  1. Town stocks were always a great place to meet up and recycle your excrement/foodstuffs. Just imagine___you are meeting friends, having fun, doing your bit for the environment, adding to the town compost heap...........and you know where to dig if you want any worms for bait, and best of all at the same time you are rehabilitating a wayward soul. Its all WIN< WIN< WIN
  2. Actually you'd be better off spending your $$$$ on an old brass Tuba and then making a funnel out of it for a ram air induction system aka cold air intake. This way at least the quicker you go the more air you force into the motor.
  3. Adjustable cam gear on std cams = power increase with dyno time. Best benefit can be had if you have a pfc, front mount etc etc etc. Adjustable cam on tomei cams = no benefit cos Tomei's work best at 0 degrees.
  4. Nothing if you do it yourself............. Maybe $100-300 approx. 1-2 hrs work [this is just for the cam gear nothing else].
  5. Thats the trouble with standing in front of one of these devices.......................you get sucked in!!!
  6. I got one on my puta!!!! Keeps my ECU and hand controller {mouse] working very efficiently. It also increased my fuel economy, I now get 8.75 keystrokes per milliamp, before I was only getting 7.0.
  7. Yes, could need a spacer plate as well is all. This is to space the turbo housing out 6-10mm off the manifold, some people get away without one, others need the spacer. If you buy a HKS cast low mount you don't need the spacer, but you will need a heap of other stuff [dump, intake, wastegate etc] and you'll have to cut the engine mount away a bit as well. But it is a low mount and bloody hard for anyone to see what you are running with. The turbo tucks in underneath. Generally speaking, the stainless steel units are high mount, the std manifold is a side mount, the hks unit is a low mount.
  8. No use giving the bikes to Salvo's or St Vincent de Paul, where do you think these kids get thier bikes from in the first place!!! The biggest trouble is, the gov't wants to blame society, parents, the victim, anybody..............but the real blame rests with the gov't for being such soft c0cks and letting kids like that do the same crime again and again. You see it all the time. In the old days they would have put 'em in the gunny sack with the kittens and a brick and dropped 'em off the town bridge, problem solved.
  9. And after all that effort........................its still a shitbox worth $200 tops!!! You couldn't sell it on thursday in front of the dole office!
  10. Got a front on it bare as a baboons ar$e, not my style of car..............but I'd guess some yuppy will want it!!
  11. yeah, it was Osama, when he was a boy......................thats how old it is.
  12. I can't vote, interstate is no biggie, I do it a fair bit. But because I do drive, I have no answer for the second part.
  13. Thanks for that, had me stumped. I also remember a similar skit with [i'm guessing] either abbot and costello or laurel and hardy, old B+W stuff, so I think its been around for a while as a stand up gag.
  14. With the engine cold, use a leak detector like 'Snoop', if you don't have this, some really soapy water. Start the car up and then apply to the crack. It should froth up straight away. The window of opportunity will close when the manifold heats up.
  15. I'd tell ya, but I wouldn't want to spoil it for me............
  16. True, but with a walking stick it usually doesn't get to that, they don't try anything anyway, they go eslewhere.
  17. Actually stone chips are only half the problem. Bug splatter, especially big fat grasshopper splatter that bakes on on a hot summers day when your travelling 300-600km or so - now thats hard to get off without chemicals.
  18. Yeh, I can remember seeing my first ABS and thinking what a dumb place to locate the injector pump [ah la deisel]. Since then I've got a shed full of tools, spanners, welders, air compressors, and do everything I can myself - in the middle of a turbo upgrade atm, only problem is juggling life, bikes, and cars, but I'll get it finished soon now. But like ^^^^Birnie, done heaps of my own mods and still doing them - but we all started somewhere!!!
  19. Its a line out of a comedy skit I think, on the tip of my tongue..............I'll think of it soon.
  20. Was crash a roll over?
