  1. If you take your dash out, replace your heater hoses at the same time.
  2. ....R33 's have their battery in the boot so the boot mount is the best option.
  3. At 100km/h the engine/turbo noise and general tyre/road noise kills any quiet time you might get anyway!!! Well it does in mine. If I want to drive and listen to music the volume knob gets a work out!!!
  4. maybe the spitronics spat the dummy?
  5. Only advice I have is........don't buy an all metal one, I replaced my Razo alloy one with a Nismo leather one cos in the summer the knob would get that hot it would take your skin off!!!! I used to have a tanned kangaroo's ball bag that I'd slip over it to stop the heat, but it meant having to do that every time and that didn't happen.
  6. For a cheap intermediate step you could change the exhaust housing to a 1.06, for a mean street setup, but eventually a bigger turbo.
  7. What are the fuses and the relay being used by??? Did the car have an alarm system in it once and now its been removed?
  8. Tomei make drop in where you can still use your VCT, or last time I looked they did.

  10. Haven't checked the cooling pro one. But not the correct radiator:Yeah was more of a heads up............you can find yours by looking harder or asking.
  11. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Cooling-Pro-Alloy-Radiator-Nissan-Skyline-R33-R34-Stagea-RB25-RB26-/131697874597?hash=item1ea9ce16a5:g:KYkAAOSw5dNWktrZ for the money I'd be rethinking!!! You can get 2.5 of these ones for the price of a Koyo.
  12. Will it be similar to this system? https://www.thetileapp.com/?gclid=CMj68Z7wls0CFUoJvAodwQgOSA&gclsrc=aw.ds Which is cheap for what it is!!!
  13. I think it comes down to intended purpose.........
  14. Have a look at youtube, there is probably a vid on doing it..........its very very similar for most cars if you can't find one for a GTT.
  15. The other downside is you could end up with unburnt WMI in the combustion chamber when you park it.............. If you set it higher - like 6psi - as you cruise home/up your street you will not use any WMI and your chamber will be dry when you park it. And I'd be totally surprised if you see any difference in performance at all from the higher setting.
  16. Not where I am............E85 only exists in the metro areas, its much easier to carry a 2 litre bottle of WMI for topping up the tank than it is carrying a 200 litre drum of E85. But you are right, WMI doesn't quite produce the power gains that E85 does.
  17. I bought a motorbike as a registerable wreck..........motor is fine, frame was Ok but trued anyway. I had to buy headlight and gaurds and seat etc and am using wheels from another model but its going to be a good bike once done. So not all registerable wrecks are a disaster. the only thing the OP has to complain about is he got charged full and not a discount price!!!
  18. I'd like to shout the bassist a drink!!!
  19. Wow thats early - 1psi - using it when its not really needed IMO. I will have to look at my jet, the kit came with two but from memory I think I'm using the lower one which could have been 375???? But will confirm and get back to you on it.
  20. Will take 800rwkw easy..........................for 20 minutes maybe 25-30 if your lucky!!! Seriously have a look at the dyno thread. plenty on there with standard boxes making good power.
  21. TBH I got a dyno tune with basic WMI settings then I went away and played with it. I was looking at lowering knock and seat of pants increasing power [no wide band or anything flash]. I then settled on settings and went back and got the car tuned again. The shop I went to knew what it was and what it did but didn't really know the best settings or how to improve it on the dyno.......just too much going on for them I guess. So atm its 8psi and 45% and full WMI by 14 and 75% and I've been running it for 6 years now.
  22. To dig up an old thread............ Is anyone using Liberty E10??? its quoted at 95 octane. I use it in my shitbox 4wd and its OK. But I haven't used in the Line yet and generally always reach for the 98 - but its like 20-30 cents/litre dearer. And before everyone says go E85, I can't, the servo is in a neighbouring town, not in mine. But I do know that Caltex also sells an E10 but it has no octane label and I haven't really checked it out. BTW I searched and this was the newest thread I could find on the topic.
