Not true, most TPPDO policies (Third Party Property Damage) also cover up to $5000 worth of damage caused by an uninsured third party.... so you can be partially protected... but if they have insurance and are jerkoffs you are screwed, don't be an idiot, get comp.

Solution for their sweating

So in the front wheel archs there is plastic guards that go from mid top front of the arch down and under to the front bumper to block water/mud... They suddenly started scuffing the wheels and made a werid dragging sound, so after looking I found that these had the plastic screws that held it up break... Very random, have some new ones now, was curious if anyone else had this happen too? Maybe the previous owner hit speed bumps too hard in Japan or something? I've never scuffed the front bumper myself or dropped very far from bumps...

I've seen that Glass Plexin stuff and it works a treat, easier to clean and you can wax over it for pretty factor. My concern about it is though that it forms a layer on your paint that can crack and to repair it you just apply more... if it cracks though, being bonded to your paint, I would have thought the paint could crack with it. ATM I use meguires clay + tech wax.... comes up purrty
