  1. Serious apologies......I don't have a coppermix!!!! I have a Nismo GMax multi plate.Part No. 3002A RS591. So I now look like [and feel like] an idiot and serves me right for not looking before diving in. In my defence, I kept the box but this is the first time ZI have looked at it for years, and I'm getting older so memory isn't what it used to be.
  2. I'm waiting for the next series of Classic Car [Quentin and Jodie] to hit the screens...liked it much better than Top Gear. I did watch TG quite often to start with but got bored with the Jeremy's bully boy attitude to everything that wasn't about him!!! So haven't watched it for the last 3-4 years, last episode I saw was the southern states road trip one where they nearly got shot, funny but so stupid I couldn't believe it. And no, I'm not religo, just never got back to watching it, maybe cricket or footy was on at the same time after that??? So for me meh...........time has passed TG by!!! Get over it and move on.
  3. Only for lazy's, novices, and Jabba the Hut!!!
  4. http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/464844-nismo-super-coppermix-single/
  5. Might have to get custom 'TITANIC' number plates now!!! At least you got the pollution level right for a hot import
  6. Better charge your phone!!!!
  7. Mine clinks and clunks heaps.......but is honest goodness when you accelerate and the car goes where you want it to!!! I will check my box clutch at lunch when I go home, my memory may not be as good as I thought [i am getting older lol].
  8. Or you could use a pillow......jus sayin'
  9. And Chev have been rethinking the Camaro is well so we may yet see it in Aus......then we will all be able to buy 'new age' american muscle if we can afford it. And there is always the Camry for us poor downtrodden plebs. But we all be driving Tesla's by then!!!
  10. A Nismo clutch box came in the boot along with the Nismo Diff box [and some other its and pieces] both had the original clutch and diff centre in them [long sold] and some other stuff. I kept the boxes for shed cred!!! So my powers of deduction were that the parts ended up in my Line.....but anything is possible.
  11. What price you end up paying? Just for reference, it was ebay so obviously it can change.
  12. I have a coppermix single and 300rwkw. Its fine with that. But the clutch is a bitch to live with, its either on or off. On rainy days I avoid a set of lights that have an uphill approach cos I tend to slip and spin. Unintentional two lane sideways take offs are not out of the question. And I've been living with it for over 10 years so its not like I Don't know the car, but I am still learning
  13. Still rear wheel drive........for the price!!!
  14. No, I agree. But that could be one reason why so many popped at the start, turbo's and sand. Bad tunes can't account for all of them, just too much engineering and modification going on to think that they can't tune as well?? They rev it in the 'pits', they drive to the start line, and then go ballistic. Can you imagine the dust at an event like that
  15. You have turbo's, you have big power motors, you have sand, you don't have any air filters.............what are the chances???
  16. Butterflys............ R+R, a/m BOV, fuel starvation, ==== get it tuned and sorted, and get a garage that does Skylines to do it.
  17. I thought that there would be a tutorial on this but I just went looking and [although my search words could have been wrong] I couldn't find one. If you reach down into the tank you will feel the long semi flat metal bracket that the pump is mounted on. Follow this back up to the top and you should also feel the clip. The bracket has a part of it bent in so that it clips into a locator as it slides into place. So you need to pull up on the bracket and at the same time pull the clip part out so that it unlocks. Once you've done one its easy . Hope that helps. Pics might also help a bit, your looking at the back of the bracket here.
  18. Arrgh........the old ever reliable flux capacitor revamped, or was that the energy polariser??? Wonder if Brocky had one fitted in the Daytona?? Bargain at $69 as well!!!
  19. More retiree's than a lawn bowls meeting!!! Lots of $$$$ expiring............. Prob get donor cars from the airport car park.
  20. Time to take the lower cover off.........and watch the missing socket fall out
  21. Wasn't sprayed with TAC2 or something was it? A coolant leak spraying onto the belt??? Seems unusual. Time to replace for peace of mind.
