and when u get the old turbo off just weld a nut onto the stud [if there isn't enough for an extractor]. The heat plus the nut will let you back it out, then you can sell the old turbo.

Better if your fuel is low, helps to find the clip and release the slide bracket etc. Plus you can put your hands down in the tank and check how the sock and pump are sitting afterwards. I had a Nismo pump that got louder and louder over time. Swapped it for a Walbro - one of the new type turbine ones- and can't hardly hear it.

Very few vehicles [cars, bikes, trucks etc] outlast a generation. So what was valuable in your time may be just another vehicle in 10-20 years. You see this all the time, everyone thinks they have an absolute desirable collectors item and they do while their generation is alive but as they get older and/or die out the next generation coming through aren't even remotely interested - well maybe a few, but not the majority. So mod away!!!!

^^^ completely agree with this..........you get a bad batch or use some 95 [some servo's don't carry 98] then you will need some margin.

Given the stamp duty and all the other stuff you pay when trading cars and re registering/insuring in your name etc etc etc Selling and buying again isn't really practical just for an ECU option. Just get a PFC/Link/Haltec/Adaptronic etc and keep what you have. Plus better the devil you know.......use the money you save on more mods!!!!

Be hard to take it 4wding up a bush track, or spotlighting 'roos and foxes!!!! When 4wding or considering a purchase of one always go with the masses, that way skills, knowledge, spares, and aftermarket support is on your side when stuck in Broome!!! I'd hate to smack a 'roo or even a sparrow in that Bentley, hands would be in pocket dragging out dollars you don't have for a repair you wouldn't be happy with. But if you don't intend getting past Penrith and you think a driveway is a dirt road then save your $$$ and buy a Honda Oddyssey.

Need more doof!!! The Merc driver also has a few other things going for him: Its quiet inside He doesn't have ICE, he has a surround sound hi fidelity integrated entertainment system He can't here the motor He can't hear road noise There is no vibration He has no squeaks or rattles And did I mention....its quiet inside If you get a quiet exhaust system, you will still have all the above..........but now you will be able to hear it!!!
