Spotted a white R32 gtst on northbourne heading south at 1545hrs, I waved but it was too far away to see [i bought sunglasses not binoculars].

old but interesting reading: http://www.aph.gov.au/library/pubs/cib/199...0/2000cib11.htm And for a list of refineries: http://www.chemlink.com.au/refineries.htm makes me wonder if the brand you buy at the service stn is made at their refinery. It'd take some logistics to get some brands to their outlets [and I reckon it doesn't happen, they buy in from another refinery]. This doesn't mean you are buying shell at a mobil bowser, but it may have been shell before it went to their blending facility???? -
keep bad people away
tridentt150v replied to silver gts-t's topic in Site discussion - including Ideas/Feedback & Bugs
I reckon your onto something there gR33ddy, one of my pet hates is that ppl don't pay anytning for the use of the for sale section, and then they abuse the bejesus out of it with scam spam and dud buys. I reckon use your idea and let SAU take 10% of every sale, this would fund the site, almost stop scammers, and 100% stop bad deals. I sold a bit on these forums, but I donated [helped my conscience], and joined SAU. -
Laurel Hill Camp, CONFIRMED 27, 28 and 29th May 2005
tridentt150v replied to oscar32's topic in National Events
Mate, we are keeping this first event informal at this stage. We will have some trophies etc, and some music [cd's etc], but we are trying to keep costs down so more ppl can afford to come, so no band etc. We can organise a cruise Saturday morning if there are enough takers. I hadn't really though too much about it, but there are winery's, waterfalls, snowy mtn hydro dams and power stations etc etc etc [sorry no drift/race tracks]. There would be some top photo opportunities and locations. -
No.......... prices are per person, sorry, out of our hands for the major costs. If you do the maths you'll see that we are only after $5 per person for running costs. The major part of the cost is going to the Laurel Hill Resort for acommodation and meals. Still, $55 is not too bad for a nights accomm. and three meals [try matching that at motels etc]. I realise that it may be a bit more than some ppl want to pay, but we have to go ahead with it, the old 'suck it and see' policy. Other ppl would have been majorly disappointed if we had canned it based on price. I hope to see everyone there, but realise some ppl have work, bills to pay, other plans, who knows, I/we may fall flat on our ar$e and end up owing money [fingers crossed]. This is the gamble we take, this is the committment we make. If it is a success [a break even or better] then we'll do it again next year, if not then we will assume ppl aren't interested and won't have it again, it's all up to us skyline ppl I guess. One thing I do stress, we aren't out to make money [just not loose any would be nice].
-
prolly just a bit of chewy stuck in the thread.....................lol
-
Money has to be in by approx. 1st May for accomm.+ meals only [as stipulated by Laurel Hill proprietors not us]. If you want a t shirt then it will have to be in much sooner, say 15th April. This is our first time [obviously] so these dates are best guess.

Sh1t, if yr not on some island bitchin' about the team, or in some house, or knockin' down some house then yr gotta be singin and thinkin yr Frank Sinatra. Then u got someone killin' someone, someone else diggin u up and doing a semen count to find yr killer. Or yr some really kewl housewife/college nerd/XXXXXX/XXXXX in some glorified soapy that does nothing and goes nowhere all in one room. TV is so full of shit they oughta call it toxic waste and ban it under the Kyoto Agreement. Hell no wonder ppl are killin' their parents/kid sister/partner, it's the trendy thing to do. If it wasn't for Little Britain and Jerry Springer [lol, gotta luv trailer trash] viewed as a comedy.............................. You can understand why ppl watch MASH and Senfield a million times, it's still better [to them, not me, I don't watch much of either] than the new shows.
-
Project Mu, but they are prolly $$$$ than DBA, and don't do anything diff for the xtra cost.
-
Also front shockies can cause vibes. What about tyre pressure, have you checked it??? A half flat front tends to pull. But I'd be going for wheel balance.
-
I'll update the list, once your details are entered, make sure they are correct and then please please delete your post [that way we can keep the thread small and compact and I don't miss anyone]. But don't delete your post until after your details are listed, I am subscribed to this post, but that doesn't always seem to send instant notification. New design coming. As I PMed Richard: Triumph, turning ordinary men into great mechanics since 1902. Basically you buy anything thats 30 years old and owned by 10 different ppl [some of whom knew little and others who thought they knew everything about Triumphs], it's gunna need a full rebuild and check up from the ground up. The new[after 1992] Triumphs are like all modern machinery, boringly reliable. -

Use that plastic bonnet, tear it off, slide it under the car motor and then you have a top oil catch drip tray. You was always gunna get a proper bonnet anyway mate. PS If you'd owned Triumphs you'd be a real spanner man by now and able to tackle anything. -
Joined before xmas 2004, still waiting :wavey: Got my email newsletter, nil else.

tridentt150v replied to Sinista32's topic in Australian Capital Territory
No leech, what you do is go to a wreckers, find a nissan and remove a couple of dozen bolts. Then you go round to Richards place and whilst feinting concern and giving that 'I want to help look', and while he's not looking............................drop the bolts you got into a couple of his parts bins. Then sit back and watch him try to remember where all those left over bolts should have gone. At this stage you can suggest places that involve a complete re - strip down of the newly built bottom end. ie 'This one [holding up a leftover bolt] looks like it comes off your crankshaft mate!!!!' Watch Sin turn a sickly shade of white.............. :sly: :cuss: -
