anyone know places that specifically work on gearboxes in melbourne? i saw one on settlement road in thomastown but thats it.. any recommendations

i was doing 2 u turns today.. and it made a KRRR noise.. idont know what it was.. but it was when it was full steered right..it was raining today so it could be that then i tried again and it didnt happen.. anyone know what it is?

Hi, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt.. this is only the speedometer area.. not the others.. it works okay.. but when im driving it flashes.. ( probably cos of the bumps<< anyone know what it is? and do i need to tighten or do i need new dash lights?

its very small eiko.. i think its my power windows, because i have to press up on my drivers side like 10 times before it works.. :| any idea what the problem is

Okay.. it was ticking in my gts-t r33.. and since it was at night. i had my headlights on, while it was ticking (i had to put my ear on the door to hear it) the lights loss a bit of power.. so it was like.. high power/low power ticking.. anyone know what it is o_O"

the car works ok.. it was the 2nd time it happened... it rarely happens..

Yo i stalled my car today.. but clutch was completely in.. and normally when i stall the lights come up on dash board.. this time it didnt.. Any1 know what it is and how much to fix?

Hi, im about to do my first mod on my car and i want to do An Intake, I've got a Pod filter but i dont think its good enough. Most people are saying "cold air intake" is the best. can someone tell me why? also, can you name other types of intakes or suggest whats the best for me? price ranging from undeR 1000$ Thanx

i go to calder park and i only do drags. :S and i dont corner @ high speed. and just cos im p plater doesnt mean i cant handle a pissy turbo, my mates non turbo xr6 is faster than my turbo.. turbo aint much difference, just a nice dose.. power wise its jackall to me.. i've driven a ferrrari.. thats real power. and i cant drive that. but turbo? please you guys make it sound like its the craziest shizz ever

I've got an exhaust and turbo timer & pod filter and rims for my r33.. I'm looking to do mods for PERFORMANCE, i don't really wanna get a Front mount intercooler cos it'll be cop b8 as im driving gts-t on my red p's (Lol) Whats the next mod i should do? I wanna start modding my car heaps so can someone give me a list (in order) and the price range it'll set me back?

Hi, just got a few questions .. First off, i heard that "Redline" Gearbox Oil is the 'best', now my mate is saying it makes no difference, can anyone give me the the facts for this? and which "redline" gearbox oil to use in my r33 gtst? (I want a very smooth gear change) 2nd, my 4th gear makes that crunch noise when im changing gears slowly, and sometimes with other gears, is it my gearbox or is it cos i change gears slowly? 3rd, very nub question, but whats the difference between transmission oil & gearbox oil? o_O i'm pretty sure they're the same.. 4th. I tend to scrape my exhaust when im going up a hill, now, i went on the side and it scrapes, but sometimes i go straight it doesnt? Going straight is for the low front bumper not the exhaust right? 5th, Does a heavy Clutch make the gearbox harder to use? 6th, apparantly 'fog lights' are illegal when theres no fog.. this is victoria, true or false? 7th, are you allowed to tint back windows darker than the legal limit (vic)? Apparantly its just go to be the front.. 8th, what engine oil should i use for my car? GTS-t '96 series 2. with 110,000. 9th, how often should i change my brake fluid? 10th, when replacing your intercooler to another one (a better one of course, eg r34 intercooler), approx how mch kw's it adds? 11th, When crunching gears makin the "KRrrk" sound, does it f*k ur gearbox if u do it too mch?

trust me, i've tried.. i've done it soft/hard/ in every direction, and so has 6 of my mates.. they all sed the car doesnt have enough ' power ' but i believe thats not true, they're non turbo cars all rip up and they can do it.. i believe to know whats wrong with my car.. thats the main point of the thread, is there like a wheel contrl that stops the car from accelerating while braked.

i do it in my skyline r33 all the time... apparantly my friend said its bad for my car.. but i prety mch flat-stick everytime i go past a stop sign.. *its because my car exhaust is rly loud and the only way to make it sound less loud is to flat stick.. thats jus how i drive . lol. its hard to explain.
