  1. Pic of the 18" truck-a-saurus muffler on the stagea
  2. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I just realised that Sutil is 30 years old. Where do the years go?
  3. RBR low fuel run overnight in testing? The track was wet for most of the session so soft tyres late in the day for his time. 1. Mark Webber, Red Bull, 1:22.693, 90 laps 2. Lewis Hamilton, Mercedes, 1:24.348, 113 laps 3. Jean-Eric Vergne,Toro Rosso, 1:25.017, 59 laps 4. Valtteri Bottas, Williams, 1:26.458, 85 laps 5. Sergio Perez, McLaren, 1:26.538, 100 laps 6. Esteban Gutierrez, Sauber, 1:26.574, 92 laps 7. Paul di Resta, Force India, 1:27.107, 57 laps 8. Felipe Massa, Ferrari, 1:27.541, 112 laps 9. Max Chilton, Marussia, 1:28.166, 78 laps 10. Charles Pic, Caterham, 1:28.644, 83 laps 11. Romain Grosjean, Lotus, 1:34.928, 52 laps
  4. It is normal, leave it.
  5. George will almost certainly swap it for you if history is any guide.
  6. I appreciate the time and effort you put in on these topics Lith.
  7. SR20 purple tops are the same as RB25 purple tops.
  8. Green label AFMs are normal on a S1 R33DET
  9. Is there some sort of rubber bush (thing-a-ma-jig) on the steering rack (or thereabouts)? I am pretty sure if you tear one of the ears off that bush the car can pull to that side.
  10. Gasket leak due to broken manifold studs most likely. There should be some telltale carbon buildup where exhaust gasses are leaking.
  11. You would expect that any TPS feed would be wired into the loom already.
  12. You will need to sort out a constant 3.6v feed to pin 51 (traction control) on the R34 PFC and you will be sweet.
  13. Locally made 3" straight thru including 12" oval mid muffler and a monster rear can 18" fat (cbf going out to measure it) dead quiet and still makes plenty of power. It is quieter and better than a Jap system with no sneaky steps down in diameter inside some Jap mufflers.
  14. As far I know the ATESSA is controlled by wheel speed and G sensors, regardless there is a long history of people using ECU's like the PowerFC, Link, ViPEC, Haltech, Nistune and more recently Adaptronic to me there isn't that much conflicting information about which ecu will work. Since Nistune uses the factory ecu, is cheap and is programmable there is little reason to look further unless you need higher end features. Yes ATESSA will work fine with any ecu. I had a PowerFC on the Stagea and now Nistune and there is no difference.
  15. I thought the 71mm GTX compressor felt more docile than my 76mm GT compressor. My bum dyno tells me that the GTX71mm compressor felt more like my old GT3040 when it came to transient response (on 98ron). I don't think the GTX wheels are a step up when the old school 76mm one works better IMO and with less boost screwed in?
  16. Conflicting info? Any aftermarket ecu will do the job you are asking. Since Nistune is one of the easiest ecu upgrades unless you want to run external inputs like ethanol sensors or want to move to a map sensing ecu. Apart from basic tuning what else do you want the ecu to do?
  17. Maybe we should get the big red finger for Melbourne and wave it at him.
  18. I had a GT3040 and now a GT3076 on there but we shaved the engine mount. With an extra inch in height with the RB30 block it should be ok but it will still be close.
  19. Check that all the clamps are tight. Any leak will affect your idle.
  20. ffs is it possible to be more of a douche?
  21. 0.82 with your 52trim GT3076 and pineapple juice will be fine anyway. A .63 might have boost control issues but it depends on how hard you want to push it. The Mafia showed what can be done with the smaller housing and water meth. E85 is a whole lot better since it gives you the opportunity to advance timing down low as well as everywhere else. So peak power won't be an issue with either housing.
  22. Disco why not email streettotrack and get a price on a 0.63 Garrett turbine housing from ATP if you are not keen on using the 0.82 that you already have. I should be more like $400-450 than $900. Just checked out MTQ/Sonic and they are $583 less whatever arm twisting you can do to them.
