The relative lack of pace is where I get it from. The Ferrari's pace has improved and so has McLaren but RBR doesn't appear to have compensated yet. I don't think it was a cheaters wing, it passed scrutineering all season so as far as I am concerned it was legal but by the same token they have changed it to meet the new test and now they are relatively slower. I am disappointed as I want MW to salvage points.

It looks like the cheaters wings were cheaters wings after all. Who will kamikaze on lap 1?

Last year MW drove with a gammy leg. This year despite some questionable strategy by RBR he is leading the WDC. SV is a quick driver especially over one lap (hmm sounds like MW in the old days in a shitty car) but he is hardly towelling MW down this year or last. So it beats me why anyone thinks he is a better driver. I stand and point to the scoreboard this year and it says otherwise. I disagree with Roy it is more like 90% car, 10% driver as LH proved last year by being everyone else's bitch.

RBR cars seem to have shrugged off the new scrutineering tests and look quick in practice. A bit embarrassing at McLaren if they can't match the pace of Ferrari and Redbull after talking up the unfair advantage those cars had.

Isn't Bob running the GT3540 on an RB30.

2nd hand motor is my pick....still. Ring around a bit more and see what other engines are out there but surely this will come out the cheapest and do the job. If you are going to build then the RB30 is the most logical thing to build.

They will just cycle their old engines for practice and get through it. MW well placed with 2 new ones left which might help him if he needs a few extra laps of max rpm. Given his last few starts he will need 56 laps at max rpm.

A bit lame but bought some 15mm hubcentric spacers from JustJap. Matt@JustJap had them delivered to my door within 3.5hrs (ordered 10.15am sitting on the doorstep at work by 1.45pm). That is outstanding service and deserves a pat on the back. I have a HKS2835ProS going on next week to replace the perfectly fine HKS GT-RS which will be a more interesting mod. More on this next week.

if the light, light/medium load points of the map are left very fat then it will probably be thirsty regardless of O2 feedback being on in my experience.

Is the stacker an Alpine stacker? Does the HU have the stacker port/plug on it?

Pull the front driveshaft out and run it on a 2 wheel dyno. The difference in power is bugger all. Where are you located Bronx?

Not going, as such obviously not going to Four Floors (although I hear it is a good chuckle), Captn Chin comes away leading the WDC after the RBR car still shows good downforce despite the new tests.

Have you checked for vacuum leaks as suggested earlier?

I thought you were complaining about the drone? It will be quieter but a 3.5" system with a mid muffler of modest size and reduce the drone.

Type B is my pick. There seem to be no losses down low with a fatter mid range. Are they worth it? Probably cheaper to upgrade the turbo to a GT3076 if 300rwkw is important. If response is more important then stick with the HKS 2835 Kai. Asking about cams will always get a mixed bag of responses from SAU. My experience is that the car is better thing with them than without BUT there are plenty of people with experience here that say they are often a step back on a track (particularly with respect to GTR's). So allow for the price of cams, the install (checking valve clearances, possibly shims) and dyno time. Ultimately it's your call but if you have the money I think it will be a step forward (at a price).

Replace the hotdog with a decent straight through mid muffler. Problem solved.

That is a sure way to use more fuel with Ms Wolv behind the wheel. She is always ramping it onto boost. The car needs to go back to the tuner, there is little else you can do.....

There is a sticky thread at the top of forced induction with lots of dyno readouts to go through. Then there is a wealth of information if you use the search button. Basic upgrades are as follows: hiflowed stock turbo: (keywords) hypergear, GCG, hiflow after market turbo: HKS GT-RS, HKS 2835ProS, HKS 3037 ProS, Garrett, GT3076, GT3071 Plug some of those keywords into search and see what you find.
