  1. If I was Force India I would have Kamikaze on that list as well.
  2. If you search ebay you can buy a factory style plug if you want to revert to the factory setup.
  3. Hi Mick Just saw your post. PM me if still interested.
  4. I would give Jez a look before chasing your tail with new parts.
  5. IIRC peak in cylinder pressures should occur around 8 to 20 degrees ATDC. I had some notes written down on the subject from someone who logs them but I can't find them.
  6. Is Ralf testing for them??
  7. I saw one in Thailand for less....
  8. Why don't you grab a can of petrol and a lighter? It would be the kindest thing to do.
  9. Sure we can argue that different engines require different things but ultimately turbos are air pumps. When you are making power well under the capability of the compressor and turbine then there is something wrong with the setup. I have been down the path of changing turbos and then cams following the best advice of some performance shops but ultimately poor tuning was the main cause of much hairpulling and significant expense on my behalf. There was also the question of cam timing which led me to getting everything pulled off and re-timed amongst the many things that were done. If the work had been done to the car at a high standard in the first place I would have saved thousands of dollars chasing my tail. I would double check the cartridge number on the turbo since that costs nothing but I am pretty sure the issue lies elsewhere.
  10. The Mafia had one running over 300rwkw with WMI so the 0.63 housing isn't the restriction at that power level IMO.
  11. There is something wrong with the setup. If the car is topping out at 150rwkw with that turbo then I would be looking elsewhere. Exhaust back pressure, cam timing etc are a better place to look IMO. (edit: should read 170rwkw)
  12. On Saturday I will turning around looking for you Roy....feel free to chuck a couple of beers down.
  13. White M35 in the rain heading eastbound on Bells Line of Road, we were in the yellow pig towing a trailer.
  14. TRS80/System80 if you want hardcore computing power....none of this new fangled high power Commodore 64 stuff.
  15. Dan @ ERD has replaced the guts of them but I really think you should leave it alone unless there is an issue with the existing one. Get it on the dyno and see what happens before you chase your tail replacing perfectly serviceable parts. Presumably Automotive Service Solutions has the bits to repair them.
  16. The Jones Stand is my pick for race day. I have the Jones four day grandstand pass. Last year I had the 4 day Brabham grandstand pass. Sitting in the Brabham stand on race day leaves you facing into the sun for the race which is pretty tiring plus you don't get to see them until they enter the turn 1-2 complex. Sitting in the Jones stand you get to see part way down the main straight as well as turn 1-2 which was pretty good for action in practice and quali with cars running onto the grass when the track was green. Fangio stand on pit straight is poo unless you like seeing cars flash past you. You can't see a whole lot in the pits so not really worth it IMO.
  17. Sender was faulty, replaced with a new one. Speedo works fine now.
  18. ^^dyno printout please
  19. Poor servicing? I found corrosion and pitting around the second hand Stagea engine I used in the R33.
  20. Have you got the boost plot handy? How does it feel?
  21. Thai GP has some appeal to me.
  22. It sounds like a vacuum leak. You will need to look for a leak from a blown intercooler hose/loose clamp or possibly where they have clamped off the BOV return.
  23. You punch Dezz, I'll take care of his missus.
  24. I was referring to the cause of the failure.
