  1. relax bear84 i have used SK on several occasions and i can guarantee you will never have more issues than i have had (not due to SK's fault BTW, where the model variant i have has different parts to other models) but he has been helpful and always provided the correct part AND spent the time talking through problems i have faced. you will get your parts. no doubt the pm box has been full.
  2. Bass are we still looking at 4 weeks from the date of placing order to receipt of pipes?
  3. you can squeeze a 10" sub in a small enclosure next to the battery. ask the professionals here which 10" subs will work best in smaller enclosures.
  4. hamilton P1. (P2 raikkonen, P3 alonso, P4 massa) the real deal in a fast car it seems.
  5. back to back dyno testing we made more power (few kw's) with a bellmouth than a good quality split dump. go figure. (btw power levels around the 230rwkw mark)
  6. fuelpumps.pdf bosch list of pumps and flow rates.
  7. the R34 powerFc pin 51 goes to the traction control so if you plug it in it will run the engine no problems (at least on a series 2 stagea and presumably on a series 1) but the engine check light will be lit. EGA4IT's circuit will provide the 3.7V to get rid of the checklight.
  8. i believe the plug on the S1 is the same as the R34 GT-t therefore i believe you will need the R34 GT-t Powerfc.
  9. position of the SMIC is not ideal?? there is a wheel arch behind it that generates a negative pressure instead of a radiator and engine bay. seems pretty ideally located to me. if you are bored remove the foam thats located in front of the grill to the wheel arch and if you are really bored cut out the plastic grill and replace with mesh. exhaust is a no-brainer and i would save up for a PowerFC or some suspension bits like adjustable radius rods (winding on more positive castor was one of the cheapest and most beneficial changes i have made on the two nissans i own).
  10. i don't think anyone said Ducati can only win due to its 'straight line speed' (i presume that's what you mean). another mature race from Stoner and quality wet ride from Vermuelen. what sort of lap times was Westy putting down after his fall compared to Stoner, Edwards, Vermuelen and Rossi? prior to the fall he was looking very good, was he able to keep the pace up (relatively) as the track dried?
  11. i agree, i changed the timing belt on both of my imports. (and fluids and anything else that is consumable).
  12. http://auctions.amayama.com/nissan/stagea/ see what's been sold here
  13. RS4S is a series 2 stagea. so more or less late 98 onwards. J-Spec, Prestige etc are worth talking to. EGA4IT spent forever trying to sell his one locally (finally did), they appear from time to time at auction in japan. the R34 PowerFC will run these with very little modification.
  14. spend a few hrs reading the sticky threads at the top of forced induction board. ..esp here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=66556
  15. RS4S is the factory manual with Neo RB25DET with R33 GTR running gear, ie gear box, drive shafts and suspension bits. worth a look if you want a manual and may want a lower upfront cost than a 260RS
  16. bolt-on HKS 2835 ProS for $2150..... ......i'll take 10 thanks. unfortunately they are quite a bit more exxy with all the oil lines etc delivered.
  17. definitely 370cc.
  18. that's what i am talking about. (wishes he could photoshop a bullbar and big mud flaps on Webbos car )
  19. you are correct. neo injectors are 370cc top feeds
  20. webber has struggled to make clean passes which either means his skill level isn't quite there or other drivers know that if they don't yield then webber will probably out-brake himself. my solution: if webbo clips someone on the way thru they will respect (or fear) him next time. someone fast and reckless behind you is a good reason to yield.
  21. buy quality parts (with a solid history of good results) and you cut down your time chasing your arse trying to trouble shoot problems second rate/unknown parts give you. paul is spot on.
  22. i'm with muz, rossi on a Ducati would be game over. Stoner did a great job but on the twisty bits Rossi had to go hot into the corners which effectively overcommitted himself almost every time. Stoner to his credit kept his cool (sign of maturity methinks) and was immediately looking to squeeze up the inside. fantastic race.
