  1. have you checked the coil packs? this has been suggested but i don't think you have ever clarified whether they have been checked/replaced. most of us run plug gaps of about 0.8mm vs 1.1mm. at standard boost with healthy coils 1.1mm gap shouldn't be a problem. if the dealer reset the gaps and the same issue then it isn't the plug gap. i still think it is coil packs.
  2. i have an R33 with 196,000 km on it (plus the RS4S). the R33 has been pushing out over 200rwkw since i bought it 7 years ago. compression is sweet across the board. 120,00km is nothing. buy the manual in the first place from any of the guys selling locally and you will be laughing. alternatively wait for one at auction and then the hassles of waiting for it to get on a boat, compliance and maintenance and repairs (ie coils, clutch etc). either way it will work out much easier and possibly cheaper than converting one.
  3. well can we get some(or more) pre & post dyno's with a billet turbo hi-flows. more choice will never be a bad thing.
  4. buy aftermarket adjustable radius rods. pretty sure one of the noltec sets will bolt straight on. much cheaper and you can wind on as much +ve castor as the car will take.
  5. check coil packs.
  6. i'm with ctjet here. more money for aero/chassis development has got to be a priority.
  7. the penalty on hamilton was too harsh and there is little doubt about it as it was a close thing whether he made the pass or not. if he had been ordered to give the place up straight away then little harm done. it is a shame that sometimes the rules are harsher than intended. same goes for the getting caught with no fuel in a safety car period. hamilton could hardly sit around waiting for racecontrol to make a decision (even though i think they made the right call).
  8. i suppose we need to determine if his passing move was completed or not.
  9. is rove hosting the F1 presentation tonite? grrr.

  11. the accumulator? where and what is an accumulator (other than a device that accumulates).
  12. kovalainen loses 5 spots for impeding webber. i reckon alonso is the one to watch. he has very little to lose going into turn 1 and will be all elbows if he gets off the line well. The revised provisional grid: 1. Kimi Raikkonen, Ferrari 2. Felipe Massa, Ferrari 3. Fernando Alonso, Renault 4. Jarno Trulli, Toyota 5. Robert Kubica, BMW Sauber 6. Mark Webber, Red Bull 7. 17. hi duncan actually dmonics car might be the only real bolt in powerfc for a stagea. his is rear wheel drive with TC. so almost certainly it will bolt in and run it like on other S2's BUT the engine check light fault from TC won't be an issue (like on the 4wd stageas).
  18. they will be fine, when they are knackered replace them with the plugs the mafia mentioned.
  19. don't throw them in the bin. send them down to me. i'll use em.
  20. no brainer for you then. powerfc all the way.
  21. geez, i have run an aftermarket turbo on my R33 for over 7 years now with 191,000km on the clock with (obviously) higher than standard boost. compression is still good. i think we all need to encourage new members to look at locally landed cars with plenty of fruit on them. nowadays they are almost certainly cheaper than importing once you factor in the modifications and tuning etc.
  22. all over the passenger footwell.
