  1. In through the out door......... Goodbye R3sp3ct [hopefully only for a while], hello smoothr33.
  2. But you only need this if you have - at some stage - taken it out. R33 Gtst's all come restricted from the factory, they are already running with a BB turbo. Well thats my spin on it anyway.
  3. Cos you keep dissing them, your too hard, like katana steel!!!
  4. Thanks, I'll go with a 14.
  5. I've got a '98 GTS.25t with a Hks cast low mount [extrude honed to clean it up] and a Garrett GT3076 WG. I will probably be running this setup with 14-18psi and shooting for around 270-280 rwkw. External wastegate will be a Hks 40mm standard. Boost is controlled by a Hks evc IV. I have pretty much all the normal mods, fmic, cams, pod, zorst, z32, etc etc Motor is stock, no forgies, conrods or thicker gasket. What spring rate should I get, 10 or 14 psi? It all comes down to when I want it to start bleeding boost off, but I'd appreciate some experienced comment.
  6. Disappointed, everyone is selling. But I guess some things are meant to be, will be sorry to loose you as a regular, GL with the sale.
  7. Strange beasts these GTR's.. It all reminds me of Christopher Columbus, he set out to find a way to India by travelling across the Pacific and instead ended up in South America.....mind you, he didn't have a NISSAN SKYLINE MANUAL------lol
  8. Fastest donut copper shopper!!! Question......can you buy street cred?
  9. I've tasted Canberra water, you can't blame it on that. First Leigh and now Low200. I can see the love hearts floating in the air from this side of the Brindies!!!
  10. Just caught this, Congrats Leigh. Means there's hope for all you losers out there yet!!! If Leigh can do it.... Just kidding. I'll try to get my car happening for the wedding [gotta have some black there]. Ohh and as for Valentines...1. I'm too old, and 2. We just signed up for a $250,000 loan so roses etc are low priority.
  11. Beau, don't go getting PC mate, I new what you meant, and we STILL haven't got a pic of that bloody airfreshner yet. Someone is squibbing............................keeping their mods to themselves. Now I was thinking of using a pine tree one off the rear view mirror, but I reckon it'd interfer with my fluffy dice, so I thought I'd get one of those ones that squirts stuff every 10 minutes and put it on the dash wiff some tek screws and silastic, but I've gotta remove me crucifix and the virgin mary statue first. So you see I'm at a loss, I just don't know what to do, if only I had some pics of somebody elses airfreshner mod and then it would give me some ideas. Maybe I could get them to do a DIY guide, I don't know, jeez I'm totally lost here.....................I got this stinking bloody stupid airfreshner and I've got no idea on how to set it up. If I don't get some sort of help soon I'll have to put it up for sale in the SAU For Sale section.
  12. Just jap seem to be doing this a bit lately, they have a number of products that are brand named jjr, but they look just like the ebay chinese copy specials eg jjr external wastegate, it looks like a hks unit, and there are a myriad of chinese knock off's that look exactly the same on ebay. I'm not saying they are no good, I'm not saying that they are the same, they look the same. And they are at bargain prices.
  13. ^^I'm with skylvia^^ And you'd better get that mod engineered, you don't want a defect for your airfreshner!!! Otherwise its a clean skyline, looking good.
  14. What you do with poultry in your sleeping bag in private is no business of mine.................lol.
  15. I made up my own s/s brackets, I'll get some pics of it all tomorrow.
  16. SAU should sue them for breach of copyright and take them for all they have, do we have any budding solicitors in our ranks that want to make a name for themselves? PS I reported it too!
  17. There is another thread somewhere on the net - maybe SAU, SDU, SOf*k or Nicoclub, can't remember - where they talk about counterfeit Z32's. Apparently there are new dodgey copies of Z32's out there and its buyer beware. I'd suggest giving eBay the flick, buy from a reputable business like Nengun, Greenline, Just Jap, Kamikaze or other ones that sell on SAU etc instead. At least they will stand by their product.
  18. No, sleeping bags!!!
  19. The rear seat shouldn't press against the side too much. Most of the time they are....this is because the big plastic cover with the built in arm rest is loose. The press in clips that are on the back of the cover pop out of the metal holes in the car shell. This is one area nissan stuffed up, the holes are just a little bit too big. You can try pressing the cover back on, but it will likely only pop off again. I tried several different methods of making the hole in the metal smaller and/or making the plastic clip that goes in the hole bigger. The only thing that has worked so far is to use a drill and pop rivets on the edge of the hole thus making the hole smaller. This means that the plastic clip at the back of the cover fits in a lot tighter and won't pop off. Personally I prefer a tight fit, but I am also keen to pop off......then again I am not a cover. PS If any of you 'gun' metal workers out there know of a better method of fixing this, let us all know.
  20. 175 as ryanrb25 says is too low. You won't break traction just with power alone [forget clutch dumps, water, gravel etc] under 200. At 220-230 you will break in 1st and 2nd, at 250-270 you will break in 3rd, and thats with real tyres 255-275's, not those pizza cutters you have on now......lol
  21. Damn damn damn.....just got to page 5 and the netrider server bombed out, now I gotta wait!!!!!
  22. The TDM is a solid bike, I like its sister the TRX, very good practical motorcycle. I see and have ridden with heaps of people that own huge power bikes and can't ride for sh1t. They go like stink in a straight line and then panic brake arms and legs flapping, then they look like they are using a steering wheel on a forklift going around the corner. The sensible thing to do is work your way up to a big bike, and in all honesty you may never get that far, or get there and then go back to a cruisier general purpose type of bike. I've ridden and/or owned many bikes and I'm back with a general purpose type of bike, a Triumph Thunderbird Sport 900 and am happy with it. Not saying I'll stay there, but it does me for now. So I reckon your TDM 850 is an ideal bike, can be leant over, good brakes, good fuel range, will easily take a pillion and/or load [swag, tent, panniers/saddlebags], its not a boy racer, but its not a wobbly old cruiser either. You did well.
  23. great, every time you drive down the road you'd be like a streetsweeper, picking up old rusty nails and bits of wire. Start of the trip your car weighs 1400kg and by the end it weighs like 14000kgs....................lol
  24. That sucks.....its always first in best dressed. A price is a price.
  25. Tune...............what tune?
