  7. Didn't the OP say it was a daily driver. Hard pressed to wring the neck of the turbo that often on the street. So what if you screw shiteload of boost in? The impression I got is that it isn't gonna spend much time there anyway. You get a more streetable turbo and some cake to eat when you want it. Just another point of view...to confuse the OP further.
  8. The scary part is that LH was struggling with the car the whole time. I reckon there is a better chance that Merc sort out the handling faster than Renault sort out their PU.
  9. I ate a similar menu, the roast chicken with truffles was perfect, the rest was enormously over rated. The pork bun is exactly how you describe it but does that justify fine dining prices for what amounts to street food? There are so many better restaurants in Sydney for same or less money. The restaurant critics must have had a very different experience to rate the restaurant where they have.
  10. You should change the stock dump pipes. Then you change them back like everybody else. Same goes for the HKS 2540 turbos.
  11. Whatever they have been using has been damaging the nearly infallible fuel flow sensors.
  12. It's a lock on the front row for Merc, Daniel another good performance into 3rd. Bottas and Grosjean great laps coming in 4th and 5th. Roy will be happy for the first time this year.

  16. I am so grateful that Andrew is switched on and generous with his time. He found 2 places with witness marks and a few other things so much faster than I could have hoped to have found them myself. What is the current pricing on the Federals?
  17. Found the source of the noise on the front end. The sway bar/links were fowling on the radius rod. Andrew @ ASR sourced some shorter links which lifts the sway bar over the top of the radius rod regardless of whether the sway bar is shifted to the left or the right of centre. There are a few other bits and pieces that are being replaced while we are in there.

  19. You can check all connections from speed sensor through to cluster but the speed sensor might be failing, been there done that. A search should find it.
  20. Another attraction of the HKS cast manifold is that it is a true low mount (as opposed to stock sidemount) so pipework from the turbine outlet isn't convoluted like top mounts. However there is a cost in fabricating everything to fit and you need to weigh it up.
  21. They came from HKS with pre-drilled stud holes for T3 or T4 afaik. They are divided. A GT30/GT35 sized turbo may fowl slightly on the engine mount but a small shave of that is easy enough if necessary. If you want to use a split turbine housing then they are a good low mount option.
