  1. Yeah But for the most of us a V10 or V12 are out of reach and or impractical, (BTW V10's Suck)... The Boxer is not bad too... but the I6 is gooooood.
  2. Quick Q' What about a GT-T and remove the turbo, or would that violate the NO TURBO Rule, I don't know?
  3. I'll ask the QUESTION for all those like me on there P's; what are the differences between the RB N/A's and the RB Turbos? also this i think is covered in another topic but what are the costs and rewards of turbo-ing later. Unless some one is hiding something from me the main engines we have are the 2.0L (N/A Only), the 2.5L Turbo & N/A and the 2.6L Twin Turbo. We should focus on the 2.5L (or cc). Other than the Turbo What are the differences? Things like fuel line size (if you can put what the N/A's are and the turbos). Also it's Important we put what car it was in IE a R31, R32, R33, R34. I'm trying to establish what is the better option, buying a N/A and then in a year or so upgrading it to a turbo. Also some advice, I'm looking at a R34 25GT-X 4-Door (if i can find one) for its AWD, if not just a R34 GT-25 PS Some one might like to redo this once we finish as a sticky.
  4. What about the 4-Door, Can some one sum it all up... IE. R34 GT-* (2 Door) = R34 GT-* (4 Door) = R34 GT-t, GTR Ect. (2-Door) = R34 GT-t, GT-X (4-Door) = I Guess the Q I'm asking is are the 2 & 4 Doors the same; also are there any differences between RWD and AWD?
  5. Not an engineer thank good for that, I don't have the necessary attention to detail; (if this were a plain we would all be dead); yeah it all could be found on Wiki; however it doesn't change the love for the inline 6. Yeah ok if you take the fact that there are 4 engine strokes there's only really only about 32° of overlapping power, however it was given as a figure to compare it to a I4 (180° of power)... its a bad idea to quote out of context, that is how facts are miss represented and figures skewed. Dose any one know of forums devoted to the I6, I mean there are plenty devoted to V8's and shit... but I haven't herd of any for the I6.
  6. People, why are company killing the best things they make, the Inline 6! no primary or secondary imbalances, Overlapping Toque and power delivery not every 180 like those I4's... but 60° of overlap! Just looking to hear the love for some of the best engines ever! Straight-6
  7. Whats the 2J?
  8. I'm relatively new to the skyline seen; however I'm also most certain I have found the one I want. The Ms has said it needs 4-Doors, so there go the GT-R's also I don't want to inherit too many problems with the car so R34's only and finally she can't drive a turbo, Dam New P Plate laws and cop-magnet car !!! So what am I left with 25 GT, GT-X, GT-V or the GT. (let me know if I've missed anything out). I've found a R34 GT-V that has the same specs as the GT-T Less the Turbo. It's done about 75,000 K's and is a manual and is $15,000 (I think due to the lack of turbo I would offer him $12,000-$14,000). First dose the car look worth the $$$. My second Question is for when She is off her P's in about a year or 2 what to do to up the performance, should I try and find the 2.6 L double overhead cam, electronically fuel-injected, Twin turbo... and drop one of those bad boys in and call it a day... or Get aftermarket turbo exhaust ect... or just use the stock Turbo ect from a RB25DET? I'm not looking to spend a small fortune only like 3-8G total on performance mods but I'm also looking for Value... all I'm looking for is something a little better than a GT-T, a Falcon, and a Commodore. Something that's not boring, a little impressive but not crazy. like this >> <<
