Thats not to say r33 owners can't bag out r32 or r34 owners, or black r33 owners can't rag on other colours. :shake: :boinkcar:

johnnyr31, it wasn't me, my wish was that more early skylines had turned up. Everybody buys and lives with what they can afford according to their priorities. I own a Gts2.5t, sure I could afford something flashier, but then I'd have to give up something else in my life, a choice I'm not willing to make. I actually thought your car was well turned out, and was glad to see it there. One day you may trade up, maybe keeping the r31 cos of the great times you had in it [we'll all have to trade up one day]. But I wouldn't trade up cos other ppl say blah blah about a certain aspect of it, they are small minded bigots who ought to have more sense. Don't take their narrow views to heart, meet them head on and laugh about it, turn it around to your advantage. See you at the next event, and I'll be the first to say gidday and shake the hand etc. And as a lesson to us all--------------------see what a few cruel uninformed comments can do, I bet it took johnnyr31 real courage to say what he did on the forum, please do not divide the skyline comaraderie we have going, SAU is for all. Whats next R32's ???????????? lets not be silly.........

Sounds too much like a winnebago [mobile home], 2 doors is enough for any performance car.

Want 200rwkw out of a stockish R33?

Cats are dogs......................... -
Give me a whale, love the 33's, in black of cos'.
-
No harm in trying, and if I was going to get a ride, smart to at least make it in a good one.....lol.
-
Nice GTR, must cadge a ride in one some day and see what the difference is in performance etc compared to the Gts. If the gap is huge I'll have to upgrade, cos a GTR is a GTR.

tridentt150v replied to R33GT's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Apexi??? power fc and hc? I'll be in Sydney end of Sept, I'll pick up and buy then if you still have it, otherwise if you'd do COD I'd take it now. -
Jeez, I think every shot of yr 'citrus lime' skyline turned out skylinegal, very photogenic that nissan, stands out in the group shots for sure. Good shots LTS and Supafly, wishing I'd gone to Mt Ainslie etc now.........

Got a couple of wmv's with arabs drifting, if andrew or somebody wants to pm me their email [prefer work email, quicker and bigger], I'll send 'em on for general distribution. File sizes are 2713 and 1656. Unless everyone's already seen 'em....................
-
Try these ones, quality had to be reduced to make the files small enough to upload.

tridentt150v replied to MIU's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)

Dunno, saw a heap at Ginny Lake BBQ's, but they was nearly all eating Macca's or something, don't understand, why go to a BBQ to eat TA ????????????

I finally met everyone, can't remember a damn name [except andrew], well not quite true, I remember mine d, da, dan, ..........................or it coulda been andrew, jeez now I'm not sure. Wanted to chew the ear off the silver R33 gtr owner, but never got to it, next time I guess. Good to see one R31 made it, variety is the key, one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready, and four to go. Had a good day, thanks everyone, very friendly, sociable. Whats next, lets at least make it an annual thing, Sept. 10th or there about.
-
Fine west of the ranges, scattered cloud, bloody wet though, roads and gutters still running. Brindies have big black clouds on 'em..........??????????
-
Yeah power fc is on the same list, but i don't know how good or how reliable or how much work my turbo is/has done. It's next for peace of mind - ecu's emc's etc don't go bang and fail dramatically [well they are less likely to]. Not that my turbo is going to go bang, but I don't know it, so I would prefer to start with something I know. But reckon I'll have both soon.

yeah you can come, you can park it behind a good one lol sorta like tall ppl to the back, cept its damaged ones

Tyre scrub and lock diff
tridentt150v replied to tridentt150v's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
yeah, but I gotta sort out my rock hard jap suspension, front springs/rear springs swap over, new softer springs on the back, and maybe lower sway bars etc [still got yr pm about it here], so $200 is a starting point, the end point is likely to be $500+. Plus fuel, accom etc What the heck, haven't even touched 2007 wages yet [next years is all gone already]. Get a lot of shoes and hairdo's for $500 lol. But it will happen. -
Who is that idiot washing his car in the rain...................me me me me me Just about ready, two new rear yokohama avs102's, mounting block for my EVC, and a clean up done, just a polish to go.......................now if only the sky would clear!!!!!!!!
-
Ok, I'll ask, did the GCG hiflow change your spool up. Does it come on sooner, or later. Going on what you said SK [being better for a daily drive], I guess its not peaky. I'm churning out 200 rwkw at the moment, and the hiflo option sounds like its the go for more power, but not too much power [which makes the car a b#tch to drive, especially in the wet]. Somewhere around the sub 250 sounds good to me. Bt the way, I've got a pod, z32, fmic, full 100mm exhaust, injectors, and pump, so the turbo is next in the engine dept.

Tyre scrub and lock diff
tridentt150v replied to tridentt150v's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Thanks Sydney kid, knew I could rely on you. I haven't got to whiteline yet [as per your recommendation], a busy lifestyle, work and 400 km are my excuse. but I do intend to get there, and I think they will likely solve a fair few of my alignment/suspension needs. This just makes it more imperative that I do so. Now all I have to do is convince the better half that spending $$$$ on the vehicle is good. -
I've got a nismo lock diff [nismo boxes, clunks around corners etc] and other suspension parts [came with car]. The camber on the system is set up so that the tyres are scrubbing out on the inside. They look fine on the outside, but if you look underneath they are worn on the inside. Also, the left tyre was way bald [and I didn't even know], but the drivers side tyre was only 50%. I had 'em off 12 months ago, and the wear was the same for both tyres. Anyone had experience like this?? Can the camber be adjusted on the rear???
-
I reckon I'll be there, look on the bright side, cars glisten in the wet. Even a shitty paint job looks a million $$$. Might miss the BBQ if its raining though, done my time around a hotplate with a brollie up catching all the smoke, eating half raw snags in saturated Nike/Addidas/?????. But I'll pack for it anyway. But the sun is gunna shine, the sky is gunna line [makes no sense, but sounds good] no evil thoughts here.

I wouldn't get too agro on the day, we don't want low life scum for sure, but we do want more members and ppl who think skylines r kewl. Who knows, we may get someone selling their commonwhore or falcoon and joining the import fraternity. 'More bees to honey than vinegar'. But weeding out the scum, how do we do it??? its a hard one, maybe a Breaker Morant 'rule .303' is the G-O.
-
There ya go gtir_94, the film crew can now film your car being towed hahahaha Anyway, its better to have the cops there and admiring our cars for what they are, and seeing that we are/can be responsible, not everyone that owns imports are law breaking, dribbling, car hoons. And it'd take 'em all of 10 minutes to round up a posse and hound us anyway, so lets all be tall and care not. I like the idea of being on TV, always thought I was mad max material...........mmmm mad max 4 with skylines instead of clapped out fords and vw's. Seriously though, any good coverage is positive for us.
