  1. Oh also, has anyone seen these new BW 90 degress housings? Seems like would make pipe layout on an SR20det (S15 in my case) alot easier.
  2. Anyone running one of the newer T4 TS 6758's on an SR20? Can't find tooooo many people around with the setup. Thinking about going low mount T4 TS manifold and 6758 T4 TS 0.80 turbo (stiffer spring on internal wastegate) on my S15. It's daily driver. Some weekend warrior, and occasional track day. I'm all about that response. Poncam, Z32, 2000cc injectors, Forged engine, RB25 gearbox, Nistune (e85 Fuel).... was hoping for 300rwkw, maybe full boost around 3500rpm. Which seems to be a fantastic package, especially with that off boost and 'transient' response the BW are known for. Can anyone speculate on results of the TS 6758?? I know everyone totes the 7163, and I do love it, was considering in T4 TS version... however I just think I'll end up netting ~350rwkw which I just don't think is useable in an s-chassis. "slow is smooth and smooth is fast" - some guy probs a while back.
  3. Just bought new fronts (AD08R's) for my S15 otherwise I'd jump on these. I have RS3's on the rear and they're a fantastic tyre. I daily them, as well as doing Haunted Hills and SAU Deca Day (almost certainly what got me the win ). Good luck with the sale man, excellent tyres at an amazing price. Will spread the word on the sale, no doubt they'll be gone in no time.
  4. Thanks again guys. Was a fantastic event as always. I've got my car vids from the day up, in case anyone is interested. My Go Pro conveniently died before the knockout where the Mazda2 beat me https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLnOlHZ05GKk2uZo0_mfrPt4rUaFGT9eu6
  5. Entered! Woot! I'm heading up Saturday morning from Glen Waverley if anyone wants to get a motorcade going. Also anyone know who to contact about getting put in a group with a mate who's also coming up?
  6. Have always had a real soft spot for these. Would love to see how your findings go. Found Pelican Parts in the USA pretty good for info / guides and parts for BMW. I have a little e36 325i and the guides were invaluable. Have heard much the same regarding servicing etc being insane. If you're handy I imagine you could cut costs quite a bit. No idea on Adelaide however I've found one or two euro mechanics in South East Melbourne who weren't just running the shop to rape and pillage every customer. Have a heap of parts listed for e60 M5's. - http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/SuperCat/4121_catalog.htm Pretty sure I've watched this YT clip of an e60 with Meisterschaft exhaust about 100 times. Jizz.... every.... time.... -
  7. Super interested for the S15. Will have a good look through styles over the weekend. Any way to tell which of their replica ones have quick release for 2 door cars? Edit: And am I reading that right that it would be ~$420 for a PAIR of Recaro SR7's delivered to Sydney? Sorry if obvious was a little confused with wording, just seems too cheap.
  8. Great day and weekend guys and gals. Thanks to all involved for organising as well as all the volunteers. Can't wait for the next one. Pretty happy with results. Less air and some better rears will help next time (zomg ALLLLLL the spins on that wet skidpan). Haha. My videos will be up soon, will take SAU and the like to get the word out there.
  9. I'd be interested. I'm in the South East. Looking to head up Friday afternoon. Leaving work about 2pm to try and beat traffic.
  10. Yeah that's my concern, that looked sketchy in that recent vid in the dry.... no real run off there... tree's oh god the tree's.
  11. Does this go through regardless of weather? Just with it being this time of year wasn't sure if it would get cancelled if it's heavy rain / storms?
  12. Hi guys, I signed up via sauvic.com.au about 4 weeks ago. Haven't received any info yet. Would some be able to chase this up please? Thanks very much
  13. Entered. Also the FB event link seems broken. edit: Ignore my previous stupid question... I found my way.
  14. I lost access to my old account years ago. Not sure how. I never get the password reset... haven't really changed emails so no idea where it's going. Was going to join as SAU Member so was hoping to get it sorted. Old account is maximussmurf any chance of getting that back? Happy for old account to be closed and current one to have the name updated.
  15. Good luck on the weekend guys. So hope this event at the new venue goes well so I can look forward to more Motorkhana's being organised when my poor little S15 is back on the road.
  16. Any update on this? I can't find much around on the net, except an Evo sliding on this skidpan late last year (by the looks of it). I love the SAU DECA and Drfit Skills type events that have been held at DECA so far. Would love to visit something a little closer to Melbourne.
  17. Still available? I'm keen as mustard for one with a plug.
  18. I'm out guys got a defect last week and after returning everything to stock the car still failed miserably yesterday. Do. I need to email someone about bowing out of my spot and getting a refund?
  19. Emailed application and paid! Woot woot! I don't have my AASA license number on me at work so I left it off the form. I'll email it through tomorrow, hope that's ok? Didn't want to risk missing out.
  20. Ah ok, sounds alright then... do certainly like some of the features of these over the Nismo 1.5 way's I've been looking at... Do you know what exact model it is? What year it is? And how many km's it's done (I know that's not very relevant, just want to know). Site with models listed - http://www.ppi-ats.com/LSD/Carbon_LSD.html
  21. Pretty interested, need a 1.5way mech lsd for my daily S15. So I would need to source GTR driveshafts and hubs as well? And they'll slot into an S15 fine? Sorry just trying to work out the total stuff I need.
