  1. ...until race day when they expect you to walk/drive/fly to Sthrn X station to embark. The bastards. Every other day walk out of hotel to nearest tram stop then jump on.
  2. You are all fun police. A comfy 250-270rwkw, decent tyres, better brake pads, don't drive like a F-wit.
  3. I'm thinking a factory turbo will bolt up fine...possibly even a hi-flow.
  4. I used a VHA shuttle http://www.vhaairportshuttle.com.au/
  5. James Bond had a Lotus that would be the honey badger if the trimaran sank.
  6. Hardly bearing bad news, last year I cbf doing most of the so called extras because we slept in or chose a real man sized breakfast.
  7. Almost bang on $1100 pp including the GP Breakfast, grandstand tickets, lanyards, programme etc. There isn't that much difference between "gold" membership signed up by July 31st and silver after but I am only committed for $500 deposit with the rest to pay Dec 13th. I will rustle up airfares later and organise shuttle transfers. There are cheaper packages than Crown Prom but I liked the location and the room was generous.
  8. I know what you meant, historically this is true. If the car setup is out of the window they don't seem to be very quick this year with most top drivers going missing at least once this year when they couldn't get it right. Nando has been the best of the lot so far. Look at Grosjean this weekend and Hamo (excluding their additional pit stops) they were off the pace all day. Crown Promenade offer two queen beds so good value for me being a little taller and the proximity to the track is pretty good (like a lot of the offered hotels thru Grand Prix Travel).
  9. On another note I booked tickets and hotels for Melbourne next year. Jones 4 Corner and Crown Promenade.
  10. "Usual no-show" from a guy who has won two races this year is a bit harsh.
  11. I am amazed that Button could find some pace this week despite so many other drivers having issues with understeer.....go figure.
  12. ...and where did you go wrong there?!?!
  13. Nando 140.621sec, Bieber, Capt'n Chin, Shooey, Hulk, Pasta, Button, Hamo, Di Resta, Raikkonen
  14. SV, Shooey, Hamo top three places with 40 secs left
  15. full wets Hulk just ran wide, rain stopped but lots of water on track
  16. Q3 2x RBR 2x Mac's 2x FI Nando Iceman Red baron Pasta
  17. I really think the wet weather means the P1 times are pretty much meaningless.
  18. Yep, I bought several things from Greenline and they were always reliable and quick.
  19. New CHRA and bob's your uncle.
  20. The ecu has the same pins and operates the same. The colours of the wires is anyone's guess but they were built at the same time so odds on the colours are the same. Is there are reason you want to wire something in when there are other things out there like ecutalk (http://www.ecutalk.com) or just fit a Nistune plus licence and get all the data scanning you need.
  21. What are you trying to do? Given that an R34 PFC runs the Stagea fine barring traction control then there is no reason a GT-t ECU won't run a Stagea either in 2WD or 4WD form it doesn't make any difference. What does it matter what colour the wires are?
