  1. Nistune (or any aftermarket ecu) + tune = rich and retard gone Needless to say if you search "rich and retard" either in google or SAU search engine you will have plenty of information to trawl through.
  2. Sorry my bad, I misread turbo back for cat back. There are a bunch of ecu's available from the older powerfc's to Link, ViPec, Haltech and Adaptronic. It will come down to what your tuner likes using. There are a few very good tuners with extensive experience with RB's that are mentioned regularly here at SAU. It might also pay to do more reading on who people like using. DVSJEZ and Unigroup are two tuners I have no hesitation suggesting but there are plenty more in Sydney or thereabouts.
  3. Very roughly speaking 10-12psi + aftermarket engine management + 3" dump pipe + your existing mods = 200rwkw +/- 10kw This is about as good as it gets with the stock turbo so think carefully about your next step.

  5. The dump will more or less fit (with some massaging?!) but after that you are going to be extending some of it to fit.

  16. I would have identified the faulty coil and returned it to them and demanded another one. No need to bad mouth them at all.
  17. It sucks if CJ Motor gave you the brush off on a faulty set. Have checked each coil individually? It is possible there is a single faulty coil and you might be able to salvage the situation somewhat... $380 for OEM coils is so much cheaper than the last set of Splitfires I bought. They cost me $850 when the AUD was much much lower. CJ are Australian based so why not insist thru more official channels?

Plenty of users here have made substantially more power reliably with them. There is no doubt that all brands have some rate of failure. When this happens you return the faulty ones and ask for a replacement. Is there any reason you didn't return them for replacement? The overwhelming experience here at SAU is that Splitfires are an OEM equivalent. Splitfires were cheaper than OEM so most of us used them....even when we had to pay $1000 per set....or $2k for a PowerFC.....and don't ask about injector choices.
