castle or ice cream]
  11. Get your std BOV modded, costs about $100 [uAS does it]. Sorry GTR.........[as Nismoid pointed out], my idea not required!!
  12. The only thing with the first intercooler is that the piping is for a Supra? The pipes come out on the one side like the Blitz, but they are facing the wrong way [should be facing away]. I run with a Blitz, no complaints.
  13. "an up to date step by step guide on the conversion locked would be nice too" 2nd that
  14. Forget helicoils and all that other stuff, the only real permanent fix is a time sert. Costs around $100 for the kit, agents were in Newcastle, but you could get them at other places as well. Use a drinking straw in the cylinder and turn the motor over by hand until you feel TDC. This position will trap any grease and scwarf at the top . Tap and insert/install the time sert, cold roll it etc. Take out your household vacuum cleaner and attach a small clear hose into the nozzle end [use tape] then feed it into the cylinder through the sparkplug hole and suck out any metal shavings that could have dropped in there, twist the hose about and cover as much of the piston top as you can. Job done, and if done right, you'll have no problems at all. If someone has a down bore arthroscope, borrow it and check!
  15. try lincorp in Sydney
  16. Can't help you, but I know that replacing the GTST fpr with a GTR unit is an upgrade, so I'd say more pressure.
