  1. No surprise. The guy realistically had no other choice....
  2. Err.... where was Massa when an electrical problem ended his race?
  3. Fantastic photos again. I'd actually thought you were a pro already with the 'SR Photography' tag n all
  4. Well, that didn't take long did it! LOL!
  5. Lets not forget Fleet/Government/Lease True, older ones are no better it's just that they were heavier and less powerful but not what one would call safe. Crumple zones are a inherent safety design. Their pretty much non existent export program?
  6. Great result for RBR, Vettel is showing signs of being a future champion. Ferrari really need to get their shit together in a hurry!
  7. Apparently he's copped fines for family members, now I'm not suggesting that there might have been false Stat Decs...... bit it certainly isn't looking any better for him!
  8. LOL! I figured that was the case.
  9. The only parts that came as kits to be assembled were the power supply and switches (these are universal and can be used on almost any mic pre), everything else I sourced and built. It's a clone of a very very famous circuit (Neve 1272) and I re-produced it as closely as I could possible with parts sourced all over the world. All aluminium internal components were hand fabbed. Nice guitar, I love tele's. If you're after new machines (tuners) have a look on ebay for Sperzel locking types. Not sure whether you have a preferred guitar tech, but I only ever let Steve Salvi (Salvi guitars - George St Thebarton) or Brian West (Fretco) near any of my guitars My 2 Levinson Blade strats have that sort of arrangement with coil split humbuckers in the bridge and onboard preamp/eq via 3 way toggle that switches 2 variations of active settings as well as passive. Both also have locking machines. Only my Tokai Talbo has standard machines and one day I might swap these also for locking types. My custom built Tele has Sperzel locking machines, EMG active pickups, Fender USA - Bridge/Neck Plate/Control Plate and USA made Fender licensed Alder body and a vintage style 1 piece maple neck and finished with a vintage style 5 hole single ply pickguard. Custom Tele
  10. If it had to be Jap, then for sure.... Z tune
  11. Very nice.... looks like my favourite Twin Reverb! I always had the belief that most effects always sound better in series with your guitar especially overdrive/distortion effects. Modulation effects you can get away with using the effects loop. JCM800's are the nuts if you're into the british sound, but are hard to drive dirty at moderately low levels. If I had a big bank account I'd have a early 70's built Fender Twin Reverb because they have beautiful clean warm tones (at high levels) that only need to be driven by your favourite stomp box. My Peavey Classic 30 is the closest I could find to a Twin without spending $3K+ on a Fender re-issue or $6K+ on an original. There's nothing wrong with JMP-1's, I'd have kept mine if I were still playing live in bands I just had no use for it anymore. Have you tried knocking the gain back on the big muff for thrash? Sometimes it's more effective to lower the fuzz boxes gain level and drive the amp harder for a more "clean" (I know... sounds like a contradiction!) aggressive controlable gain that still sounds as heavy as all f**k..... use lots of low/mid EQ if your playing lots of 5th's. I'm considering building an amp from a Ceriatone (http://www.ceriatone.com/index.htm) kit, I'm liking the (Marshall) 18 watt kit which is pretty much like a Marshall 1974. http://www.marshallamps.com/product.asp?productCode=1974X I've just got to calibrate my latest Microphone preamplifier (dual Di too) clone that I built and then I might just tackle a guitar amp. Here's a pic of my hand built mic amp.... I'll dig out a photo of my custom Telecaster I built too....
  12. If you're rtalking any import car then it would have to be the Ferrari F430 Scuderia
  13. The most prestigious marquee ferrell.....Huh?
  14. You're right, Ablett Jnr is already a better player than his dad and arguably he's the best going around at the moment full stop....
  15. Looks as though MS have still been looking at OSX... Vista was a heap of shit not sure it's worth d'loading 7 just yet!
  16. What year did the law change to allow for points loss on camera offenses? There was a long period of time where you could get done by a camera and never lose a point.
  17. Nice amp those Ben. Guitarist in my little bro's band has one of those and they're great value. My 30W 1 x 12" Valve amp cranks that hard too....
  18. .....and a fairly short first stint at that! Brawn GP cars still looking the goods at their starting weight. I'd like to see Vettel notch up another win and hopefully Alonso and Webber come together into turn 1
  19. Not that surprising unfortunately.....
  20. I'd move interstate! f**k that, I'd move overseas.... Congrats Craig
  21. Interesting Sat practice session and even more so qualifying times and car weights. RBR cars both look good with Vettel on Pole, but I have a feeling pit/tyre strategy is going to win the Chinese GP tomorrow.
  22. Some clearly different strategies for the race tomorrow, should be good.
  23. www.unmoderated.co.uk There's a section called 'smelly deli' or someshit iirc......
  24. LOL! Digidesign 003R + Studio Monitors + U2 No Line on the Horizon
  25. Ferrari don't suck... not yet anyhow. They might have some surprises even this weekend and I have a suspicion that they weren't running light fuel. I honestly will be surprised if Webber scores more WDC points than Vettel this year and it doesn't look as though the BMW is as strong as it was this time last year which is a shame because I think Kubica is one of the better drivers out there at the moment. I'm not 100% convinced of Kimi's commitment this year either....
