  1. It won't be a 76mm turbine. If it is a 56mm or 60mm turbine with a 71mm compressor then it will be a GT3071 hybrid. So about 425 to 450hp.
  2. that still doesn't sound correct. A GT3076 is most likely to be a 60mm turbine and 76mm compressor and is a 500hp turbo. Capable >300rwkw There a few 56mm turbines floating around (which have been used on older style IW GT3071's so unless you buy the genuine garrett item there is a bit of mix and match possible. The turbo looks more like a 2860 aka 2530 so more like 230rwkw but they have clearly machined out a bit for the new turbine.
  3. To the best of my knowledge there is no turbo with this designation. What sort of hp output is quoted for this turbo?
  4. Why would you need another idea? It seems pretty straightforward.
  5. Would the flow of a divided 0.82 housing be equal to an undivided 0.82 ext gate housing? Does the divider cause some reduction in area or is that already factored into the AR calculation?
  6. Will there be health packs and extra weapons to collect around the track as well??
  7. Nope RB25DET neo's are top feed, RB25DET are sidefeed.
  8. Apart from standard cams what else was used on the engine?
  9. Spotted Bis-e Bee at Kings Langley shops. Nearly ran me over so maybe he spotted me too....
  10. UAS are definitely open Saturday morning till mid afternoon.
  11. I would make the trip to Sydney to one of the reputable tuners. BTW I have family up there in Orange and Bathurst and will be purchasing some property in Orange in the next few weeks.
  12. You can buy the adjustable rods with polyurethane bushes and avoid the rose jointed versions.
  13. you have a 24mm hollow bar on the RS4S hence the upgrade isn't a big a jump.
  14. mattye, did you read my post about the size of the RS4S rear swaybar?
  15. RS4S has a larger rear swaybar (24mm hollow) so the upgrade to the whiteline 24mm solid bar isn't as big a jump as the auto versions. The increase in rate is something like 70% (from memory) from hollow to solid bar. It doesn't make a huge difference like on the autos. I am having a senior moment regarding the change in front bars.
  16. yep, RB25DET neo is 370cc
  17. It still clicks, it still annoys me, it doesn't seem to have any negative effect.
  18. ......but if you ignore this warning and do go ahead, make sure you get a camera on it for Funniest Home Video.
  19. Is it a series 2 Stagea motor ie. neo RB25DET or a series 2 GTS-t motor from a series 1 Stagea? The series 1 Stagea ECU has three different pin out configurations. The series 2 Stagea ECU has one pinout configuration which is almost the same an R34 Gt-t. Traction control at pin 51 is the only difference.
  20. the grey ones are just older injectors and therefore have discoloured a bit.
  21. It's in a Nissan housing so it is a fair guess that it has been cropped. edit: that and the tag saying GT2835 which should be a 56mm turbine to start with.
  22. The first description sounds like an induction hose blowing off. Although that doesn't explain why it feels fine now. Is there a small longitudinal split of one of the intercooler hoses that perhaps is holding shut when the engine is cooler? Check all the intercooler hoses and clamps. It doesn't sound like an oil issue at all.
  23. There is little difference in power readings on a 4WD dyno over 2WD.
  24. It sounds like a button clutch of some sort.
  25. mikey try forced induction. I will give you are call in a few days and see if you are free.
