  1. Funny thing but AWKW and RWKW readings are almost always identical unless there is wheel spin. Sure people add 10kw or so to their figures but I take that with a grain of salt...in fact all dyno numbers as well. The R33 is in RWKW cos it only has one diff and doesn't struggle for traction (in a straight line at least). Obviously the stagea was missing its front driveshaft for the dyno runs. It grips up fine with it back in.
  2. Who knows how we got here but it is fun. (2x RB's with 250rwkw and +280rwkw so far no pop)
  3. Everyone was a bit slow to bite there Bis. Since generalisations were being thrown around I thought.....what the hey. Sorry Jet that was being directed at whitestag's query. (I'm pretty sure you are saying derr)
  4. We don't get offended since we have been making more power for so long that we are genuinely happy every time you guys crack a little more power than stock...... AFM = Air Flow Meter MAF = Mass Air Flow AFM = MAF
  5. Ahh, the ol' RB26 PFC misfire. I believe it is an earthing issue but it can be a pain to run down. The Nistune is the best bet today for a streetable car. (I had a slight miss on one car around 2500-3000rpm due to the relative difference in the mapped AFR vs closed loop.....the step was too big to provide a smooth transition, leaning out that section of the map ironed it out totally)
  6. Really? Last I checked the tuner has a bigger input than the ECU. (not knocking Haltech Platinum as they are a great bit of kit)
  7. Yep that article covers the blatancy and disregard for the rules and the fans of the sport. Perhaps that article should go into further detail on the subtle ways that team orders are now given to show a cleaner face of F1 despite the fact that it still happens.
  8. I read and re-read what I wrote and I don't know where I said "A position earned is the same as a position given". I am suggesting team orders are in place most races and affect the points. It is part of F1. I don't know how you came to the conclusion I was supporting the actions of Ferrari. I want team mates to go at it hammer and tong with clean(ish) racing.
  9. Late series 2 with the R34 CAS?
  10. Is it team orders when drivers are advised to hold station and not challenge their team mate? On more than one occasion this year we have seen cryptic orders given to drivers from more than just Ferrari telling them that "their team mate is quicker" or time to "conserve fuel" when it seems they were pressing for position. It is rife in F1 and it always will, the difference is Ferrari made it obvious this weekend. It sucks but that is the game.
  11. Oil consumption? Makes me want run into the nearest Golden Fleece and grab a wide necked bottle of oil and lift hood and help out.
  12. EJ gold. Alonso apparently lost sight of what Massa was doing off the start...... well he was jammed against the pitwall by Vettel so I guess this was technically true.
  13. Button is going to jump Hamilton and Webber at this rate.
  14. Hamilton made a mistake last lap nearly dropping a second in the middle sector. Shame tv coverage missed it. MW's lap time shows LH went defensive after his mistake.
  15. I have run both (back to back) and there is a bees dick in it. (GCG vs HKS GT-RS)
  16. Best I could find.
  17. MW knocked out a quickest last sector so maybe he has more pace than he appears to be showing but it looks like nando is a real chance.
  18. I can't wait to fire up the projector tonite for quali. I am crossing my fingers that Ferrari have found some pace in race trim.
  19. Yeah, unusual for him to not catch the second one, it sure spat him out the other side.
  20. He put it in the wall so that makes it Nelsinho Piquet-esque for mine. Nevertheless it bit him pretty hard and he is one of the most capable when the car is sideways.
  21. the factory BOV will not lead to turbo failure
  22. Lawn tennis is outdated too but no one wants to put the axe into Wimbledon. Where else can you see Kimi swim out to the 80 footer with bikini clad chicks?
  23. Standard RB25 cams etc (but HKS cast manifold). It would give you an idea of how it delivers power. Obviously the extra cubes is offset by the extra weight of the stagea so I would be a fairly close comparison. I'll pm my number.
