  1. there 18x8in +30 offset wheels (l have a set off a 350z lying around somewhere here) they fit easily and wont rub. l think 350gt rims look slightly different then the 350z rims though.
  2. Hey thanks for the comments, the photos dont do it justice either. sorry for the late replys to the pms but lm not interested in swaps l already have another car thats why l gotta sell the skyline. also the car is also on carsales $18900 now, l will also update the photos soon with some better shots. Cheers Joey
  3. yeah the lines get long sometimes but wasent to bad on fri night exept when the ae86 rolled it didnt get to see the guy but the rolla wasnt looking good.
  4. l wasnt sure how to edit but l forgot to say that it also has a aftermarket diff(brand unknown its fairly tight l have been told that its most probaly a 1.5way) that was in it when it was imported also a hks boost guage and factory 6 cd stacker cheers Joey but l can edit this post ......
  5. 1999 R34 GTT turbo,4door sedan, 5spd manual, 76000km, dark blue, Nismo LMGT4 rims(rays engineering) 18x8 1/2in and 18x9 1/2in with near new tyres, hks coilovers, standard engine apart from kakimoto cat back exhaust and KnN panel filter, dark tint $20,000 contact: Joey 0422799689 [email protected]
  6. hey lve got hks hyper d coilovers in my r34 and lm sure there not damper adjustable, but check inside the top of the shaft is there like a allen key fitting(very small inside the top of shaft) some other coilovers adjust there. As for the shaft sticking out you may have a problem there, it looks like the pillow ball tops have crapped out(its hard to tell in the pic), but go get them checked at a suspension specialist to make sure(dosent look safe to me). the pillow ball can be repaired if thats the problem. hope that helps.
  7. hey mate l dont know if anyone told you but you cant fast the australian compliance vin which you have written, you need the japanese vin, may have to ask the owner for it. Sorry mate if you get the other vin then it can be done cheers
  8. on my old R33 l used bolt on hub centric 10mm spacers they came with special flatter and tapered wheel nuts so they sat flush, l also didnt need to cut any stud off, but my rays rims(18x9 +20, gtr rear guards on gtst) had quite large dished sections where the studs went. But trust me l never felt safe driving on them it was always playing on my mine. ; will never use them again l just got the right offset this time round. And yes l would highly recomend using locktight(threadlocker) on the inside wheel nuts.
  9. yeah sure thing, lm doing the same conversion. l will post part numbers and prices on mon night. I have the a/c fascia part number 25570-AA002 (series 2 trim) cost appox $60-$70 the brackets l wouldnt recommend getting from nissan as they are over $100 each, lm currently trying to get them elsewhere.(but l will get exact price) l will get the part numbers and prices for the double din trim in both series 1(black) and 2(silver) and gearshift surround if you wanna update to series 2(silver trims). also the triple guage trim if you want to get rid of screen. if there is anything else let me know.
  10. the coilpacks are a common problem, does it miss fire under load, say accelerating and does it start to do it around 5000rpm. if yes then l can safely say it is most likely coilpacks, if not try swaping in a known good set of coils and then try and if that fixs it buy some spitfires. Coils can be tested with a multimeter but it wont show up a intermitant fault like skyline coils have, because they have a problem with sealing and the spark jumps out the side of the coil in stead of tracking down the plug. You can try taking the spark plug cover off then try driving the car at night and when it does it, look at your coils while the car is running and see if you can see any spark flashing around(sometimes you can see it in the dark). If yes get new coils. hope that helps
  11. yeah its a series 2
  12. it sounds like it may be your coils starting to go. you may need to look into that. by vibrating is the car surging with a strange exhaust noise(ie popping/misfire)?
  13. No1 is the variable cam timing solinoid, probably not good to have loose connection. No2 is idle air control valve (aac) it should only effect idle No3 is your throttl position sensor(tps) they have 2x connectors only 1x has wires. so the blank connector is normal. The only other thing l can think of is with that plenum did the wires for the tps need to be extended, if so it may be a wiring problem with the wire extentions. hope that helps
  14. lve got the same pop up screen in my car and am currently changing it all over to the normal a/c controls and triple gauge. they dont just swap over as they are different widths.I ordered a new climate control trim cover for the normal type as it appears to use the same module behind from the nissan dealer l work at. lm going to test it tomorrow and l will let you know as it only cost $60 so it looks like a cheaper option. I will let you know and if it fits l will tel you the part number.
  15. if you are going to be doing some track work l would recomend braided lines it stops the spongy feel you can get from the rubber lines swelling under heavy brakes. Hope that helps.
  16. hub centric spacers are better then normal spacers but still illegal on the street, better off getting correct offset rims for complete peace of mind. Are they bolt on spacers and how wide are they? if not bolt on and just slip on, you will need longer wheel studs so the wheel nut still has enough thread.(lve seen what happens if they dont)
  17. the rear rims on my car are 18x9.5 with a 36mm offset and with the guard lip sitting just above the tyre(not sure on exact height will measure it tomorrow) with 255/35 tyres they just clear the guard but that is without guard rolling. dori34 what offest rims do you have as l have no problem with tyre rubbing? it also depends on what brand of tyres you are using as l have found. Falken appears skinner then others and federals wider.
  18. yeah 245's are over priced l ended up with Federal 255/35/r18(under $400 for 2) and they fit good exact same width as rim and just clear my guards but the falkens that came off (255/35/r18 also) were very stretched they are about 1in skinnier, l dont know why but lm not getting falkens again.
  19. stereo brackets/ mounts needed for R34
  20. Hey All Lve got 18x9.5in rims on the back of my R34 4door and lm due for new tyres, at the moment it has falken 255/35/r18 on them so l was looking at federal tyres we sell at work and there 255/35/r18 are a lot wider (l dont know why) So before l get new tyres l wanted to make sure the new ones werent any wider so the dont rub on my guard (and no lm not getting falkens again) So what tyres do you all use on 18x9.5, what size and what brand? and how stretched are they(the falkens are slightly stretched but l can safely say that 255 federals wont be stretched at all)? Cheers
