  1. i found that it was easier with a near empty tank. as far as i understand the fuel light function will be unchanged so if you mount the 040 too high you might have issues. if you mount the pump as low as you can get it (presumably by modifying/cutting the bracket) you should have no issues. note: that i used the 984 pump but the mods have changed the thread name as it is very close to the same with the exception that the 984 has a hose end vs the open end on the 040. good luck with the install genghis.
  2. i am keen to do the same with a series II manual. i did a search but i am still not clear on what is involved in hardwiring the ATTESSA.
  3. plazmaman has this for their kits. perhaps they can be bought separately.
  4. thanks primordial, i am out if i can get it when i want it.

  9. does it connect to the ejector seat and RPG control unit?!??
  10. Huge thanks to 8005TED for organising the insurance on the stagea. i am already a customer of Shannon's (for my GTS-t), the prompt response and price provided was great. happy little wolv.
  11. as posted above so just repeating myself. serenity max. was about $110 DIY for both doors back then. bought from FHRX. i think some other types are more flexible and i suggest that will make it easier.
  12. just thought i should make a note that i received a reply today from nengun to an enquiry dated 13/11/05. the website is very good, certainly more user friendly than other sites. i have no ill feeling towards nengun i just think that it is a shame that a potential order was missed. the perception from customers in the worst case is no ones cares at nengun. best case is it was an unfortunate oversight. either way, as an owner of the business i would be concerned whichever perception was adopted. answering questions here is a good start to regaining trust.
  13. the 044 is listed as external but works internally. same goes for the 984 in addition they have a hose end on the bottom and a female fitting on the top. they are a tiny bit shorter than the 044 and that makes em easier to fit. the 040 has an open end. fuelpumps.pdf
  14. $35 delivered for one $60 for two.
  15. the 040 is easier than the 984 to install as you require less parts. if you install the tomei pump it'll take just about the same time.
  16. DIY section has the answers, Bosch 984 pump guide shows most of what you need.
  17. whatever we are paying you disco.......i say we double it.
  18. $9.50 beers at Lowenbrau and greasy pork?? i think my girlfriends stagea is on the same boat as yours.
  19. both mine with plugs if you don't mind cubes
  20. click on FHRX's link and go to "images" on the left side of the page. then click on the 'images of interest' as you scroll down the page you will see the deadening pics. FHRX installed my system but i was too cheap to get the doors fully deadened at the time. since then i bought some Serenity Max from FHRX and installed it myself. removing the door trim isn't too difficult if you are vaguely handy with mechanical things/basic tools and the DIY tutorial sections cover most of this (plus doing a search will throw up lots of advice). it will take a few hours to do it.
  21. definitely get em deadened.
  22. if it is a volvo or a camry it is possible the owner is just very embarrased and has decided to cover the horror underneath.
  23. i'm good
