  1. Should check your timing with a light anyway because no mark will get it back to spot on. A small movement on the CAS is big in degrees, you could be up to 10' out? And that makes a huge difference as well, even 5 is easily noticeable.
  2. The people down the end of my street have a green house.(long pause).............personally I thought it looked better when it was painted light grey. Then again I always thought that one horsepower needed one bale of hay, but thats meadow hay, if its lucerne hay then you might get two hp. But maybe thats out of a Shetland??? I can't remember
  3. Only all his life!!!
  4. But that argument only holds true if you are not using multiple fills like on a longer road trip.
  5. burnout is when you feel depressed and can't go on..............you were just pushed way too far and now your physically and mentally exhausted............bit like this thread really.
  6. Nazi's will be Nazi's.......ain't no other way!!!
  7. Sydney Kid had a good thread on here where you could calculate your WG size............its a few years old but still valid. Found it: http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/52509-external-wastegate-q/?hl=%2Bsydney+%2Bkid+%2Bwastegate#entry1039323
  8. Not bad at all, we all do them all the time. Its the only way to launch a Skyline or a Silvia. And yeah flat shift is easy as, wait till valve bounce and pop it. Even third if your car is tough enough [c'mon u know it is!!!]. And finally, the safest way to sit it on the spot is to keep doing said burnouts till your clutch shreds. Then it will sit on that spot for as long as you want.......or until tow truck comes anyway.
  9. 96-98 RON, 300rwkw GT3076 with WMI kit blah blah, I went to the GC and back [round trip of from memory 1700km] with mainly highway driving but also had a day in Sydney and a few drives around the GC and I averaged just under 9.8l/100km. But your motor is a lazy straight 6 until you boost it. At 110km/hr it is just in the brink of boosting and hard drinking - good actually, I know when I speed because the turbo starts whistling at me!!!! And I kept a notebook for it, just so I could check, haven't really done it since - my burning curiosity was sated. OP your fuel figures are crap, get a proper tune.
  10. yeah, without pulling it all apart or modifying it somehow you just live with it.. I would check that your breather hose to the filler neck and your charcoal filter are ok, but not much else u can do.
  11. ^^^^ so how is your missus??? I see those geetarrr lessons are paying divdends!!!
