  1. I wouldn't touch either of those cars anyway. Both are way over priced!
  2. Congrats on your purchase. Definitely a good a buy with those KLM's if the car is immaculate. Thanks for letting us know what you paid too, certainly is a very helpful guide. When you look at some of the other cars there for sale, they really are dreaming for what they're asking. As has been said before on this forum 'the market decides'.
  3. What do they charge to move a car across the country these days?
  4. Thought he only wanted a 100k? Did a bidding war ensue? How did the car present? Was it immaculate?
  5. Is it that red one on carsales? How much did you pay?
  6. Yep as we hit the 3 year mark on the Australian release of the car you will see quite a few more cars coming on to the 2nd hand market in the coming months.
  7. 9,000 klms, 100k. Can't really ask for much better if it's immaculate. http://www.carsales....al=Car&__N=1216 They're starting to come out of the wood work now! Maybe 90K is not that far away after all! http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/nissan-gt-r-2009-12208928?silo=Stock&cr=17&eapi=2&vertical=Car&__N=1216
  8. So you're trading in at just over 100K. What are you trading in on? How much are you spending with the dealer? How much money will the dealer be making on the new car he sells you? Ask him how much he'll give you for the car wholesale! Get my drift?
  9. I agree 90k is probably pushing it for a clean low KLM's 09 at the moment. From April though these cars will start running out of warranty. Now I know warranty is not important to some buyers but it is to others and as Nissan Australia offer no option to purchase extended warranty for the GTR the value of these cars will start to move towards the 90K mark. The 11's look like they're dropping fast and as the 12's have just arrived I'd look at spending a bit more and try and nail down a bargain!
  10. 90k is a reasonable price for an 09 but whether sellers are willing to accept it, is another matter. There are a number of 09's that have been sitting on carsales.com priced well over that and that's what they've been doing, just sitting! As warranty expiry is just around the corner for these cars, they'd be well advised to accept any reasonable offer given otherwise they may find themselves taking an even bigger hit later in the year.
  11. Nissan have already clearly indicated that production of the R35 with continue until the end of of 2014. So there will be a further 2 updates.
  12. Would Nissan Aust. service and warranty this vehicle?
  13. 140K on road for a MY11 is a very good price! Which dealer was it? It makes you wonder how much margin dealers have to work with on these cars and hense what Nissan Aust. is paying for them from the parent company. I beIieve dealers usually get a rebate from the manufacturer (and therefore can discount heavily) if they haven't sold a current model on their floor if a new one is about to arrive. If demo 11's are going for 140K on road then I think 90 to 95k is a more realistic price for an 09 and the low 100k's for a 10. Obviously it's always dependant on klm's and condtion.
  14. Lol: Can I ask why! I think Domino sums it up pretty well! Anyway I'm not looking for a car that's been daily driven either. I'm looking for one that's been a garage queen and trust me there are plenty out there! Some people seem to think these cars will hold their value if they put 5,000KLM's per year on them and leave in the garage lol! Doh!
  15. The GTR is an awesome car no doubt about but there's one thing it does faster then accelerate and that's depreciate! Anyone who thinks they can sell an 09ADM that's been tracked for over 100k is simply dreaming! There are a number of 09's for sale on carsales.com for just over 100K that have low KLM's on them, never seen a track day in their life and have been on sale for months. Dealers won't give you much over 80K for an 09 (which is nearly out of warranty) as a trade because they know they can't shift them. I'm currently looking for an 09 but I obviously I won't touch one that's been tracked with a barge pole and certainly won't be paying over a 100k! As I said great car but be prepared for hit if you buy a new one!
  16. What big news?
  17. Definately a great help. Am looking foward to the day when i'll make that booking to get the work done! Cheers
  18. Hi Martin I'm looking at picking up a 2nd hand R35 which i'll likely never have the time or the budget to use on a track. If you're only going to use an R35 for street use with say some minor mods like an exhaust and a tune, are any transmisson modifications (and diff) needed for a long and happy life besides the use of your fluids? Would appreciate your expertise on this.
  19. Hi guys Australian GTR's seem to post slower 0 to 100 KPH times then overseas models. Any reason for this? Is it our fuel, or are they simple arriving here with less mojo??
  20. Good fun but with no 911 Turbo S and no Aventador a waste of time really.
  21. The last update of the R35 will be the MY2015. It will be interesting to see what changes they make in the next 3 years. Can't see power levels increasing drastically, just more refinement I guess.

    Looking At A R35

So $7,000 on parts and $30,000 in depreciation for 5,000klms on a MY11. I think I'll pick up a MY09 out of warranty for 90K and then have some fun.
  23. Yea didn't last long! Here's another one at 170K but it's a demo. http://www.carsales....al=Car&__N=1216
  24. Make that 170K drive away and going down! http://www.carsales.com.au/bncis/details/nissan-gt-r-2011-11398724?VNAV=A&silo=Stock&cr=20&eapi=2&vertical=Car&__N=1216
  25. If you wait until March next year, when the MY2012's start arriving I reckon you could knock another 10k off that price. Dealers will new to shift them!
