lol Alf, your reply to Invonin is my comment you are replying to... Can I stereotype and refer to you as a bigot idiot? Nobody listens to an idiot. For the record though there is no mention of past or present tense in my comment Moving up the company means I can change brand (but stay in the same role then continue moving up) and move to Perth as we have like 12 different subcompanies/brands =P Perth is nice because its like goldcoast and Brissy mashed together =D The music festivals that are held in Brisbane are of course the same size as anywhere else but the venues are great as are the quality of person there. Mind you it also has the fringe sports too like Ultimate Disc and La Crosse which can keep you outta trouble if you enjoy them!

By forcing them to check it they can see when it expires or if its paid. They cannot fine you if you say its in the mail and you've contacted dept of transport, because they can check that.

Seductive Skylines

Well I started off with a 180sx.... got into drifting and wanted a bigger car... thought R33 was nice aggressive car... bought one later -
Another generalisation... kinda makes ur position bunk Alf. I agree with you Ivonin... I know there are better places, but much worse ones in Oz... Once I've moved up enough in the company I'm moving to Perth =D

lol Alf I never have problems with 3G, whether it be roaming from Brisbane to Toowoomba, in Brisbane or Toowoomba... its a bit of a generalisation to say that about the Valley in general, so many hotties come to the Family of a Saturday night, not to mention doing coke with delicious backpackers at Birdees, maybe you ended up in the Beat once and have been broken since then =P
-
Easiest way to avoid this situation is not have the expired sticker on, you CAN keep it on but even if you are waiting for the mail its ok to not have a sticker... for example if you just bought a car that has been rego'd but no sticker has arrived before you purchase... This also forces them to check your rego on the database

lol Alf, I used to be a big playboy in Brisbane, and I rove on the internet no matter where I am... 3G is a wonderful thing. If you don't have many choices I say again your finger is missing the pulse. Predator, if you hit the city you will find lots of young people pub chubs.... come to the valley, Family, Empire, Press Club, Met is ok too, Fringe, now lets not forget the most classy Cloudland.... mind, you do have to be a fan of HOUSE, ELECTRO etc to enjoy these venues =P The thing I love about the traffic is I can drive quickly in it in Brisbane, no one hestitates they just go... I also always seem to find my way around even if I am randomly lost, I eventually find a main road and away I go...

I think ur hanging around with the wrong kind of people if you find the people bad... As for NYE and the nightlife... if you live on inthemix.com you will find not much else going on in sydney ALL the time... if you have a finger on Brisbane's pulse... you'll find the action

Maybe, I dunno like the turbo is hot hot hot. The only time I've done the drive and stopped (turn off the car) it wouldn't start for a few tries (didn't let it cool). BUt its just strange, drive to Brisbane, hit the Ipswich road 60km area and any time I come to a stop it acts the dog until I've been driving that speed for 20mins (til I get to the north side). I'll give the flush a try though.

Previous to a service I got a squeak as a belt moved on cool start, and if I accelerated prior to warm up it sounded bad... I normally warm it up for 5 mins or until the oil guage is under that middle line it sits above just after start... doesn't run rich when driving and I have a 100km zone out front so its gotta be ready to go
-
I've run a few cars with BP Ult and noticed a difference in performance, its depends on the car... with turbo'd cars I guess its just common sense what to run in it. Mazda 929 1985 model, better economy and power 1995 Falcon, better economy 180sx ran premium once emergency lol straight to BP Ult servo

So I noticed after driving from Brisbane to Toowoomba that my car almost stalls... Basically its a 2 hour drive at 100km/hr and when you slow down to 60kms its fine but if I stop at lights or the revs drop real low the car shudders like its about to stall... Is this a coolant issue or a sign that I need to get that FMIC already?? I drive about 30mins at 100km/hr twice daily and it does not do that so its only on those long drives, its almost at 110,000 on the clock, last service was 100,000

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ti...l=transmittance 5% or 15 or 18%? that is just moronic! I hope when it comes to insurance claims time the assessor sees your windows and declines your claim due to illegal modifications which affect vision.... In Queensland its 35% transmittance too... 2008 Mods guide http://www.transport.qld.gov.au/resources/...r_vehicles2.pdf Just remember with front tint you can't have the tint lower than the top swing part of the arcs of your wiper blades.... -----NSW------ http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/dow.../vsi03_rev3.pdf as of 2003 guide in NSW the tinting on front window can be no lower than 10% of the windscreen, this tint is max 25% transmittance All other windows can be up to 35% transmittance -----VIC------ http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/NR/rdonlyre...E621/0/VSI2.pdf In VIC all windows can be transmittance 35% except windscreen which is 30% in the section there is goes into details of loopholes... the 70% is a safety suggestion... like not smoking....

I love Brisbane I'm 25 now and lived roughly 21 years of my life in Brisbane. This might shock some of you but I grew up until about the age of 13 and had not seen ANY race aside from caucasian. Not that I am racist. I moved away at 18 for uni then back then away lol.... Holidayed in almost every capital city except Darwin and I love Brisbane, mind you Perth feels very similar if you mixed Brisbane with the Gold Coast. Similar mindsets, no one is in a rush, good culture. Perth from above, and on ground, is what Brissy should have been so easy to get around as the entire city is thatched with square highway cross=sections. I live in Toowoomba now and everytime I goto Brisbane I always get choked by the smog, its pretty bad these days, but the night life and all the action makes it worth it! I like the northside a lot better than the south even though I've lived on both, race gangs and robberies put me off the southside. Hate the hills of the westside, plus way too many uni bums. My major problem is the cost of living down there these days, plus all the southerners that move up here and main roads has no idea what they are doing!

Anyone from here going? Got a pretty decent lineup this year. Sucks the ticket prices have gone up considering the infamy of the artists hasn't...
