  1. Use a multimeter or test light, you can rig up a test light from your interior bulb and a couple of wires with insulation tape. I made one up years ago for setting the auto advance on old motor bikes with points ignition. But really a multimeter is cheap as [under $10], and a test light is like $2-5 at supercheap. If nobody answers at least your not stuck. Best I can do sorry
  2. None, but you'll get f/a benefit from them until you start chucking more $$$ at it. All the usual things like injectors, turbo upgrades, fmic, pfc, pod, etc etc etc. If you have everything else, you'll see a really good increase in low torque and around 10-30rwkw depending on mods etc. Cheap power for sub $900.
  3. I'm not sure, I'd say borderline if they are 444's, but you'd have to dyno and see.
  4. I'd check out Sydney Kids group buy on bilsteins etc. I'd do it myself if I had the $$$$.
  5. Take a look at the for sale section, [Moanie forum user] has a set for sale, brand new. Around $700-750 was the asking price? But Nengun had the best price when I brought mine, $830 landed, but the aussie dollar vs yen is better now, so sub $800 i'd reckon.
  6. Only possible if the fuel rail has been changed to top feed.
  7. That is afaik. Its how it was sold to me, I'm only quoting the person I brought it off. This unit is the same as other ones I've seen advertised and they all say the same thing.
  8. This would have nothing to do with Moanie's cams now would it? I've also got a late model '98 gtst with a PFC, works no problems.
  9. This is the one! Brought and paid for, coming to a street near me! Its already been set up for the T3 turbo mount, just gotta check the threads etc are OK.
  10. I never used it, brought off another forum member, then changed my mind when the other manifold came up. I don't need it anymore as I've chosen to go for a hks cast unit instead. It will bolt onto your current turbo, dump and all intake. You will notice the increase in flow instantly!! gaskets NOT included!! Letting it go for $250 Shipped
  11. Love all the safety gear your pit crew is into - reebok runners and such......lol So what are you looking for, a good 180B motor to update with? PS Glad its not my bank a/c your gunna use.
  12. Have you tried a re trimmer. I know that the gtst seat cloth is available [the purple/green/grey mottle cloth]. Retrimmers have a bloody wide range of materials and covers. If they have it, you get new stuff.
  13. I've found a hks cast exhaust manifold - used. Facts: Its an external wastegate ported manifold with a T04 turbo mount. Now the questions: Can it be changed to a T3? I'm told this can be done. Whats best leave as a T04 or change it to T3? Does this weaken the unit? I was going to get it checked, decked, extrude honed, coated etc so it could be changed at the same time. I wanted to run with a GT3076R [it was gunna be a IW but now I have the hks manifold it will be a WG], thus the change to T3. If it can't be changed to a T3, can you get the GT3076 in T04? [i'll also check the turbobygarrett and ATP site on this one]. Comments and help appreciated.

  15. Big W..............I'm so cosmo!!!
  16. Cut the top hose in two, 12 months ago you could have brought mine!! I sold it, already had ex temp, oil temp, oil press, boost, reckoned that was enough to distract me lol so sold the water temp and sender.
  17. I just tried Meguiar's NXT Generation Tech Wax on a car that had bad faded paint that only a really good cut and polish and several hours would normally fix. This stuff is absolute magic, no hard rubbing, just wax on/wax off. And the paint came up like I had spent hours on it. It was around $50 for a bottle, so I paid for a miracle, but it went way beyond that. Its a synthetic polish, and works on everything except stone chips and crows feet. Highly recommended. I've never seen a polish like it. Note, it didn't work as well on powdercoating, but paint was fine. I'm going to give it a go on my Skyline and see if its as good as Meguiars Wet Look wax, which is the best till now.
  18. Vet clinics would put down 20-50 dogs/cats a week because the 'must have' pet suddenly doesn't fit the owners life style. The two worst periods are just before Xmas [lets get rid of last years model] and approx. 3-6 months after Xmas [it was a cute kitty/puppy, now its a all growd up tom/dog]. It's a truely sad indictment of society, we can give so generously to some charities, but can diviorce ourselves from feelings for a pet that shows nothing but love and loyalty - to the point where we can kill them in a most trivial way. Sickening isn't it!
  19. Thats where my greddy was mounted, in the top rad hose with one of those alloy adaptors, so midnight is right.
  20. Get your battery checked, if it has a faulty cell you will have an open circuit. The alternator thinks it is charging a flat battery so max's the voltage. BTW your battery will not hold a good charge if this is the case.
  21. Check they didn't screwdriver the tank, lots of times they just use a screwdriver with a sharp point on it, one hit with a hammer and then the fuel drains into a bucket. You end up with a hole in your fuel tank. If they use a pillow/rag, you don't even hear it happen. Sometimes they get cunning and gum the hole up, then you fill up again and they only have to punch out the goop to drain your tank again the next night. But its prolly a sender unit.
  22. Choco labs go for big bux too, up to $2000 a pup, so these are a steal. And don't ask, I've aready got my full quota of animals, dog, horses etc
  23. Not yet, waiting for one to turn up, I've asked around/put the word out, so I'll wait and see. But I reckon if I can get one for the 1k mark, I'll be happy. i can be sort of patient.
  24. 350 to 900 degrees C. Cold day, idling after driving 350 hot day going up big long steep hill 900 cruisin in the hood 400-500 highway around the 700 mark
  25. The good part about it is if you bend one and it snaps or fractures, you can replace them with braided lines and then you'll never have to worry about whether it can be done like that again...lol
