  1. if the price is different then it probably isn't the same "sorta job". if there is a big difference then turbologic is probably using a bushbearing core much like hypergear offers in some of their hi-flows.
  2. Vettel slowed in the last few laps so Webber made up a bit of time there plus the slow crossing of the finish line by Vettel probably narrowed the finishing margin. Webber lost most of his time wrestling with Button but Vettel was a whisker faster on the whole. Perhaps if they had pitted consistently with their starting fuel loads Webber would have been a bit closer to the front given that he seems to have been pulled in at least 3 laps early but Vettel earned the win in what seems to have universally described as a very tough/wet race. quick edit: unfair maybe due to being pulled into the pits earlier than Vettel but that is F1.
  3. massa was slower
  4. safety car after Sutil's error?
  5. live timing will tell the story but there is a massive advantage driving up front with no spray.
  6. yeah a dry race with water all over the track....i guess

  10. i reckon you will make more than 280rwkw with the GT3040. you should exceed 300rwkw with the 0.82 no, the turbine housing from the GT35 won't fit.
  11. nice call by Vettel on the radio "we made it!!" not "I did it!!" the team will love him for sure fast and humble.
  12. webber mistake last sector cost him about 3 tenths
  13. i have used K&N filters for over 9 years on my R33 (and also on the S2 Stagea) and i have never had an AFM issue due to the filter. a spray of electrical contact cleaner on the element once a year is pretty easy if you are worried about oil affecting the element. just a part of maintenance as far as i am concerned.
  14. cheers dezz, i have live timing up now.
  15. Vettel couldn't get the same times as Webber in the last race.... now they are in the same car it is a more fair comparison than last year when the TR looked very stronger towards the end of the season than the RB cars. we will need to see more races to know who is quicker as they seem to carry very similar pace.
  16. Fan Resistor Thread
  17. hi chris where is the fan resistor how do i check it?
  18. more information from Ms Wolv, the fan was working and stopped when the AC was switched on. turned HVAC off. after 10-15mins turned back on, fan working again but when AC switched on fan switched off. now fan doesn't seem to work at all.
  19. The interior fan stopped working today. I might be getting tired but i can't for love or money figure out which fuse supplies the fan. Apart from a fuse issue can anyone make some suggestions on what would be worth checking.
  20. also make sure that the wastegate enough pre-load. this can also be a source of sluggish response and it used to pop up from time to time with GCG turbos. the EBC will probably sort out most of your issues but just another thing to look at if it isn't sorted out.
  21. that feeling you have is probably just last nights kebab roy. it will pass.
  22. all in 2500rpm? can you post the dyno when he finishes please.
  23. cheers, the attessa seems to work fine it is just the clicking. next time a sparky gets near it they can spend a few mins poking around.
  24. does this mean the accumulator is damaged beyond repair or is there a potential electrical issue to/from the accumulator?
