  1. Wont it mess with my boost. Currently I'm assuming the actuator bails at 12psi then my gizzmo holds the rest. Wont either my gizzmo be useless, or I boost higher than my tune if I swap actuators?

  5. Had xforce dump on standard Turbo. When I changed Turbo avo had to mod the dump pipe to suite the garret hotside. So it is an edited xforce item. Im definately running. 82 garret hot side.

Pre intercooler piping size: 2.5 or 2.75 (just fits through factory holes under airbox) Post intercooler piping size: as above Full exhaust specs: xforce 3" Turbo back. Stainless. Highflowed cat (3") Dyno Chart with AFRs plotted: - Full Ignition Map: - Base timing: - Type of ECU: Link g4 Nah 120. I got a reply SMS.
  9. Its a avo airbox. Like the custom ones u see in the corner. Steel. Pod inside leading to front of Turbo. Steel piping.
  10. I have answers to all those except the ones that are obtained from the dyno run. Af ratio. Timings etc.

  15. So if I'm hitting say 17 or so psi by say 4100. That would be reasonable?
  16. Ok. 3rd. Foot to floor from 2500. 5psi at approximately 3100. 10psi at approximately 35-3600. Didn't go further. This is according to my gizzmo. Hmm. very different to what dyno says.
  17. I know all dynos are different. But it FEELS like.it builds and should be coming in like 500 or so rpm less. I know the.guys at avo very well. On a personal level. And they wouldn't intentionally take me.for a ride. I might have a chat to status. Because I don't want my dyno sheet to look nice. I want it to FEEL better driving. Avo can make my synopsis look.nice if they want as you all know just fiddling with ramp rates etc. I'm.bout to drive it. Dyno was done in 3rd. Should.I try 3rd?
  18. It was more of a "that's the way the turbo s, we will see if can gears help. But it wont shave too much" can sub par actuators display issues like I'm seeing? Lazy boost response etc?

  21. If I can't come here and ask 100 questions a night what's the point of joining this community? I walke.in today. That's how o got the chart. They said they will try and adjust timing. Is it a general concensus to go to garret HD actuator.
  22. when setting up the quote he specificaly said he will use a avo one "same thing" what's HD? High def?
  23. Lee Wilson. The owner raced his own r33. They have tuned HEAPS it's like 40% Subaru, 20% skylines 20% Holden's/fords. The odd porches, rescently s couple r35s etc.make up the rest. Full 3" Turbo back. Coilpacks. Cai. Gizzmo boost controller. Sards 850cc sidefeeds. Link ecu. Fmic. Entire engines been checked as I had a couple issus. Crank angle sensor was stuffed. Then there was an issue with the head. That was taken off and sent away and fixed. Everything else was checked. They had it for 10 weeks. I'm worried about them using an avo actuator.over a garret one. They already said they don't want to push further until I have internals.
