  1. Why are you changing the turbine housing?
  2. What were the EGT's?
  3. Helmut Marko the mother? He doesn't seem to have a WAG following him around the circuit so who is the lucky girl?
  4. Have you heard of any Nazi spanking scandals since then.....hmmm.
  5. The only way to fix your problem is to plumb the wastegate back into the exhaust and run decent quality straight through muffler/s. IBTL.
  6. I'm sure it would be fine but you are in the territory of a good hiflow. Why bother? Get hypergear to bolt it together with all the super slippery lubed to the max unobtanium bearing centre and save a lot of head fark. I have done too much head fark over the years.
  7. ...where is Minister Roy?
  8. Why do you think the spool will be better? The GTX wheels work at higher boost pressures which seems to make them relatively docile for transient response in my limited experience.
  9. RB20 > 13B discuss?
  10. I presume Tomei still do a 252 with 9.15mm lift ie type A poncams. I have the type B 260 deg as mentioned above. Next question is why?
  11. It is impossible to say what part of the map will be referenced when you increase the boost. Odds on with a mild increase in boost the map will just get fatter but unless you stick it on the dyno and test it no one is going to know. Why not get the car Nistuned (or decent aftermarket ecu) and get more power and drivability everywhere.
  12. Massage it out then, it is possible with patience.
  13. Are you running closed loop? When you say it runs terribly what do you mean? Something hinky is going on if the car runs poorly at stoich on light load.
  14. New weight regulations would allow Tony Stewart into F1?? He will be sitting on the floor at a guess. Driver + seat = minimum weight is a good solution
  15. Hulk going to do another waiting year. He needs to find a sugar daddy next time he is in Monaco....
  16. I had to modify the oil pickup on a RB25DET from a Stagea (ie AWD sump) to fit a 2WD sump. It meant cutting rotating and brazing the fitting to the correct location. Also required heating/tapping/massaging out the sump to clear the fitting. Do you have an AWD sump and you are prepared to cut and weld to remove the diff it might be a better option? I have no idea what you are facing with a GQ with crossmembers etc
  17. Mick_o was getting very good consumption with E85 tuned by Unigroup. Flex fuel is what I would do if E85 was more available in my area.
  18. Can you take get it Unigroup and ask them to smoke test it before tuning day? That should locate any issues that need attention. Apart from the drive there it shouldn't take very long.
  19. Yavus is going to tune so if he is happy with it then you should be sweet. I have had cars back and forth from tuners over the years due to minor niggling issues and I was always lumped with the bill so I am a big fan of taking a week or so extra to get the car 100% mechanically right before tuning.
  20. With all due respect to Alex and Oyay (who have been nothing but helpful to me in the past), if you are paying the bill at Unigroup I would want to give them a sealed intake.
  21. I would make sure there are zero leaks before taking it to them. In fact you want zero mechanical issues when you arrive there so they can smoke it and get on with tuning unhindered. Time is money and it only ends up frustrating for both them and you.
  22. It's gonna be expensive taking your car to Unigroup and asking Yavus to tune the car with an issue.
  23. How much did Bernie make?
