Hi All! Time to get rid of some things: First up I have a set of R34 GTT standard rims in practically PERFECT condition. Tires 90% on front and brand new on rear. Everyone knows how hard to find these are. They look wicked on R33s and earlier models or get them as a set to get your car through Regency if you're ever defected and have massive rims hanging out the side of your guards that the inspectors would laugh at (before slapping ANOTHER defect on your ride). $600 = BARGAIN! Next up I have a full R34 GTT exhaust system from dump pipe to tip. The cat-back section has done less than 100kms and I have $360 in receipts for it. I only used it to go through regency and then chucked my HUGE one back on as all champions do. The cat was apparently less than 1000kms old and cost me $70 and the front pipe / dump pipe is standard gear appprox that's done under 100,000kms. Will sell the whole thing complete for $250 = MEGA bargain! Finally I have a series 2 R33 RB25DET motor with receipts from a reputable jap import place. It's a genuine 70,000km engine in excellent condition and comes complete aside from turbo / exhaust manifold / blow-off valve. I sold these bits as I was planning a "project" that involved a BIG turbo. I can chuck in a high mount manifold + external waste gate that I bought separately for $200. The starter motor, power steering pump, AC unit, altenator and some belts are included but in a box as I removed them upon purchase with some vague intention of building a forged bottom end: didn't get around to it and it's about time I sold the bloody thing. ALSO included if desired is a standard computer for said model engine and the loom is even still attached (although damaged, as when I transported the engine the computer plug was hanging out of the trailer on the GROUND and copped about 25kms of ROAD before I realized. BUGGER! $1,500 or $1,700 with high mount manifold / external gate = BARGAIN!! Send me a text on 0402 855 364 to arrange a viewing as I do shift work and am often either sleeping or can't answer my phone. All items located in Gawler East South Australia and I WILL NOT POST ANYTING ANYWHERE so don't ask Catch ya later! Oh and below (if I do this properly) is a photo of the exhaust and rims (coilovers in photo are sold already). I don't have a photo of the engine, but everyone knows what they look like anyway:

Time To Buy My R34 Gt-t! (modding Questions)
Craw replied to Adriantc's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Hey mate, whereabouts are you? I'm in SA & I've recently put my R34 GT-T on car sales.com. It's the white one with LOADED plates. It's got the factory nismo kit, tint, xenons and pretty much all the mods u were after. Running standard turbo with standard boost (around 9psi due to where the actuator hose has been plugged. Also has full trust FMIC kit, HKS suspension, 18 x 10 MAD CST rims, huge stereo blah blah etc etc go have a squiz. Take 21,000 (firm). If your not interested I can still help u with advice. Firstly, it's best to find something with low kms. Remember they need a major service at 100k that'll set u back close to a grand (inc. labour). Try to find something that hasn't been boosted. Once you start boosting standard turbos up past 12psi their lifespan tends to suffer (and you never know how much of a caning the thing has taken). Anything over 200kw at the wheels and you'll be wanting to do a fuel pump, and an "FC" (or something even snazzier like a haltech) is always a good idea, especially when not running standard boost. You can get around these things by f**king around with your fuel pressure regulator, but the versatility offered by an aftermarket ECU is vital for any serious performance gains. Next stage up and you have to do injectors & start looking at bigger turbo kits. Labour is the main killer, so if you're keen on (and capable of) doing work yourself you can literally save a FORTUNE! The only thing you really have to outsource is the tune. Simon at Morpower is a God if you're local. As for prices, a lot of guys on here sell great 2nd hand stuff so keep your eyes peeled for bargains. NEW and for the good stuff, prices will look something like this: Injectors (NEO R34 motors have top feed siemens type making choice more restricted). Nismo make 480s (God knows why), Blitz make 525s, Power Enterprises do a set of 650s and there are a few more even bigger. You can pay up to $1,200 for a set, but anyting under a grand is good for brand name newbys. Ebay are doing quite a few cheapies (run an international search) but I can't comment on the quality. Power FC: hard to find a 2nd handy for a 34, but if you can, don't pay anymore than a grand. New with commander they'll set u back $1,500-$1,700. When doing an ECU change, it's worth upgrading your AFM (if you still need one) to a Z32 model. New these are bullshit but you can get a 2nd handy for around $200 with plug (don't forget to change your AFM selection on your hand-controller if running an FC). Fuel pump: Bosch are well priced but you'll have to do a bit of fiddling around when fitting them. Nismo do one that comes complete with cradle / pick-up etc for $595. It literally slots straight in and is good for 400rwkw. Boost controllers (cheap with a T-piece but they're dodgey) you can get 2nd hand for a coupla hundred. Last stop (aside from getting an aftermarket boost guage) is turbo / manifold / wastegate choice. The list is endless, but if you go much bigger than standard expect the car to get laggier. Price can vary immensely. Nothing beats HKS, but they're not cheap Example: HKS 2835 GT Pro with above mods will give you around 250rwkw @ 1.5bar. Enough to embarrass most things on the road. Much bigger and you'll start taking off like a snail (but nothing feels better than coming on boost and sling-shotting past someone like they're standing still)!! Anything decent will cost u at least a couple of grand, but there are always bargains floating around! Hope this helps -
Hey what are the tyres like on the stock R34 front rims and are the rims themselves in overall good condition? Cheerz!
-
mate you still have coilovers for the front? I need them but only if they are complete (meaning have the tops on them that hold the spring to the shock ..... ? Also would it be possible to have them sent to Adelaide and if so how much?
-
Champ do u have the tops for the suspension sitting round anyway? Bracket assembly / spacer / bushing rubber etc: the shit that you use to hold the springs on to the shocks. I'm just hunting the top assembly gear for two front shocks
-
Ok now i'm finally in the right place. Does anyone have any R34 standard front struts and rims? Yep, u guessed it. Defected I've already changed injectors, turbo, computer, manifold / gate, ecu, fuel pump, cams, gears, tinting, AFM, exhaust and the list goes on!!!!! I am almost ready to have a slim chance of getting the poor little underpowered thing registered again! Was making 307rwkw @ 16PSI..... Hate to think what it's doin now!!!!!
-
D'oh!!!!!!!
-
Mate you still got any of your R34 stock stuff?
-
Hey thanks for the quick response. I pulled one of the HKS ones out and nope there's pretty much no way they'll fit. I've got the stock springs and shock but all the stupid gear like the bushes and brackets and squishy things and spacers and everything to pretty much make a one piece unit out of each set is missing
-
Hey guys, is there anyone in Adelaide with a set of standard R34 GT-T coil-overs that I could borrow / rent to get through Regency?? I've done SO much shit to my car to make it slow and boring again but I still can't find any coil-overs! Got HKS adjustables in it atm but obviously they'll have to be TEMPORARILY replaced to make the "inspectors" happy. I just bought a set from a guy on here in Perth but he didn't have the tops for them and now it's looking like I can't get them from anywhere (other than Nissan Genuine Parts for around $700)!!!!!! Please help?

What's up all!? Met a hot chicky today at a carwash rollin in a nice R34GT and she put me onto this site. I own a white R34GTT with reasonably extensive mods (no bottom end work). Guess I'd better list them: Engine: Blitz NUR spec exhast Custom dump pipe, oil & water lines etc. HKS 2835 GT PRO S series BB Turbs Trust FMIC, Blitz DSBC, Z32 AFM, Power FC Blitz Pod Filter, Nismo injectors 18 x 10 all round CSTs (the ones off the JMS track car). 235/40 fronts & 265/35 rear. Guards rolled.. obviously HKS adjustable coil-overs Kick ass sound system This week getting following fitted: HKS injectors (Nismo ones are maxing out) Tomeii stage 2 cams Tomeii adjustable cam gears N1 water pump ... major service etc Makes a lazy 250rwkw on a mainline. Hoping for 300kw at the bot-bot when cams are in (on a dyno-dynamics, anyway). Mainlines are more accurate but I doubt the power reading would have a three in front of it... Anyway, love my car. Love your car. Love all skylines & hope to chat to some fellow fans soon. Craw
