  1. buy a GT-RS then and sell your existing turbo. a few hundred dollars more money but better than a ride to lag city (and compressor surgeville?!?!)
  2. if you cable tie the head unit from the back that may solve your security concerns. filling in the sides should be possible with a little lateral thinking.
  3. the vanilla GT28RS's do not have a T3 housing (afaik) so you need to get the nissan housing machined to suit and get the correct oil water lines etc supplied to fit. the HKS come with the HKS T3 housing and all oil and water lines, elbows etc so a full bolt on kit. more money but it works out of the box.
  4. currently AUD$466 delivered in Aust from nengun, cheaper landed in japan.
  5. has the date firmed up bass?
  6. was it just me or was there a poofteenth of a second when Alonso came into contact with Massa (as he passed him) that it could have handed Webber his first GP win. the moment came.....the moment went.
  7. RS4S is manual, it costs more than an auto but there are a few extra trick bits that the autos don't have and a wider range of after market engine management choices. or 260RS if you have deeper pockets.
  8. Hamilton makes a mistake/or equipment failure in qualifying and sticks it into a tyre wall.
  9. did you disconnect the TPS plug while adjusting the idle?
  10. tangles, i am not trying to make you out as a fool. i am disagreeing (also based on facts). nothing more nothing less.
  11. tangles did it occur to you that using your hi-flow you are: a. on the limit of resolution of the standard AFM b. close to maxing your injectors c. on the limit of your fuel pump hence all the above items are necessary or close enough in your case. standard turbo......should not require any of these items.
  12. if you are in sydney, i have a standard dump pipe and its a freebie for a pick up.
  13. standard turbo is unlikely to max out the afm so no need for a Z32. unlikely to max out the injectors so no need for an FPR. unlikely to max out fuel pump so no need for bigger fuel pump. SAFC, a bleed valve are all bang for your buck mods.
  14. black RS4S sunnyholt rd parklea 7pm
  15. the dents are not an issue. almost every standard SMIC has dents in those places.
  16. i haven't seen the cradle for the stagea but i have fitted (to my R33) a bosch 984 which flows more and has a hose end that will fit the factory sock using a tiny piece of 12mm EFI line and a clamp which voids fuel pick up issues with the 040. i have a DIY in the tutorial DIY section if it helps. alternatively greenline/nengun have nismo/tomei/sard pumps which are very competitive on price once you factor in your time and labour.
  17. we found more everywhere with the bellmouth nothing massive but more. not what was expected but there you go. all the people i have spoken to think the type B's are the go too. they expect there will be no loss down low and more everywhere else. can't wait to see your results.
  18. hi darrin we back to back tested a high quality split dump with a bellmouth and made slightly more with the bellmouth. just food for thought. ps. did you measure the lift on the EX cam and is it actually 7mm?
  19. if i pull the 4WD fuse the clicking stops (test light confirmed) so i presume the relay goes to an actuator or somesuch but it is weird how it does it at rest.
  20. the relay that is connected to the 4WD fuse clicks repeatedly approx every 60secs at idle. the relay is located near the bonnet hinges on the drivers side ie the black relay. anyone got ideas on why it is being triggered? can anyone supply circuit diagrams to help out? ps. the 4WD light is not being lit but does work.
  21. cheers, i am just organising some time in a workshop and dyno time for some other bits and pieces so i might as well install the pipe then.
