  1. Nice solution! Did you need to reinforce the foundation footings prior to installing the lift? What brand of lift is that?
  2. Here's a few more....
  3. MD of a Multi-National with very long hours.…..just have a passion for nice cars . Without sounding like a total w*nker....here's a few pics, garage & backyard....& my golf handicap is crap.
  4. Fully agree. DMS will bench read/flash the ECU locally. FVD, Softronic can read/flash the ECU via the port under the dash. Unfortunately RS Tuning do not offer this. Yes it is an inconvenience and this method also attracts import duties. But RS is regarded as the #1 Porsche Tuner.
  5. Checked out your website....you have some very nice upgrades for the R35. Pulled the ECU earlier this week, it's now in transit to RS Tuning (Reinhold Schmirler) in Germany. Should have the ECU & hardware in Melbourne 2-3 weeks.
  6. Have homes in VIC & QLD, but both P-Car's are in VIC at present.
  7. Sorry guys, was planning to pick up a R35, but got distracted & purchased a GT2. RS Tuning package should arrive soon. Hopefully an R35 some day soon.
  8. Difficult to beat Medfin rates at the moment.....next best is 6.4%
  9. If money was an issue & I did not want to spend AUD 400K+ on a 997 GT2….then yes a low km 996TT would be great option. Add a few components (Europipe exhaust, LWFW/Sachs clutch, RS mounts, X73 suspension, KKK Hybrid Turbo’s….including 997 GT2 compressor wheel, VP 109 race gas tune)…..then you have one quick package at half the 997 GT2 cost. Here’s a pic of the standard K16 Vs the Hybrid. I have ridden in several highly tuned Race Pace GTR’s….they are also great value.

    R35 Vs Ducati

    Thanks for the post....great vid
  11. Based on your comments I guess you have never driven a well sorted P-Car. I run GT3 lower control arms to get more camber.....the sweet spot setting for the camber is about -2.9 front and -2.5 rear with about -1.8mm rear toe and about 0 front toe. I think some GT2's got a bad reputation due to the fact that when these cars came off the boat and ended up at dealerships, they were often out of spec on the alignments. But I am looking forward to having both the R35 & 996TT in my garage.
  12. I would take a 997 GT3 (prefer 997 GT2) over a Z-Tune GTR every time (the Z-Tune GTR is a great package, but over rated)
  13. Added these 6 piston Monoblocks (4 piston on rear) this week. Good Luck using this P-Car as a brake marker PS....GTR coming within 12 months as DD. (but keeping the 996TT)
  14. I'll take both
  15. A few from today (Friday)
  16. Nice recommendation.....buy it in Oregon with No sales tax !!
  17. I plan to replace my M3 next year (I'll be keeping the 996TT). I have looked at several options...GT3RS, another M3, C63, but the GT-R has the looks, performance & reasonable price point. The GT-R will be used as my daily driver, I spend a large amount of time OS so it will clock up only 5-8,000 km's/yr. Was also considering buying & keeping a USA based car, either a near new Gallardo Superleggera or GT3RS. The prices we pay in Australia are outrageous....I looked at 2 very low km 430's last week each asking between USD 145-155K.
  18. Thought I'd start posting here given my future purchase.
  19. Re Garage, thanks. The 996TT has a few mods......very happy with it, the M3 is an Individual package.....great daily driver. Plan to pick up a new GT-R late 2009. Will be back at SEMA on Friday...will get a few more GT-R pics.
  20. Only the girl.....
  21. Hi Guys, My first post here....thought I'd share a few pics from SEMA today. Enjoy Mark
