  1. or the classic Victorian Police motto STOP!!!! or i'll shoot again. :laughing-smiley-014:
  2. i'm glad we agree on the standard shocks not being suitable. remind me not to stand near anyone when you are holding a shotgun.
  3. i have read and re-read my post and i never said they wouldn't fit but they would probably be undervalved (due to the weight difference). so the question of whether they would work acceptably is up for grabs. aftermarket R33 shocks is a different ball game for valving hence you have obviously found something you are happy with. getting back to what was posted, do you think standard shocks will work acceptably?
  4. as far as i can tell, this is what he is talking about doing. you have a strange habit of calling everyone that disagrees with you idiots, stupid or otherwise. next time someone throws a thread out there maybe it would all save us time if they direct it at you.
  5. they should fit but will they work acceptably? the stagea weighs a fair bit more than a GTS-t roughly 1350kg to 1750kg (give or take). personally i wouldn't do it but then again i have never driven one with GTS-t shocks in so i am just guessing based on what the nissan engineers would have deemed reasonable based on spring rates and weight. could it affect braking distances if things turn to shit? (interested to hear if someone has more to say on this front). ultimately your call. ps. the RS4S (manual) has a fork type on the rear like the R33 GTR just in case anyone reading owns one.
  6. there are some commercial/industrial units available last i checked. i believe a taiwanese company has a number of applications. i have no idea how expensive or effective their units are but they seem to exist. click the link if you want to do some reading Epoch
  7. do you have a powerfc commander handy?
  8. what power does a dyno read when i you give 400rwhp car a 100 shot? 470rwhp or 500rwhp?
  9. anyone have footage of the wing breaking 2 seconds prior? sounds like spin to calm things down.
  10. the experience they have built up during the manufacture of 4 billion corollas, the diligence and care designing the avalon or more correctly the pimped & stretched camry has made all the difference. two thumbs up for keeping many +50yr olds heart rates up. two thumbs up for their F1 team, better late than never.
  11. i thought the race was pretty interesting from the point of view that the front runners weren't warp factor 3 faster than toyota, red bull or williams even button wasn't far off the pace with his lap times in the honda (although a long way back in the race order). kovalainen couldn't really get away from trulli for most of the race, at least until trulli switched off, that or the hard tyres provided better balance in the mclaren. we are never going to get parity between 4-5 F1 teams but this race seemed to show the gaps between the teams are a little closer. the first wet race will give the 'better' drivers an opportunity to show their skills and i can't wait.
  12. $2m supercar!! worth considering for sure. check amayama website and compare it to some recent auction prices.
  13. GCG is a reputable shop (not Victorian though) and could supply either turbo mentioned (GT30, GT35)with a target of 300rwkw. the clutch of course will be fine. GT3076 (with the new information of 250rwkw) would be the more responsive so there is your answer. you did write good luck with your car.
  14. mine came with a BOV adapter (for aftermarket BOV). from memory we needed a length of hose to relocate it to the factory recirc pipe.
  15. 300rwkw if this is your target then you are going to need something like a GT3076 (GT30R)pushing it pretty hard or GT35 should be a snip BUT you are going to need a lot more than $1600 budget to make use of 300rwkw including clutch, suspension, injectors, fuel pump possibly could lunch the motor if average tuning or bad fuel strike (i guess you have standard internals). response will suffer with the larger turbos. if you set your sights a little lower say 250rwkw (240-260) then GCG hi-flow or HKS GT-RS will get you there or thereabouts. fuel pump upgrade and injectors and bob's your uncle. GT-RS $2500 (-old turbo $300?) GCG Hi-Flow $1800 Injectors $700 Fuel Pump $250 otherwise you are into buying bushbearing turbos maybe $1000-1200 if you are absolutely on a budget. you would need to call a local reputable turbo shop to get prices and specs. (or do a thorough search here at SAU).
  16. i'm interested in seeing more ever since you originally posted the results trooper. interested in whether this ends up being a 52 trim 76mm compressor when someone pulls one apart. if they are a bolt on and your results are duplicated they will sell like hotcakes. +1 for interest here
  17. working here using wireless router connected to ADSL2
  18. cheers for the help on the proxy
  19. JP@UAS 300zx (Boosted Zed) might be the confirmation you are looking for. big hp car.
  20. the turbo IS a bolt on (purchased new it comes standard with all required oil and water lines) and does bolt up to the standard nissan dump flange.
  21. the internal design of the cores years ago was quite different between the cheap cores and the higher quality cores. at this point whether the cheap cores have decent internal fin designs?? practically speaking the cheap cores seem to deliver great results at the price. in terms of whether they work the same there is enough evidence (hidden in the forum somewhere) that the name brand japanese and plazmaman kits show less static pressure drop and have some better quality piping options particularly the plazmaman "gibson" style cross over replacement pipe. the internal design of the plazmaman cores are supposed to be pretty good and should provide excellent heat dissipation much like the more expensive japanese cores. the trust V spec has an inferior internal design compared to their R spec cores for example.
  22. HKS cast manifold? flows more than factory and probably pick one up for $500-600,
  23. news in, an former nazi engineer stole the plans to the chelsea dungeon and sent emails to Mosely. if he used the information then he could be looking down the barrel of a $100m fine. Mosely last seen asking advice from Ron Dennis. more to follow.
  24. i suspect your free turbo is going to cost a lot by the time you finish modifying it, fitting it and then getting disappointed with the poor response from it.
