  2. Not long now.
  3. I have a stock sump in the Hills district Sydney. I am pretty sure I have an oil pickup in the garage as well. pm me if interested.
  4. C34 for the win!!
  5. Jenson...blah, I'm too slow blah, car took a step forward blah....you could tell even the Brit commentators wanted to shut him up since there are actually cars running in Q3.
  6. Ricciardo very nice lap!
  7. I really like Silverstone. The cars actually look quick in quali unlike some of the mickey mouse street circuits we are blessed with these days.
  8. ^^ nando's moustache?
  9. Assen is always nasty for injuries
  10. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Any entitled krauts working for Porsche? Massa delivering again I see.
  11. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you can't do it on the track you do it in the media. Whatever gets the job done isn't that right Helmut.
  12. Nothing to lose now for the Chin, time to get under Vettel's skin as much as possible.
  13. 1. awesome fat slug 2. parts easy 3. you are not going to be disappointed by the sound of things 4. fancy people have all those things...Ian from memory is one.
  14. Last time I checked in NSW the engineer I spoke to wanted the following things to pass an RB30. 1. Same yr model head (or later) 2. All the standard intake ie. airbox, BOV 3. An emissions test 4. A dyno printout 'without too much power' 5. Upgraded brakes (already done) Ultimately the cost of the whole conversion including time off the road has been a deterrent but if I was going ahead it is hard to look past a RIPS built/supplied bottom end (or long motor if you have a non neo head) with 4WD cradle shipped over from NZ.
  15. I imagine you can fatten the midrange with E85 and -9's & -7s.
  16. Losing VCT isn't a step forward IMO for a fat slug. I would keep what is working and doing the job. A tiny increase in swept volume isn't worth the hassle IMO unless you engine has failed already. I would clean up the RB26 and sell it. Put the funds towards the RB30. Legality and hurdles more or less vary from state to state.
  17. Walbro will get the job done.
  18. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No, it shouldn't raise pressure.
  19. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- lol same on both cars here
  20. So you determined that your factory turbo is actually broken and the cause of your problem or are you just buying a new turbo because you still don't know what caused your initial issues?
  21. As much as they can wind into it without fouling the guards.
  22. Why won't it idle? Really?? I couldn't agree more, check the simple things first.
  23. Soften the BOV as much as possible. The stock BOV is nicer to use with a turbo like the GT-RS as they crack open at idle and have a small recirculating leak designed into them from factory which dampens the tendency to surge.
