  1. You seem to have the same cartridge as the HKS2835ProS so as you posted you have a 56mm turbine (not the full size 60mm GT30 turbine) so you will need a housing to suit the smaller wheel.
  2. I am pretty sure they are the same. If you search the forum that thread should eventually pop up. In cylinder pressures during combustion should be anywhere around 1000psi (ish) detonation will double this suddenly. If the turbo is on the limit it will be pushing more heat in there which won't be helping. Ultimately it really comes down to tuning to suit level of boost you are running relative to the quality of your fuels. Did you mention what turbo you are using and was it making more power above 20, 21, 22, 24, 24, 25psi? Here is the link to the thread on where to buy the lifters. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/361912-hydraulic-lifters-noisy/page__view__findpost__p__5776895 http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,carcode,1209844,parttype,5548
  3. New hydraulic lifters are cheap from the US if you are that worried. There was a thread floating around here somewhere with a link to a supplier. If I start my R33 and shut it down without bringing it up to temperature (and let it cool completely) it will run quite rough for a few minutes. I have always assumed this is a lifter sticking. Once it warms up a little it is fine. I almost never start it and let it cool down completely so it is a non-issue day to day. Once the engine comes out for a freshen up I will make a decision on whether it is worth doing anything with it.
  4. Schumacher might need a job next year...
  5. I have a fuel regulator in Sydney and willing to post. PM me if interested.
  6. ^^ plus there should be some aero changes which might shake things up.
  7. I wonder how the world media would have reacted if a steward said "they penalised Hamilton because he was black....that's what Ali G says....I am just kidding". They hit him with a powder puff anyway, 20 second penalty which cost him nothing. Roy is spot on, if he said the track is tight and opportunities are rare as hens teeth. In both cases the drivers left the door ajar but closed it before I could complete my move. He will be great to watch in Canada.
  8. How are you going to trim the fuel maps if you don't know where you are in the first place? There is plenty of room to advance timing in the light load areas with relative safety but this isn't really what the OP asked. If you want to change the fueling then you need a wideband but as long as the O2 sensor is working then the ecu will pull it back to stoich on steady throttle openings anyway. The best way to save fuel is keep your foot light until you get it tuned.
  9. Soldering is relatively easy, you just need to gouge out the silicon around the cover and pop it out which is slightly fiddly but not hard. I would solder it.
  10. Schumacher-esque
  11. Slip a little vodka in his drink bottle and VP will be fine.
  12. Roll of duct tape for Hamo's rear wing?
  13. geez red flag....
  14. from 7th to 9th was the call.
  15. He made a slight shortcut in Q3.
  16. Perez is out. Hamo was penalised for cutting the chicane in quali.
  17. Cheeky look.
  18. I like...... ....but I can tell (be they amateur or professional) I can't afford even one of them.
  19. Rob what is the difference in spray patterns?
  20. No one expects them to be humble, besides if they don't believe they are the best and should be a WDC then why show up....apologies to Trulli for suggesting he thinks he can win anything.
  21. He was humble the year after his WDC when he was lapped by most of the field when the Mac was rubbish.
  22. I would want to spend Friday down on the harbour with the ladeeez on my yacht if I could. KIMI STYLE!!
  23. The first driver on the scene loses a few tenths when they come up on backmarkers too so it usually evens out over a few laps but you are spot on, they need to move the hell out of the way. Fisichella was pretty ordinary when it came to being lapped.
