  1. Spoken just like someone that hasn't got one..................lol. You are right though, I'm more interested in having one because they are the absolute last of the R33 gtst's. The fact that they are 40th anniversary is just a bonus to me.
  2. I didn't get the GCG hose kit!! All I got was the fittings. The oil feed fitting is a banjo and bolt. There is no 90 degree bend, I won't have any problem that I can see. I'll get s/s hose swaged onto the end of the banjo by pirtek/enzed and I'm pretty sure it will fit fine. The only place I have 90 degree bends is thwe speedflow water line units which I don't want to use, I'd much rather have normal steel banjo and bolt units similar to std fittings. If your still certain I'll have problems, a pic would be good.
  3. As the title says. I got some from GCG, but they are speedflow/alloy. I'd prefer steel, zinc plated is OK, but stainless would be better. Nothing wrong with speedflow, just like the durability and hardness of steel. Before I run up a million dollar bill on std calls, thought I'd ask here first. PS the oil banjo and banjo bolt from GCG is stainless, so I'm Ok for it.
  4. Why not anodise it, then paint it [with the proper paint]? That way if you get a stone chip, it still won't show!!!
  5. I had my Blitz fmic anodised, can't remember the price, I think around the $200 mark. It turned out OK - not brilliant - but OK. I'd suss out Abo Bobs contact first, could be a better finish?
  6. I have a 40th '98 Gtst. Has the number 2498 on it. All I have is the seat badges. But I've heard of the pillar badges, and also a boot lock cover with 40th Anniversary on it as well.
  7. What you do is 'fight fire with fire'. Go to Social Security and tell them that she has a live in boy friend, works occassionally at the corner store for cash in the hand, and doesn't declare any of this on her pension. And yes, this a humorous reply.
  8. Shell fuel dockets, a defect notice for a bald tyre [i think], and a passport sized photo of a twenty something jappo, all in the drivers door. Also approx. 1/2 cup of dry soy sauce in behind the dash. Obviously he had a meal [misso soup??] sitting on the dash and spilt it. I kept it all as a souvenir [not the soup ...lol].
  9. Sealed is the way to go, either a Pulse or an Odyssey are OK. Nothing worse than acid fumes in the boot. Sort of a bit worried about hydrogen build up as well=====and the fule tank is nearby, make a good combo!!!
  10. Fuel pump, have you got your old one handy? at 200kw your old standard pump will still handle this. So re install it and check.
  11. Yeah, concrete gaurantee, once your off their driveway your off the concrete! I don't know why anyone would quibble over a std ECU, no good will come of it.
  12. You read the plugs for the rev range you want to assess burn for. ie You drive at 4000rpm and do a chop, then you do 6000 and do a chop etc etc and its best done under normal load etc no revving in the driveway, either a dyno or a racetrack etc. Or if your only interested in one bandwidth then do a chop on it only. Sorry Saliya, just saw your reply, and you are correct.
  13. Its definitely menstruating, wait a week or so and try again! One question---------did you do a plug chop? or was this after you drove home and parked it in the driveway/shed?
  14. Leak in the intercooler pipes, check your hose clamps etc
  15. A bra and a bum bag, big tits and incontinent.....................can't be much of a car!!

  17. I'd take it out, check the thread size and then make a new one up out of say brass or alloy [although I'm not in favour of alloy on alloy, so maybe get it anodised as well]. What does the back end of it look like? The bit thats still in the hole, is it a needle, meter etc etc. If its nothing special you could maybe just buy an allen bolt with the correct thread on it and use it to make adjustments [but I'm betting its got a precision end on it and you won't be able to do this].
  18. If I give up speeding and being a hoon-------Will my dick get bigger???
  19. Will they let you on the golf course with one??
  20. If your getting black crap out the exhaust and you say it could be coming from the engine, I wonder what your cat is doing = coughing up fur balls??? Could be wheezing??
  21. Yeah, thanks, others have ground their engine mounts back as well. I originally got the angle of my cut wrong and cut parallel to the motor. The cut really [now I know] has to go more like 60 degrees to the motor. Its a problem when using the HKS and a bigger turbo.
  22. I just want to know if the nismo mounts [or any mounts for that matter] are smaller diameter than the std nissan mounts. I'm particularly interested in the right hand or exhaust side front mount. I had to cut into mine to fit my GT3076 WG turbo on a HKS cast low mount manifold. I reckon I cut too much off and plan to replace the engine mount, but thought if I was going to do it that I should get something that is bigger/better/brighter - well not so big in this case.
