  1. Good thing about a personal loan is you can decide what insurance policy you want.........you don't really get a choice with car finance.
  2. I live in the digital age..........the tyre gauge will likely never be used sorry. The gauge in my glovebox is digital, even the gauge I use on my compressor is digital. I can give it back if you want? I like the stickers!!! The lanyard is being used on my mini dumper [a site dumper or 2.5 tonne tip truck sort of] cos the key can fall out of it if your not careful.
  3. I use a z418 on my sandwich plate..............so find out from the plate supplier!!! Also running a cooler and temp and pressure gauges etc
  4. Got mine, thanks Prank. Not sure if its worth the hassle you are putting yourself through [pressure, packaging and mailing etc]....but thanks!!! And yeah, I'd pay for a hat/cap but not for quite the same reasons as Robzilla. Maybe next years?
  5. Isn't this stuff just glycol on glycol? So in theory you could just glug in all green stuff from any manufacturer? contrails.free.fr/temp/NPG+_MSDS.PDFCached
  6. I cannot unsee this............why oh why did I look!!!
  7. Ha, never looked, never needed to cos my timing light has its own battery source.
  8. I thought it was mechanical? ie no 12 volts? I would think that the length is critical anyway and the only solution is a new spring?
  9. You will need a timing light to start with. I prefer the ones that take batteries.....no induced signal from the car battery that way. But I use mine on lots of different vehicles including motorbikes, so others will have other opinions on that. Plus the R33's have the battery in the boot so.....hard to use one that doesn't have its own power anyway. Most youtube clips show the ones that hook up to your cars battery. Car has to be warm and idling at 650 rpm, every mark is 5 degrees, you need to be at the 4th mark [three gaps] for RB25, 5th mark for GTR, [check the sticker on your bonnet, should have the degrees you need], loosen the three bolts holding the CAS and turn this to adjust the timing - only loosen as much as you need, it shouldn't be flopping. Turn off car, tighten bolts on CAS, start car and check. Kick back and have a beer!!! Long version............google or youtube.
  10. alternator bearings? A/C compressor bearings? water pump?
  11. There is a thread on here about them. A guy in UK was making them as well. I think the jury was out!!! http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/270049-spline-drive-oil-pump-gears.html
  12. Not bad if you can fix it for less than $5K you would be ahead. Buy a front cut and go hard!!!
  13. Question is then.........is it fuel/spark related or a clutch/drivetrain issue? CV's, TPS, CAS, clutch, axle, diff - its hard to keyboard tune I think!
  14. And yeah start low, you can always go higher.........
  15. Not playing up with lights on vs lights off is it?
  16. No idea really, but if you can buy a good one complete for $10K and a shitty one for $5K then a written off one should be sub $2-3K. Make an offer and negotiate. Start at a price you can easily afford and then go up from there.
  17. You want torque did you say????
