  1. it should also fit an RB20 or even R25DET neo. engine mounts might need to be shaved to fit depending on the turbo used.
  2. was she doing warp factor 9? she denies being there.... so that's a no.
  3. there is small piece of rubber under the bonnet that needs to be removed to get airfeed in there btw. carbon cannister is an emissions device that removes unburnt vapours from the intake i believe.
  4. this is my R33, i moved the charcoal cannister to make room for the catch can. certainly there are neater jobs out there but it gets the job done. there is a cold feed from underneath plus it picks up that bit from in front. all made from 0.6mm aluminium, lined with some sound deadening and made with hand tools in the garage in case it doesn't show.
  5. i have a rear cannon with 5" tip from a series II R33 in sydney (with pipework to the rear flange).
  6. apparently EGA likes to watch
  7. i'm pretty sure Gary has recently moved on.
  8. i believe Heasmans have fitted plenty of skyline based cars so it would be hard to argue against them unless you know a whole lot better. my 2c worth is trust them.
  9. yeah right KiwiRS4T next thing you will try to tell us is that the pavlova, neil finn, russell crowe, are all from NZ.
  10. i think it is a GT3071 with a 0.82 housing and larger wastegate flap but the nomenclature is a little confusing. the new housing GCG are referring to relates to the revised wastegate flap as alluded to by badhairdave.
  11. just a little cut and paste from the for sale section. perhaps sticking a price on your ad would be helpful.
  12. happy for both you and RBNT.
  13. 38mm ext gate? isn't the ProS an internally gated turbo?
  14. my first concern is diagnosing accurately why the GCG failed. you don't hear of them failing very often with low K's so you don't want o put a new one on and face the same issue. 1. GCG rebuild will be the cheapest and will be brand new for the bits that count. it will bolt straight back on, no new lines or dump modifications. GT3071 is a plan B but there are many guises for this turbo. you can spec one with a nissan turbine housing allowing the dump to bolt back up but may require new oil and water lines and possibly intake changes. alternatively, buy one with the garrett turbine housing and spend on all the new bits to make it fit. (at least this way the the turbine has the correct housing as it was designed. if you are made of money there are HKS bolt on versions including the GT-RS (aka 2871) and 2835ProS (aka sorta 3071 with smaller 56mm turbine). make a note that CRD are trialling a nissan specific turbine housing for GT30 based turbines so they are putting up some results on their trader advert here at SAU shortly. this might just be the local casting of the OP6/VG housing or it might be the garrett housing to suit nissan flange. this would be worth looking out for. 2. if you have it fit it. 3. simple answer is hell yes. again if you can stretch your budget a Powerfc or Vi-Pec or E-manage Ultimate are going to give you more tuneability down the track if you make further changes but for $450 it is tough to beat the Nistune on a budget. 4. new one's are dime a dozen lots of traders on the forum sell them 5. modify the CES one to fit the O2 sensor.
  15. or plan B see if RBNT closed the sale on his Autech. Autech Stagea Sale
  16. do we need to go around and knock on his door? no chance he will be out of the country.
  17. can you post the model number of the plugs?
  18. either a whiteline stagea specific spring OR get some new shocks machined with extra circlip grooves OR look at Tein superstreets (pretty sure they are height adjustable)
  19. certainly non-magnetic alloys.
  20. there are 2 types, green sticker (series 1) and pink sticker (series 2). i guess 1.5 = pink sticker??
  21. pm sent
  22. x2 but you won't get to 0.5 deg neg on the rears with eccentric bushes on a S2.
