  1. ^^hmm reminds me of changing the battery but dropping the wing nut and having it lodge/wedge itself behind the radiator necessitating loosening the top bolts and lifting the radiator up........but first spent 15mins shaking the undertray and looking everywhere for the bloody thing.
  2. The question is not can you remember the Iced Vo-Vo, (unless you are a whining little Gen Y bitch) it is more a question of can you remember when the jam and marshmallow were thick on the biscuit.... (any Gen Y'ers offended by this can bite my wrinkly ass)
  3. F1 weekend....already?? Suzuka as well.
  4. Yes. Check SAU traders that sell the correct part at great prices.
  5. What was the timing like on the ramp to boost, at peak torque and what were the afr's throughout the runs?
  6. If we get the tuner and the engine builder I reckon there is a good chance we will find bourbon as well. If we hurry our consciences won't be affected by any facts.
  7. I say we get a lynch mob together....who's in??
  8. Been there and done both name brand split and bellmouth back to back. Slightly better result with a bellmouth. The margin is small and could be dyno intraday variation but on 420hp turbo I would save my money and buy the bellmouth. There has lots of theorising that the bellmouth provides a large low pressure area which might marginally improve low down gas flows with the compromise being felt when the wastegate cracks open. Buggered if I know but unless I see a name brand workshop back to back test and post up results that categorically shows otherwise then I feel comfortable recommending bellmouths (and a slabs of beer with the change).
  9. Fuel reg line might well have been the issue.
  10. Yep, I agree with that.
  11. I have 260 degree poncams on the Stagea which fattened up the midrange. There is was no discernible loss down low. If I could have my time again I would choose the 252 degree poncams as they come with the extra lift but would probably remove the slight lumpiness at idle. You shouldn't need cams gears as the best results seem to come at 0 deg.
  12. ^^Funny that they had Perez ready to sign despite all that warm and fuzzy talk.
  13. Harry is right, Schumacher didn't lie on the track and roll around.
  14. Hamilton ran into the back of Kimi in the pits so he is a natual fit at Merc. If they can get Webber there they will have a full house.
  15. Have you got a plot with boost. I guess you have 260 deg poncams?
  16. Karthekeyan won't be at McLaren. Would they be silly enough to pick up Massa?
  17. With the non-garrett turbine housing possibly being the rest of the problem we might have the answer.
  18. Many teams have taken new engines for Belgium and for Italy so most teams have the engine situation well in hand when they get a second race out of those engines plus handpick the best of the rest to finish the season.
  19. Redline lightweight shockproof screws synchros eh...really? I must be driving a miracle R33 for >200,000km
  20. What happens when he can't get 100ron or E85??
  21. The synchros in the Stagea settled down after I pissed off the cushioned button clutch and changed to an NPC organic. There is some talk that you can load it up in the gear in question and gently slip the clutch off the line to de-glaze the synchros but I have no idea is this is an inspired or stupid idea. If it works it certainly saves a box R&R.
  22. Synchros. What clutch are you using out of curiosity?
