Last time I checked in NSW the engineer I spoke to wanted the following things to pass an RB30.
1. Same yr model head (or later)
2. All the standard intake ie. airbox, BOV
3. An emissions test
4. A dyno printout 'without too much power'
5. Upgraded brakes (already done)
Ultimately the cost of the whole conversion including time off the road has been a deterrent but if I was going ahead it is hard to look past a RIPS built/supplied bottom end (or long motor if you have a non neo head) with 4WD cradle shipped over from NZ.
